I know these guys have always put Naruto into priority. What irks me are that these guys keep saying that Sakura doesn't deserve Naruto because she is obsessed with Sasuke while they were going crazy when I said the same thing about Naruto a while ago. They were then saying, "Naruto's feelings for Sasuke, and Naruto's feelings for Sakura are two different things." And now these guys can't follow their own advice. That is hypocrisy.

But Naruto's feelings for Sasuke and his feelings for Sakura ARE two different things. They said that Naruto deserves Sakura, despite his obsession with Sasuke, because it is a different feeling (friendship vs romance). Now they say that Sakura doesn't deserve Naruto, because she is obsessed with Sasuke (romance vs romance). Naruto deserves Sakura, because his "obstacle" is platonic, while Sakura doesn't deserve Naruto, because she loves another one, the obstacle is romantic. Still seems logically consistent to me.

 

(I don't support the idea itself though and I don't like to use "deserve").

Was the words he used more like begging for an apology?

I also dont think that narutos feelings for sasuke and his feelings for sakura are the same thing. You cant compare friendship to love.

No it isn't. The subject was not whether the love was romantic or not. At the time the people said that "Just because Naruto loves Sasuke, it doesn't change the fact that he loves Sakura too." In this case, the same could be said for Sakura no? But no, when it's Sakura doing it, this logic doesn't seem to apply.

Anyways, people were accusing me of making this thread into an ANS thread. Look who's talking now.

I used to disagree with Ramen in this one, because i believed that Naruto chased Sasuke because he was the Prodigal Son, blah blah. So it was "priority" at the momment. But, like, really...I just don't care anymore. Naruto always protected her, but when something has to do with Sasuke, he just shut himself up. I know frienship is different from romantic love, but... at least in Part 1 Naruto called him out.

The love that Naruto feels for Sakura is different from what he feels for Sasuke. He feels for Sakura a romantic love while he feels for Sasuke a brotherly love/friendship.

The kitten thing here is that in this manga the brotherly love is the most precious thing, even capable to obscure the romantic love (especially those males').

But this is really a major defect of all jap shounens, where the theme of "Friendship" is folly abused (and for this reason korean mahwas have been made fun of them)

all this kitten about "deserving" love's someone....you know that it's a bs, right? Loving someone isn't like getting a trophey. Goosh, I uses to hate all this crap from SS/NH how about Sakura deserves Sasuke and Hinata deserves Naruto..

I support you, but this is a bit different. NH argues that Naruto should love Hinata because she deserves it. That is ridiculous. Naruto doesn't feel the same, but he has to see she is worth it and start loving her.

SS is another thing. Sakura is constantly getting demolished by Sasuke, so it is safe to advise her to move on, because Sasuke doesn't deserve her emotional investment. It is not about Sakura being a trophy, but a form of expression of how this realtionship is damaging to her. The same can be said about Naruto, because Sakura also overlooks his feelings all the time (not that he confessed himself) and hurts him even when she knows how he  feels about her. We can say that Sakura doesn't deserve Naruto, implying that Naruto would possibly be happier if he moved on.

 

So I tried to defend an expression, but it is hard - it is not a very good expression, especially if taken literally.

I understand you but I still call it as bs. Deserving something is the most bad thing that I ever read. Nobody would be engaged with someone just because "she/he deserves him/her". And I'm tlaking about personal life too here.

well u know naruto has shown some character devlopments . He isnt the same naruto as part 1 . He has become way too matured . He knows he cant force sakura to love him. And he defenitely wont accept sakura untill she truely confesses that how much her feelings were changed. Naruto has always wanted to see her happy. Not only her all his friends. If he has to sacrifice his feeling for her he will. We all know that dont we? So i dont think he ll call anything out if ss will happen.

So are the basis people talking about only about romantic feelings? In that case, will they agree that "Naruto doesn't deserve Hinata"? Because if the basis of their argument is based on romantic feelings alone this should be true right? In that case, I don't disagree with them.

But if their talking about how one character treats another, it's hypocritical of them calling out on me a while back. I want to make it clear which is it.

Uhmmmm, no... If Sakura loves Sasuke, she doesn't love Naruto the way he wants her to love him - aka romantically. On the other hand Naruto can love Sasuke and Sakura at the same time, because those are different types of love. We are not discussing how Sakura loves Naruto as a friend no matter what happens between her and Sasuke. Because Naruto doesn't want (just) her friendship, he wants her romantic love. So Sakura loving Sasuke is in fact disruptive and leads to her being the cause of Naruto's pain.

 

Though I agree with you, it is a very interesting theme and it is worth being discussed, I don't support filtering opinions here solely to pro-NS.

I would rather say that she dosen't seem to realize that it is indeed love she feels for Naruto ...

Maybe because her mind was full of Sasuke? 

Maybe she'll get a clear head now that Sasuke rejected her? (She didn't got an answer the first time)

Maybe she'll finally reflect on her feelings for Naruto? Like Yamato suggested chapters ago?

Character developing means he will shut himself up when the girl he loves is being disrespected? I'll be damned. Naruto doesn't want to force her to love him, that's true, but it has nothing to do with what i said. Even if this comes from his best-friend, his "brother", damn, his "brother soul mate", why would he just let Sasuke treat her like garbage?

She didn't exactly get an answer here either, just another "you're annoying." What happened right after she confessed was basically a repeat of 181, but on a harsher, more dramatic scale. He didn't say he wasn't interested in her until after he knocked her out, but she should've gotten the message both times, anyway.

In the end i dont really care if hinata deserves naruto or not. I just want to see what that crappy story showed me and that is !!!NS!! not NH and SS, for freaking 700 chapters. I dont care what kind of bond naruto and sasuke have. Iam not intrested if hes more focused at the time in bringing back sasuke then worrying for sakura. In the end one reason for him bringing back sasuke is sakura. In the end all naruto and sasuke have is friendship and naruto loves sakura. Im not intrested in their crappy firendship im intrested in the pairing kishi developed all the way till now. BUUUT nope he kittened it up with one chapter.GG. 

 

Naruto did a lot of things to help and comfort sakura, thats why i dont get why naruto doesnt deserve sakura but in the end sakura did nothing but lying and telling him how much she loves sasuke so thats why she doenst deserve naruto.

Hes not going to do anything with sakura as long as he hasnt kept that promise so idc if hes putting sasuke over sakura for that time. As soon as hes back that would change imo.

He's trying to bring Sasuke back for himself. ( ) He cares about the POALT because he doesn't want to be that guy who can't keep promises. You are not understanding. Wherever Sasuke is around, Naruto let him do whatever he wants and only replies with "... :/". Sakura is being disrespected all the time and he does nothing only because is Sasuke. The only time in Part 2 when he actually says something is when he say "Sakura can make a better plan than you, i'm sure!". He is always favoring him over Sakura.
