I don't think anything got killed in this chapter besides my respect for Kishi (and perhaps shounen manga in general). This is same ole same ole for Kishi This isn't the first time Sasuke has mocked Sakura's love for him and I reckon it won't be the last. Just as this isn't the first time Sakura said she loves Sasuke. I imagine we'll get some more NaruSaku hints before the manga ends, but that's about it. A romance ending in this manga (in most japanese series aimed at young men) is highly unlikely. Mark my words, it'll be some vague BS at best (i.e. the final scene shows a silehoute of Naruto holding someone's hand with a wedding ring attached).

lol this is a guy who drags everything out, I know we gone see then get together at the end.

Side note- what if in the genjutsu Sakura-Chan has A dream about Naruto saving her and being with her I have a feeling Kishi might take this route we wanted her in the Tsukyomi now we sort of got her in there probably dreaming...

I just don't understand kishi's thought process. He said years ago that he didn't write sakura as a good heroine and would take steps to make her better. For a time, he did. She stuck by naruto more, she roused up some troops, she established herself as tsunades heir, and fought side by side with team seven not a couple chapters ago. She even gave hints about not trusting sasukes intentions. What happened to that sakura, the brave warrior medic who when the world was ending stuck by her friends?

I get the idea from Sakura's words that she's still beating herself over the head for her past failures. Can I just be like "I know that feel, girl", and give her a hug?

 

As for my thoughts on the chapter...

So none of you guys are aren't pist off. Whatever what the case maybe she still admits she loves/loved him. At this point we can all agree that if she were to end up with Naruto; it would be because Sasuke never accepted her, which leaves Naruto as the second prize. I don't care how wrong l am at this point, she's really an annoying character; who just wont get it through her head, that he isn't one bit interested in her. I was always neutral when it came to Sakura, but she keeps changing that. Naruto would be an idiot to keep loving her at this point, he can clearly see how she really feels for that low life prick.

 

I hope over time my thinking changes, because right now Sakura is on my disliked characters list (most likely on everyone's), only reason i'm even supporting this pairing is because l want Naruto to be happy. He will not be happy when they're sleeping together and she yells out "SASUKE-KUN" every night.

I still feel this chapter was a necessity. This was the purging of Sakura's feelings for him. She had yet to voice her feelings towards Sasuke throughout pt2. This was pure catharsis. She put it out there in the open and she received a definitive answer. It hadn't been done yet and now that it is out of the way she can finally start to truly move forward.

Do you have any idea who's going to post the spoilers for the movie when it comes out?

I still feel this chapter was a necessity. This was the purging of Sakura's feelings for him. She had yet to voice her feelings towards Sasuke throughout pt2. This was pure catharsis. She put it out there in the open and she received a definitive answer. It hadn't been done yet and now that it is out of the way she can finally start to truly move forward.

It has been done and she did get her answer and that was back before he was a psychopath.

I'm almost entirely positive NS family will be in the movie.

Really, all I can say is time will tell. Let's see how Sakura, and NS, is handled in future chapters before getting too set in our opinions.

 

I actually liked the chapter, feels like we're finally getting down to business. Good grief, we've been waiting for this battle how many years now...? About friggen time!

If narusaku is gonna happen and happen properly, it has to be because it's what sakura wants, which regrettably means sasuke's gonna have to survive. She has to choose naruto while sasuke is an option for her, otherwise it won't be a satisfying conclusion. But truthfully, if still say those two being together would be much more satisfying than nh or ss being canon. Even with hinatas small moments with naruto this arc, it doesn't really match up to the rest of the series we've had and she still hasn't been a major player in this story. And I think we can all see why we wouldn't want ss to happen. Truthfully, I want Both naruto and sakura to be happy, they've both been through a lot of kitten in their ninja careers, and honestly, when sasuke isn't part of her life, I LOVE sakura, she can be kickass, she can heal people, and she's shown a constant desire to always get better. If not for sasuke and this chapter, she'd still be one of my favorite characters with naruto

Long enough to not give a kitten about it anymore....seriously by the time the Pain arc came along Sasuke was the least interesting character in the show and the whole time I had my fingers crossed that we would just skip NvS because...seriously kitten it.

That's the problem she regressed into being Part 1 Sakura and right after Kakashi said she wasn't like that anymore.

 

Honestly I'm siding with Sauce on this one.....kitten her, she's been through a heartbreak whoop-de-doo we all go through it its something little kids get over so the fact that she someone who Kishi keeps trying to build up as the heroine of the series can't get over someone even she admits is an kitten no matter how many times he hurts her physically or emotionally its pretty kittening hard to sympathize with someone like that who continuously makes the same mistake and has to be taught the same lesson over and over again.
