6 right now, and all of them vote no. so that's enough for me.

Not trying to be a jerk or anything, but this is the debate thread. The proof has to be enough for the people you are arguing against.
And frankly speaking 6 is too small a number. (It could just mean that only the people who liked Sasuke voted).

That's the thing. We won't have reliable proof to whether 95% of NS fans want him dead or alive until we have a survey that involves a huge number of demography.

I have no idea how much NS fans want him dead or alive. I'm looking forward to see how people will vote in your thread happy.gif

Well if we did things that way then we wouldn't have a debate thread would we? The entire point of this is speculation that's up for debate. If we only take things when they are complete fact then we'll never get anywhere.

I hopping it pays off, because it will be the end of SS. biggrin.gif

don't you think that SS is dead and from a long time too. kishi had made it clear so much that i don't see any other ways to prove it headscratch.gif ( also NH is dead for me too rolleyes.gif ) and i know there is still some SS fans that argue that it can happen but they are just saying that cause they don't want to admit to themselves and to others that SS is dead

I'm willing to say that SS is dead but there's still a chance that NH may happen. I'm not going to count it out just yet. lol

Well I'm a bit more on guard with Sasuke changing as a person then I was before. After all, Sasuke has been an emotional rollercoaster for a while now. He's either a bloodthirsty maniac or a emotionally scarred kid most of the time. Until I see him prove he's changed then I'm not making any assumptions. I thought Sasuke changed and what does Kishi have him do?

I'm just not sure if Itachi's revival is the final loop in Sasuke's emotional roller-coaster, especially considering the inevitably Naruto vs Sasuke fight.

I do agree. My previous post was about the future that I want. But Itachi's not the final loop to redeem Sasuke. Sasuke wants Orochimaru to summon the Edo Tensei and resurrect his parents. I think Sasuke wants answers. I personally think Sasuke's interaction with Mikoto will be similar to Naruto and Kushina's. And I bet Mikoto will also tell Sasuke that she was friends with Naruto's mother and that Kushina was from the Uzumaki Clan. I know this is going to play a major factor in Sasuke to be redeemed. But I just hoping that Mikoto tried to adopt Naruto when he was an infant. If it's true, thesis going to brew Sasuke's hatred more for Konoha. But any other than that, I believe Kishi is staging Sasuke's resurrected family to play a major role in redeeming Sasuke, and it will be up to Naruto to do the rest. And during their final, I think Sasuke will have emotional swings that either he has to kill Naruto in order to destroy Konoha, or hurried the quest if vengeance for the sake of the family he has left, knowing that Naruto wants to be Hokage one day.

well he/she have somewhat a point but i'm still waiting for karin to be reunited with sasuke to see where things will go then i'll think about these two. bringing sasuke's emotional part is not easy unless he gave up on his hatred and his thoughts on revenge fully.

That post tells me that Karin has a legit reason for loving Sasuke & Sakura does not. Maybe that is why Karin stop loving Sasuke because he is not the person she fell in love with and with Sakura, she never had a reason and maybe that's why she has feelings for him because she still fantasies about him.

Well let's be honest, I wasn't the only one in that argument. There were a few others saying the same thing as me. Please don't single me out, thank you. smile.gif

Can't the same thing be said about SasuSaku? Plus it doesn't look like he hesitated to finish her off. In fact, it's worse than the case of SasuSaku since Sakura was trying to kill Sasuke too plus Sakura was apart of Konoha so of course Sasuke wants to kill her while Karin was on the floor unable to do anything.

Again, same thing can be said about SasuSaku. Sasuke also warmed up to Sakura in Part 1.

Quite frankly, I'm way behind on the Anime. I don't know how it was done in the anime, but the manga version shiws that Sasuke had his Chidori hovered above Karin for some time before Sakura intervened.

The difference between Sakura and Karin is that Sakura only saw Sasuke as a source to get back at Ami and the girls, so she can fit in with the pact. Sasuke was the bad boy, top and most talented boy of her generation and handsome. But years later, it became an obsession, an addiction. It's was even proven in that second bench that Sakura was acting out of desperation, using Sasuke's revenge as an excuse to keep him in the village. Everything about Sakura so call love for Sasuke.

Karin however, was never selfish. She always tried to keep her lusting in private, compared to Sasuke. And unlike Sakura, she was willing to walk with Sasuke in he'll, compared to Sakura (with all the constant bagging if dates). And the most important thing why Karin's love for Sasuke is more selfless than Sakura's is that Sasuke had saved her at one point in the FoD, and she loved him for it.

And if you're considering the hospital scene and the second bench scene to be a sign of Sasuke warming up to Sakura. It's nowhere in comparison to the FoD smile he face Karin. And Sakura hasn't even given him any reason to be interest of.

Nice post. It seems like we're both working for the same cause : Sasuke treated Karin better then Sakura and Karin's love for Sasuke was healthier then Sakura's.
I still think the betrayal was to keep things from moving too fast. I was thinking Sasuke started to turn good, but obviously Kishi had other plans for him.

Well the ANS are in that status every single day they are also member saying that If NS happens they will stop reading the Manga other that they will hate Kishi for the rest of their life, another call Naruto a jerk for the NH stuff, angry when Naruto ask Sakura for a date and some even say that the had nightmares thinking NaruSaku did happen, and another girl almost crash her car because she was freaking out about the possibility of NS happening, some of the post in the ANS are genuinely panicking whwhile hating the Anime team for giving NS so much fanservise.

Where did they say that at.

Well, I'd like to think that Karin's role in the series is simply something else other than being a temporary stand in for team 7. If anything, the recent revelation that she is an Uzumaki is s strong indicator that she will play at least some part later on. I suppose that Kishi could simply have Naruto acknowledge that "Hey, so like, we're related. Pretty awesome huh? Who are you again?", but that would be pretty weak IMO.

The Uzumaki clan is a nearly extinct clan, so the fact that there's "another Uzumaki" is kind of a big deal. At least, it was a big deal when it was revealed that there Sasuke wasn't the only Uchiha. I'm not exactly sure as to what role Kishi intends to have Karin play later on, if any. Perhaps she is simply supposed to act as a bridge between the Uzumaki/Senju and the Uchiha. If that is indeed the case, then I like catsi's theory about how Sasuke will now have to earn her respect and affection, instead of just being handed everything on a silver platter.

I guess that's one of the prime reasons why SasuKarin works for me. It's a very symbolic relationship, but at the same time, but without simply treating the girl like a trophy. I feel that Karin understand Sasuke much better than Sakura ever could and Karin actually dares to stand up to Sasuke. To me that's the two very important ingredients in a hypothetical relationship. Mutual understanding/development and a healthy dose of back and forth banter.

@tricksie Thanks. smile.gif Reading you post made me very happy. I was so afraid that everyone would now hate me because of this whole mess. This really is a great forum and a great community and I would really hate to lose that. So once again, thanks. smile.gif

Also, he showed was grateful to Sakura by saying "Thank you" in the end and laid her down on the bench where he could have left her on the ground. He never showed his gratitude or said thanks to anybody else in the manga.
That's big for him.

I agree that showing gratitude is big for Sasuke; he did show it to someone else in the manga, though. Karin. "You saved me, Karin." (415)

QUOTE (ramenanmitsu @ Aug 11 2012, 09:53 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
And also, he never tried to comfort Karin like he did to Sakura when she was feeling down in the chuunin exams.
He never did that to anyone else in the manga I think.

That's true; but when did Karin ever need his comfort~?
Moreover, part of the reason why Sakura was feeling down was because Sasuke, himself, was a jerk to her. "If you have time to bother me, go train" + "Frankly, your abilities are below Naruto's". He never responded in such a way to Karin. (As a matter of fact, he chided Suigetsu for annoying her; and in contrast, does not tell Karin a thing when she is the one to lash out at Suigetsu. Plus it goes without saying that he is never one to doubt or downplay her abilities.)

So instead, what he gives to Karin is his acknowledgement - and that's pretty big for Sasuke, too; to consider someone essential and outright admit it to their face. Even Tobi himself says that Karin is Sasuke's "favorite"; granted, it is referring to the fact that out of Taka, she is the one Sasuke needs. But I feel it does illustrate quite well to just what extent Sasuke has acknowledged Karin.

The Sasuke who plunged into darkness is another story though lol /le sigh

I'll just say this. It seems that Team Taka is getting more development time with Sasuke, which I do believe that Sasuke will be staying with. That said Karin should be the one to go with Sasuke. That or no one, no other option. I know that Karin got betrayed by Sasuke, which I hold my judgment until Karin returns to Sasuke and see how it plays, but after looking back, Karin does seem to fit well with Sasuke, let alone the crew. The Uzumaki part really sets her on the bigger priority out of the team, minus Sasuke, not to mention that Kishi hold Karin back for now, so we instead got to wait for the complete Taka reunion. Karin is smart, suited well for Sasuke in combat (sensor), and does stand on her own well. She also can heal him. Sakura has more chemistry to Naruto, because she's a medic in which Naruto always goes head on and get multiple damage in the process, really strong due to the chakra control, smart of course, and tactical thoughts with each other (bell test), not to mention how much they don't give up. They're basically the next generation Sannin. And if we include Itachi's quote about Minato, Naruto seems dedicated to Sakura and vice versa, so if one of them are in trouble, they will put life on the line to save each other.

Naruto and Sasuke got their own teammate/friend/love interest that suits them well. Besides, if they are going to fight each other in a big epic battle, Naruto and Sasuke will have their own last words with Sakura and Karin. After all, it's being hyped for years and Kishi loves to hype things up before the battle begins (look at Tobi vs Naruto).

I have a question for you guys. If you were a SasuSaku fan or NaruHina fan, would you be able to admit that NaruSaku is the pairing that is most likely to happen, or do you think you would deny it?
