I guess you can say Kishi made a lot of hateable characters.

They weren't hateable from the beginning........ they just grew into the role.

It's sad really. the characters are supposed to overcome flaws in their growth, not add more flaws and go rotten.

Apparently some Japanese fans on Facebook say that Sakura will probably become pregnant or be pregnant again in Gaiden or in the movie.

From the sound of it it sounds like they are speculating more then anything then spouting off from actual evidence

Plus it's hard to tell who's Japanese on the internet because it might as well be someone posing as Japanese because they can speak a little Japanese.

What do you guys think? Also I got this from tumbler...

I feel conflicted, I feel hyped but I also want them to stop milking DBZ so much

 

Will it be a flop like GT? I hope not...

It's actually quite an honor that Sakura ranked #1 on that Most Hated Character List lol.  People hold such strong emotion towards her.

 

Yeah, and because people hold such strong emotions to her, HER redemption (instead of Sasuke's) would have been just that more epic.

 

Instead of finishing her story and writing an ending for her that reflected her evolution to maturity and compassion that the entire Naruto-verse recognized, adored by Naruto and acknowledged by Sasuke, Kishimoto left her undeveloped. He just dropped her. 

 

Instead of showing up the readers and proving that he was the writer and he had control of the direction of the story, from the start, he let the whole thing go. He justified the readers' hatred by giving them exactly what they wanted in Sakura: a scapegoat. A character they could hate, and feel ok about hating. 

 

Kishimoto missed his opportunity for redemption. He gives it to Sasuke, writing his character as one that does all this crap in the story, yet at the end everyone is expected to forgive him completely. But though Sakura has done nothing but support Naruto (and Sasuke, and everyone else), Kishimoto never writes her as worthy or deserving of any kind of recognition at all. 

 

As much as fans hate Sakura, thus her "redemption" would have been epic. Instead the manga was repurposed to give Hinata a happy ending — a character who literally did nothing in the manga for anyone other than herself and Naruto.

Seems like a short story. Yeah, I mean everything is up now with TV ratings continue to be high and top 10, movie sells great, and so on, they might as well capitalize it on anime. It is milking by all means, but nostalgia sake, I'll check it out, especially since it left on a good note.

Good point but I only say that because I haven't seen any new DBZ materials at all. That includes Battle of Gods.

I remember they used to show DBZ when I was like 4 years old but I still don't find anything nostalgic about it. Too much screaming & yelling. Not to mention the constipated-looking guys.
