It's not a question about deserving. NH/SS criticize NaruSaku of being a pity pairing where the guy is so nice to the girl just to get in her pants when NH is basically the same thing reversed. Naruto owed Hinata his kitten because she stalked him and loved him for 15+ years.
Naruto deserved to have a better ending not some silver medal to replace his loss of Sakura. Damn right he didn't deserve Hinata.

Well from the way they tried to make it out to be that Hinata was so special that Naruto is damn lucky to have a person like Hinata who loves him. I'm not buying it though, he could have done better.

There is the translation of the rivalry scene from the book. Apparently, Naruto didn't deserve Hinata's love :lmao:

From what I've read from everyone's post, the conclusion is everyone doesn't deserve the other's love. I'm glad I wasn't here to read the translation.

So they're putting down Naruto for ignoring Hinata and trying to make him look like an unloved loser who would never get the girl (which he is in canon xD) so Hinata can look more special and Naruto more of a lucky? NH is so pathetic lol.
What they're really trying to tell Naruto is: "You're lucky you had a stalker who always loved you because you're going to be forever unloved especially by that pink haired b*tch." XD
