She said she'd kill Sakura. RTN Hinata's just overly agressive to me, because she acted the same way with RTN Neji when he was peeking in on the girls with the Byakugan. She did the same thing too when Lee fell in through the roof in the hot springs.

She is basically TsunTsun, because "dere" means there's a kind side of her, which there isn't.

Why do so many people like to draw comparisons from DBZ? I don't see as Kishi drawing inspiration from some of it means he will do the romance subplot the same way. And there's already a difference. Akira was forced into doing pairings and made romances that came out of nowhere while Kishimoto actually wants to try even if he doesn't think he's good at it. And people still think NaruHina will happen? That couple would be bad writing only slightly better than how Goku and Chi-Chi became canon.

 

I don't compare Chi-Chi to either Sakura or Hinata. She's like Sakura in how she started out shy and became hot-tempered, especially towards her love interest, but she's like Hinata in the way that she always liked the hero of the series when he didn't even consider her a blib on his radar. But even Chi-Chi's not entirely like Sakura there. Sakura's more gentle with Naruto while Chi-Chi is blowing her top on Goku nearly 24/7. And yeah Chi-Chi loved him, but she makes Sakura look like the most patient Tsundere in the world.

 

I just don't know how relying on other series is helping you with no solid proof. If you have any faith in your ship from the actual series, then use that proof from there. You'd have much better arguments that way.

Comparing pairings from DBZ is the oldest argument in the fandom, after Naruto and Sakura having a" sibling relationship". Yes Kishi was inspired by Toriyama but it doesn't mean he will make his manga the same as DBZ. Also comparing Chichi to Hinata is the biggest epic fail from the fandom simply because Chichi was a tsundere Hinata is anything but.

chichi was alreadt pretty aggressive at the childish... he was near to kill muten roushi, he flirted with yamcha before meeting gokuu, just because she want to find a love interest and the future husbando. Then she just reject him because he missed an incisor, making his smile a bit odd for her. Funny. Yeah, chichi resembles a lot of Hinata already in the first part of DB. their logic never fail.

Still I think comparing pairings from another anime is just really pointless, and doesn't really make their shippings any better. The comparison of NaruSaku to MinaKushi is in the manga itself. (Someone else said this before me too) That's why it actually works.

i wouldn't consider her as a shy girl.. I would consider her as a romantic and passionate girl. She liked goku from beginning but she tourned out to be a violent and strong girl. She just wanted to find a husband for her. He tried with Yamcha but she didn't like him. Then she met Goku and she has fallen in love with him.

She was like shy and flirty in a way... at a young age xD The similarity with Goku and Naruto is that they were oblivious. But Hinata didn't even care that he was oblivious... she just went along with it, without getting to know him..
