Does Naruto love Hinata? Well, that's the question. If NH will be the final pairing, he better. And if he does, then Hinata as Rin will work.

Personally I hope that no one will be Rin anymore.

I didn't see anything yet that confirm a possible love for Hinata. That's why I don't believe in NaruHina, cause this isn't Kishimoto's way to develop feelings for a character.
I never saw Naruto trying to understand his feelings for Sakura, neither for Hinata. He does for Sasuke because he doubt about it a lot, but he doesn't for Sakura and Hinata, because his feelings are obvious enough, he loves the first one, and sees the second one as a friend. -___^

About the whole Hinata being mistaken for Naruto's lover thing, Sakura's still pretty much in the running:
1. Hinata hadn't been targeted personally after her speech. It could still happen though (Not saying it can't). Or maybe she'll get hit by accident.
2. Sakura could be hit by accident (especially since she almost did a few times). OR she's purposefully targeted because it's not the first time Naruto and Sakura are running into Obito after all. Plus, he could have gotten more information by someone who knew them. All of this is just speculation of course.

But yes, I'm also looking forward to this chapter . Hopefully Shikaku's plan finally gets put into action. Finally!!!

But you have to think what the events of ch 615 look from Obito's POV. He doesn't necessarily know about Naruto's love life so he might have to make some assumptions. And ch 615 shows Hinata caressing Naruto's face, Naruto thanking her and taking her hand and now they probably fight together. Sakura is in the background and hasn't been near Naruto the whole time. Which girl is Obito more like to think as Naruto's girlfriend?

And ch 615 shows Hinata caressing Naruto's face, Naruto thanking her and taking her hand and now they probably fight together. Sakura is in the background and hasn't been near Naruto the whole time. Which girl is Obito more like to think as Naruto's girlfriend?

I don't think anyone knew for certain that there would be NH cover or that the colour pages will be NH together. Maybe Kishi will provide the ultimate surprise and when we open the next chapter, it's Sasuke's little face that we will see in full colour. What would you say to that?

Oh Gawd. If that happens, I WILL BLOW UP. xD Hopefully, no. The chapter title was confirmed to be "Hokage". Now unless Sasuke suddenly decided he wanted to be Hokage, I'd say that means Naruto is still front and center.

Killing people like Neji in front of Naruto will not work anymore. Naruto has to loose the girl he loves to understand Obito at 100%.
Loosing the girl you love isn't the same pain as after loosing your friend.


If Obito really wants a broken Naruto, he has to kill Sasuke in front of him. ^^

I'm not sure why people keep saying that Hinata was caressing his cheek. Sure, she kept her hand there, but caressing suggests movement. Which didn't happen. (At least from what I remember)

Yeah but, I don't see another Hyuuga dying, so for me, it's impossible Poison.
Of course there is a possibility, but I keep in mind that there are other people that have to die too (Kishi said it). I don't see the girl that Naruto loves dying in the beginning of the battle. (and I don't see Hinata appearing anymore after the fanservice tha Kishi gave her)
She has to die before Obito's defeat, this event has to happen after all of the shinobi will have their own fanservice (Ino, Shika, Choji can't wait)

It was a caress. We must acknowledge that much, at least. When Sakura hugged Naruto, NaruSaku fans were quick to point out Sakura caressing Naruto's neck, so we can't be hypocritical here and say with Hinata it's different.

I thought it was odd too. I would have liked to see Naruto's reaction after his initial shock. Did he ever hug her back? (Probably not, but still.) Did he end up blushing? Smiling?

Lol, even if it was a caress from Hinata, it was still only from Hinata. Naruto didn't react in any romantic sense. He was all quite casual about it, like it wouldn't have been any different if Ino or Tenten did it.
