Ah Bigfoot

For people who believe that the government is the root of all evil, they believe that bigfoot/ape titan is a member if the royal family theory. If you don't know what that means it's basically that the royal family are there to keep humanity in stocks. In other words if their theory is correct this "Bigfoot" could be something like a farmer who coming to check in on this cities "livestock". The theory also beleives there are multiple walled cities, and that the outsider titans(Colossus/Armored/Female) are actually from the outsider and are trying to save the rest of humanity from the farm system. I don't believe this theory, but I think it's fun.

 

Others believe that he is a super natural being who started the war on humanity because they failed to properly worship him and the other "bigfoots".

 

Personally though I think that although the monarchy is without a doubt a huge problem, I believe that bigfoot is a part of the group that started the original war hundreds of years ago, and they are just now starting their final push against the remainder of humanity since they crossed the sea.

I like theory 1 honestly. It would be something if that Titan is related to the Reiss family from whom I would have never expected to be tied to the true history this closely. My entire view on the Reiss family has changed a lot with this chapter.

Your theory makes sense. I'm pretty sure that that Bigfoot is connected to the instances 100 yrs ago... But are the people inside the walls really the last kind of humanity? What about the titan shifters outside the walls? I'm referring to Bertolt, Reiner, Annie, and Ymir (she's over 70 yrs or something old, right?) And Annie's father's words:" I want to ask you for one thing... to treat the whole world as your enemy."

Also, remember Pastor Nick? Although Historia's father claims that only the royal family knows about the walls, he seems knew the truth about the walls, too...

Lol, I could list more mysteries for hours, but that would take forever.

That's the kind of impression people get initially from the manga/anime... 

It is very gory and dark, and it is nothing childlike like Naruto since it is catagorized into the seinen catogory. The great thing about the series is the main character's journey; fans suffer and cry with Kaneki.

The concept of cannibalism might sound generic but nevertheless it works on the readers. Lol, I'm sorry, it's hard to describe it unless you read/watch the series for yourself.

I personally think AoT is overrated. But it does have a good plot. And there's gore as a plus.

You know the funny thing? So far, Ishida's version of Touka in :RE is my favorite version. I have yet to find an artist who draws her more beautiful than the author himself. I'm not surprised by Kaneki's words XD She's a beauty now T_T

And next week we'll get a colored page ^_^

Theory 1: The next chapter is big. For people who believe that Eren is a member of the royal family threw his mother (another long theory lol) a lot could be revealed. I also think that the Reiss family is a big part of the problem. We shale see though.

 

Theory 2: The supernatural theory is an old one that I read back when we first saw bigfoot... God I'm not even sure when that was now lol. But yeah they think he is supernatural, one of the Gods behind the Titans. It has a lot of Greek mythology overtones that I don't really understand, but a lot of people think the giants being called "Titans" are important, and that their transformations/the formula in the needle have everything to do with old Gods punishing the world. Again I don't believe it, but I love seeing people getting their creative juices flowing.

 

Theory 3: Yeah I don't think the cities are the only remnants of humanity either. Ymir has been confirmed as a former Princess before she became a titan remember. I also find it funny that she was turned into a Titan during the same time period as the prequel novel is set. 70 years before the fall. So she could show up there as well.

 

 

It's also shown... terrifyingly... that some of the Titans know what they are doing at times... and can't stop themselves from being monsters. And as Ymir said herself:

 

I also find it interesting how Reiner seems to have split personalities, where he goes back and forth calling himself either a warrior or a solider.

 

Are they being controlled by the Bigfoot people? Are they independent of both the Monarchy and the Bigfoot? So many questions so few clues.

 

Let's also hope we don't get any Kishimoto style "red herrings". Still can't believe he used that phrase, he obviously has no idea what it means.

A lot of people think the Eren's Mom is really the King's daughter, and most of what he has told Christa is a bunch of crap and has been manipulating her memories for his own goals. It works in with the government conspiracy theory.

1. There might be some connection b/w Eren and the royal family since Grisha decided to attack Frieda implying that he might have known the big secret the royal family is carrying. But we shall find out more in the future.

2. Well, the supernatural explanation is in my eyes a very simplistic theory of Bigfoot's role, but for now everything is possible. I'm open to every theory.

3. Ah, that Ilse bonus. In my opinion a must to ever AoT fan to learn more about Ymir's past. It sheds some light on the Titan's behavior, too. Lol, I trust Isayame. I believe that he will solve every little mystery he has given us so far b/c we've seen what happens if you don't do it like Naruto -.-
