All, I have to ask is what Manga have they been reading? I don't remember Sasuke ever saying he loves Sakura.

Sai gives support to Sakura loving Naruto. He said that Sakura had moved on from Sasuke and confessed her feelings of love for Naruto. He says Sakura was only thinking of Naruto and that he believed Naruto should be aware of that. Mentally Sakura has moved on from Sasuke, but some remnants of her feelings for a Sasuke she knows will never be again (at his best during the time he was in Team 7) remains. But the team mate bond is much more of what weighs on her heart. I'll point out again the team mate bonds of the Sanin, even with Orochimaru he still had some remnant of that with Tsunade, from what we saw, it appears to have even been there when he stopped Sasuke from attempting to kill Naruto and Sakura. Sasuke sneered at Orochimaru's reason as weak, he knew there was some emotional reason behind it...
Look as well at how Jiraiya and Tsunade reacted to getting the news of Orochimaru's death, despite knowing what a twisted evil man he'd become and having had years to make their emotional distance from the team mate bond. They looked sad, they felt a sense of mourning. Now look at Naruto and Sakura both, and how fast they've had to deal with this. Sakura's got herself to a place where she can mentally start to deal with it, Naruto tried to fight it and then hyperventilated and passed out.

1. All those things she said ("You've been by my side all along... When I can touch you like this, I feel at peace..." ect.), they're true. They can be proven in the manga. So that, first of all, proves she's not lying.
2. She went there intending to bring Naruto back to the village and save him from harm. That in itself is one of the most considerate things she's ever done. Ever.
I can't help but wonder; What if Naruto had believed her? They'd be going back home together, Sakura's confession fresh on their mind. That right there is just...
Even if Sakura WAS lying, wasn't it for the greater good? She's smart, and she wouldn't dare purposely hurt Naruto, especially not after she said "I won't make any more mistakes." She wanted to save Naruto. To protect him from the truth. (And NH/SS/SN/ANS fans interpret "protecting from the truth" as lying, as if they, SS especially, have anything to be proud of in the Truth Department
In a nutshell; Sakura got blamed and criticized for "hurting Naruto" when it is exactly the opposite of what she was trying to acheive. I think she was good up to the point where she dissed Sasuke (who dissed them first
Naruto's false image of her and Sasuke.
This is the guy who thinks that somewhere, deep inside that abyss lies a Sasuke (that frankly never truly existed) that they thought they once knew and never even considered that the girl of his dreams could love him back. The very same guy that is stuck in the past. What he needs more now than anything is a wake up call. Something to bring him into the present. Something that says, "Hey, Naruto, Sakura really loves you and Sasuke isn't coming back."
The perfect way to achieve both of those in one sitting? Have Sakura prove her love to Naruto while at the same time showing how fargone Sasuke is?
That's really up to Kishi, but I'm thinking sacrifice. Hopefully not the "Ultimate sacrifice." though. (Because that's already been attempted
Though I don't think so. Kishi stated many times that Sakura'd surpass Tsunade, as she won't be able to do that six-feet-under. Even if Sakura did die, Naruto would not pull a much hated "Autumn Sky" and simply switch to Hinata. Not only would he be too heart broken (something he does NOT need any more of) but that would automatically make Hinata the rebound girl. ("Sakura-chan died so I guess you're my consolation prize." Of course, the NHers would be making banners and gifs and fics of that like it was true love forever.)
So, in a nutshell (I know I said that like 15 paragraphs ago but this time for real) I'm confident in Sakura's confession. 110%. And every sensible NS supporter should be, too. It's just the NH/SS/SN/ANS fandom trying to throw us off into believing some garbage that never happened in the manga. They can say whatever they want. They can make banners, videos, pictures, etc., but it doesn't make anything less true.
My advice to those in doubt would be: Stick to the manga, never leave H&E, plug your ears and go LALALALALALALA

Okay the confession was true, but the reason she came there wasn't to confess, it was to tell Naruto about Konoha's final decision.

Well, for Sakura it was a reason too, her private reason because of what Sai told her about how Naruto was suppressing his true depth of love for her because of the POAL. Sakura had to tell Naruto her depth of love for him. It wasn't just about ending the POAL so Naruto would stop chasing Sasuke, it was about breaking down that wall between them about the deep love they have for each other.

It does make sense ever since part 2 started Naruto and Sakura's friendship deepened going beyond the friendship basis and Kishi started giving small hints of their development even adding Yamato with his famous speech from 297 (there is a reason why Kishi interrupted him) and Sai who also noticed the feelings Sakura has for Naruto are more of just mere friendship. Yet it doesn't make sense the Kishi 2010 interview because it shows the opposite from what he has been showing in his manga. One reads the manga and you completely noticed the slow development between Naruto and Sakura and the obvious hints given by Kishi who isn't good with romance so it should be that predictable when he will make a romantic moment. But the interview its going against what Kishi originally intended to show in his manga. I believe Kishi stir words to confuse the fans and get them anxious to what will happen in the future but still.

Honestly, If NH/SS fans keep bugging Kishi about Sakura's confession and bashing Sakura and Naruto ( SS fans bash Naruto a bit i've noticed ) he's gunna end up making NS cannon lol.
ANd its exactly that, a CONFESSION, if she wasn't telling the truth wouldn't it be called something like Sakura's Plan?

Yamatos revelation comes directly after he tells Sakura that her feelings for Naruto are whats important not how big or small what she does for him is.
this is something in which Sakura needs to embrace. She needs to realize that shes not always going to be able to do big things for him. that sometimes you just have to be their for someone with your heart and feelings.
Its part of the growth both of them still have to undergo before the end.

Exactly. And Kishimoto said about 469-70: "On the contrary, I felt I was writing an honest and surprisingly determined girl" Thus yes, Sakura was telling the truth about her feelings for Naruto, straight from the author.
It's been certain since their introduction that Sakura would end up with Naruto.
It looks like the Sakura bashing letters (that Kishimoto has already expressed annoyance about) have made Kishimoto decide to bring Sakura's romantic feelings for Naruto and heroism even more front and center than they already were. It has probably insured a narusaku kiss will be right there on the page of a future chapter. I'm not going to be surprised if it's a double paged spread- with tons of observers like in 450.

Its a rather large tendancy of Fan fiction authors for some reaosn to lump Sakuras parents into the "hate the demon" camp and Sakura to act like all the other kids because of it usualy to find a way to explain her Tsundere behavior towards Naruto in the beginning.
the truth though comes staight from Sakuras lips in chapter 3 on the bench. She didnt like that he was always interfering and to her perception He liked to "See her fail". While her perceptions were incorrect and he did see and know more about her then she thought he did. Not once did She mention the way other kids treated him or the way her parents thought of him as motviating factors in ehr behavior.
Im actually of the opinion that she would have liked him earlier had he backed off and simply tried being her friend. But Naruto of that time frame was a competitve--Some would argue Hyper competitive-- person who would see her refusal as a challenge worthy of a hokage.
being a person who doesnt back down from a challenge he took the wrong tack and chased her with the same determination he threw into everything else.
Interestingly enough that leads me to the thought that she may even have been secretly flattered by the attention he gave her. For a shy girl like Sakura it had to be flattering to have a guy show a clear and dedicated interest in her. The only issue for her would have been that he for some reason wouldnt take "No I like Sasuke" for an answer.
And worse he started confronting Sasuke and thus in her eyes embarrasing her indirectly on top of the direct embarrasment from his clumsy attempts to date her.
this is the root of her dislike but also the root of where she slowly starts to understand him. His determination mirrors her own in many ways, and as she gets to watch him grow he does more and more to gain her attention.
Sasuke on the other hand fades further and further into the background only ever getting her attention when he does something spectacular and even then its almost as if it were expected of him.
