You know, what I would hate most of all? Imagine that NS has happened, Naruto marries Sakura or something. Sasuke will ALWAYS know that he could have her, that he was her first "true" love. He wouldn't want her, but he would still look at Naruto as his second, his replacement. His ego would be over the top.

As much as it hurts to write this, but there seems no way now which will be believable and make Naruto not look like a silver medal. I also have confidence that NS will happen or their will be an open ending but believe it, NARUTO WILL BE A SILVER MEDAL if NS happens now.

Kishi just showed how selfish Sakura can be(this chapter proved sakura confession to Naruto fake) and how she just can't let go of Sasuke romantically. All the NS moments we thought which may have some romantic sense in Sakura POV was proved false. It was just a friendly/sisterly or such type of caring love. Not a romantic love at all.

 

Sakura does feel romantic love for Naruto. She wouldn't blush toward him, or smile around him so much if it was otherwise. Kishi himself said Sakura had feelings for Naruto, and people like Yamato pointed out the strength of her feelings for Naruto. They might be caring love - but it's hinted that it's romantic love. That's why you can come to the conclusion that she simply loves both of them. After what happened in the chapter I doubt NaruSaku would just happen - but I don't expect their feelings to remain unresolved.

I hope that we actually learn what made Sakura hold strong feelings towards Sasuke in the first place, just like I wanna know why Naruto fell for Sakura. If Kishi can't at least give this, he will be one of the worst writers, Ive had the misfortune of knowing.( I'm not gonna get into how terrible his story has become, since I've stopped caring.)

 

The way things are looking, no pairing will occur. But, who knows what's gonna happen in the future chapters, seeing as nobody saw this chapter coming.

That's not necessarily true. Sasuke only cared about power, he never cared for romance. The only one between Naruto and Sasuke, that was competing for love was Naruto - with his crush on Sakura. Sasuke literally has no interest in Sakura, and having her wouldn't do anything on his pride - because he doesn't like her. He finds her annoying. And he was being honest. He cared for her once, but never as a love interest. Sasuke never directly rejected Sakura, because he never cared for her feelings. And Sakura continued to love Sasuke, because she didn't care for his feelings. She wants to find the good in him, and care for him.

 

To Sasuke Sakura is nothing. To Naruto Sakura is something.

You guys need to stop letting yesterday's chapter get to your heads I know you didn't like it yesterday but you can't let that chapter ruin the rest of your week all we have to do is have faith in Kishi and if you been lost faith in Kishi then I don't know what to tell you.

Sakura will come back. There's no way Kishi's gonna let her development go to waste that quickly. Sakura's still an important character, and she will stand up for herself. Not just NaruSaku fans want this - everyone wants and knows Sakura has to step up her game - and she will.

She did a kittening fake confession to naruto, therfore either she is extremely stupid or she is extremely selfish or maybe both. I don't know what good or sensible thing should I hope from sakura now. Yesterday's chapter showed how she still loved sasuke even when he attempted to kill her before and constantly demeaned her .

Also, anything happening in movie will just consist of off screen development and also not Canon so their is really no way which can save Naruto from becoming silver medal now.

It doesn't matter if it is Sakura or anyone else. Sasuke from Part 1 cared for status, even now he cares to be the dominent figure anywhere he goes. This is not about him having some interest in Sakura, it is about woman being a prize to a man, his possesion (I could very well see Sasuke adopting such outlook in the future or even now, since he is so power-oriented). Sasuke cares for things in his twisted and hatred-driven way. He is not really cold, it shows in his fights with Naruto. There could be any other woman on Sakura's place. As long as she acted like Sakura does and then Naruto got her. Sasuke could still see this as his territory that he "lended" to Naruto.

How is it "silver medal" "2nd choice" or whatever you wanna call it when Sakura, for example, realizes that she can handle the loss of Sasuke, but not Naruto?

NaruHina isn't necessarily a negative pairing... If they started getting development, how would you guys feel? It's not like I minded the idea before... I don't know.
