God, this forum is going through the 5 stages of grief... =/ I got acceptance a day or so before the chapter came out so I've mostly been hanging around reddit so I don't go through it again lol

Im also really pissed that bolt is neglected by naruto and it seems hes unpopular like naruto was. I always imagined narutos son to be popular since he is the son of the hero of the entire freaking world.

I don't think that the real shippers of NH/SS would be too happy (I'm not talking about the ones who were all about being right). The Naruto they wanted Hinata or the Sasuke and Sakura they wanted together, they no longer exist. This world isn't real. Gosh, this reminds me of Inception. Or it could be like that because that's what I'm watching right now.

If Kishi truly copped out... then I've lost more respect for him as a creator then anything else. If you don't love what you do...then why are you doing it at all?

The thing is is that all the arguments excusing Kishi make no sense to begin with; he had plenty of time to set up the beginning of the arc later, it doesn't have to start right now. Even when Naruto was just beginning, needing sales to stay alive, Kishi took his sweet time despite demanding circumstances. Now Naruto sells billions just by sneezing, and we're assuming that some ass-hat editor is "forcing" the creator, the owner of Naruto to do what they want? To work on a tight-schedule, to half-ass the end of an arc when in fact Kishi is notorious for sliding arc-endings in and out slowly and carefully? There are only three options:

1) Kishimoto is sick, or otherwise dying, and wants to end his legacy as soon as possible with what time he has left.

2) This is a creative plot whereas Naruto and Sasuke share conscious dreams of what could be, what they don't want to be, and what they will fight to prevent from happening. Naruto doesn't want to be a bad father or marry a woman he doesn't know, and Sasuke doesn't want to be like his own father or those who have come before him.

3) Kishimoto is no longer in control of his work as he was before, whether it is being pushed up for no apparent reason or he is just belligerently tired of writing and drawing for Naruto. He is either directly or indirectly sabotaging his work for any other reason.

If that is indeed Karin's daughter, then Sakura as lost every shred of respect from. So, she's going to take care of someone else's mess while he goes around banging every woman on the way. Nice Sakura, you totally have self respect.

The thing is, he's the writer. He wrote it. Trust me, I've been down this road before many years ago. Believing that the author was forced into an ending or changed their minds later only comes around to bite you in the butt. This is going note for note like the fallout of Zutara, to be honest, lol. (Only Kishi isn't going to take NS fanart and make it into a joke video ) Some fans will probably get together and make a Narusaku alternate ending project. I'd love to see that! The Zutara one fell through. (Dante Basco ships Zutara, though, so his yearly Zutara vids are nice shipping extras :) )

Yeah, but it's still not official. If it is, they should have done it in the manga. I don't understand why Kishi and SP are doing this at all. The ending could have been so much better.

I don't support what happened, I'm just being realistic. We saw too much potential that wasn't actually there. Naruto wasn't the story we thought it was, that's all. Sadly, in canon, Sakura never fell in love with Naruto. She wouldn't have so easily thrown him away to go traveling with Sasuke after he lost an arm if she had. She barely reacted to Naruto's state at all. The Sakura we thought was there was only a fandom creation, it seems.

why didn't she react the same way when naruto almost died then? Surely if naruto was fighting along sasuke it means he must be seriously hurt as well? Sorry i just cant see this sakura as the sakura I've been reading so far before the end. I just can't

This kid looks EXACTLY like Sasuke and Karin's kid. Please tell me this is a joke, what a giant FU to the SS to have their kids look EXACTLY like Karin, the only pairing that had more chances than SS. NH as well, because their kids don't look as good and don't have the OP power they expected. Everyone was let down, smh. 

That was my point. He made SS kid look like Karin, he made Sakura look more like Kushina (gave her the same height and bangs in "The Last" and even the hair clip in the epilogue), made Naruto of all people make his son feel lonely and neglected, and then basically tells him to sick it up, made all the kids ugly (there's literally no other reason to pair Choji with Karui or make Sai's kid look like an alien), made Anko fat for no reason, and made the whole epilogue seem depressing.
In the chapters leading up to the epilogue NS was practically canon and SS was about as dead as possible (Sasuke says he couldn't care less if she died, specifically says "I have no reason to like her.", and says both to Naruto and in his own head that Naruto's the only person left he considers a friend and has any bond with. Kishi even had Kakashi say "Sakura's not trying or wanting to make you her's! She only wants to save you!". He killed off SS from both sides, yet it's canon in the epilogue.
Then we have his statement on the last chapter saying he "accepted" the last story, that it brings "sorrowful" feelings, and in response to that says "NEVERTHELESS, I can speak clearly.".
His part in the series ends with the manga. After that the rights to the series are being given to someone else for Part 3. Whoever has to do with Part 3 obviously wanted to continue the series with a NH/SS ending, so they made him end it that way. Hence him "accepting" the end.
Yet he wanted to make it clear that it's not what he wanted and because of that made the epilogue ridiculous and nonsensical. He even still left hints to NS/SK. He has Sakura with the same bangs, hair clip, and height as Kushina and made SS's kid look like Karin.
Even without his statement it's obvious that this isn't the ending he was building up to. Now this just confirms even further that he's disappointed about it and had to "accept" it.
So basically, he still had NS planned for the end but SP (for the movie and anime) and SJ (for Part 3) forced him to end it with NH/SS instead. That's the only possible way to look at all of this besides just "Kishi sucks! He ruined everything!".

i never would had thought kishimoto would just simply take a kitten on narusaku so bad..absolutely no closure,no mention of it in the last chapters,no interaction between in the last chapters besides naruto keep caling ''sakura chan'' and the kitten ignoring him,not even an interaction between them in the epilogue..even ino and chouji has interacted and no narusaku...at least he couldve put a friendly interaction as friends ..idk why kishi started hating ns so bad or its fandom or its simply sakura who hes hating
