The author was not happy with the way SP handled his work, sounds like someone should learn a lesson from him.

yeah, unfortunately, Tokyo ghoul fell into the wrong hands. I wished A-1 or Madhouse would have animated the series (my dream would be Ufotable, but that's never gonna happen).

Idk, it's disappointing though. Maybe they want to give the manga a bunch of leeway? I mean, they animated through chapter 50 in just 24 episodes, I guess they don't want to have to start then suddenly stop because they're too close to the manga.

That movie will probably be terrible. I have never seen a good live action movie based on an anime.

Parasyte is a good live action. The effects are good too. I think it might be the first time that put on some effort on the live-action. Shoujo live action movies are good too.

Oh, that Naruto example is just an idea from an 18 yr old something leader who wanted to use well known characters from a series as a teaching method. Yeah, clearly he didn't take into account little kids showing such blatant hatred towards Sakura XD

But do you agree? That in Germany, Sakura is not popular at all? Where I used to live she's not well received. My best friend in Germany is an ardent NH fan...

My old pals from school weren't really manga/anime fans but if i had to guess, they would have been more neutral towards Hinata and a bit more, erm, receptive of Sakura because we all liked the 'kick-ass' characters (which means that Kakashi was boss). And 'cute little Hinata' is everything but kick-ass...

Well, then your friends have good taste. I also prefer the kickass characters which is why Sakura is on my top favorite female characters next to Korra and Saber.

Sakura tells Naruto he doesn't deserve Hinata's love? No offense Sakura but you didn't deserve Naruto's love.
Who the hell is she to be giving love advice? She married a guy who tried to kill her three times. Chalk up Sakura on the list of characters who've been assassinated in this movie.

The way Kishimoto turned what could have been an inspiring story about growing up and accepting the realities of the world, and instead turned it into some God awful nightmare is really something to behold. The only one who seemingly got anything in the end is Hinata... and the way that love story was ... ahem... "fixed' somehow made the pairing even worse.

 

Meanwhile SS is more heart breaking then most stories that have a tragic ending by design.

 

I've never seen anything like it in my 29 years of life... and I'm old enough to remember how the original Ninja Turtles series ended.

Oh.. the live action movie? Ugh. It sucks that the anime is coming out so late. At least the manga is starting to pick up.
 
I saw the characters, and yeah Mikasa is the only one who looks like right LOL. The live-action is gonna suck so bad.

No lies, I almost got teary eyes at the end. I asked myself why out of all movies, Lego Movie got so much praised. After this, now I know and best $3 I ever purchased. The movie is absolute hilarious, entertaining, and moral lessons really hit me. The twist and all is what sold this movie for me. Have it not been that, I would stay it's a really fun movie, but that twist and everything about why the movie even happened just hit me back to my childhood. It's a TNJ done right, it's a hero got everything done right, it's the prophecy done right, it's...a well done movie. My brother and my girlfriend need to see this. Thank you for choosing for me...even though I didn't say which is which but yeah. Haha.

Based on your previous post, does it mean that it will have a reboot?

I don't think so... Season 2 will most likely be an original adaptation, with the only difference to many other original adaptations (I'm looking at you Akame ga Kill) that it is written by Ishida Sui himself. It might contain elements from everything from the events after the Kaneki vs Jason fight scene in the manga, but I assume it will deviate from the original material.

EDIT: Do you read the manga?
