H&E's NaruSaku Debate Thread!

An honest question: Do you see NH and SS to be relationships in which there's arguments between each couple? Because in my personal opinion I just can't imagine it.
Maybe some people prefer NH and SS because they represent the outcome of idealized relationships, meaning that they would be happy all the time without having to worry about any problems or even having fights. NS, on the other hand, always has ups and downs, it won't be a perfect relationship and they will surely have some arguments here and there. They represent the more realistic relationship.
Some people might think that if a couple has disagreements in a relationship that it immediately dooms it to failure. Some might see Naruto's and Sakura's less than perfect interactions as proof that they'll only make each other suffer in the future. On the other hand, since NH and SS don't have those levels of interaction then some might think that they'll have the better relationships since they'll probably never argue with each other.
The issue could be that while some people prefer the more idealized outcome (NH and SS) others prefer the more realistic one (NS).
Most people are aware that any healthy relationship needs to have it's struggles every now and then, even Minato and Kushina (the coolest couple in Naruto to date) where known to have a lot of arguments. But there's also people who might truly dislike the idea of a couple not being all lovely with each other all of the time and might think that if they have struggles then it's not worth it, even though it's precisely the contrary (struggling and overcoming those problems) that makes it worthwhile.
It all can't be a bliss of happiness all the time, that makes a relationship stale and uninteresting.

Whatever, Naruto can be an addictive series. What I will say is that I'm surprised we don't have more NS fans. From the first 50 chapters we had alot of development for NS. I think about as much as NH has had throughout the entire series. I guess I forgot about the beginning of the story since it's been like 5 years since I seen them (other then a select few pages). I think the whole "really cute girl who I like alot" and "I think I finally understand why I like her" thing is what really got me. That's development in the first chapter she's introduced in, awesome! Not only that, but there's more and more development to the point we're at now where Sakura is an extremely important part of Naruto's life and vice versa. Still though, I gotta say the parallels of NaruSaku and MinaKushi (even before rtn) are still my argument to make in favor of NS.
I say that because it's self explanatory. I just need to post 2 pages from the manga with no explanation what so ever and almost anyone would know the argument I just made. I mean look at this!
I've never been able to take this into a debate against NH shippers but that's mainly because I cannot for the life of me navigate the Naruto Forum. That place is like a maze.

No but it's the very first time Sasuke has warmed up to a female since Mikoto was alive. And he might actually get to experience the wrath of a Tsundere that's his age. I have a theory that SK will have a reverse role. It will be Sasuke's turn to play hard to get

I'm also thinking he might've worded it wrong. I think he meant to say that Sasuke will have to work hard in order to earn Karin's trust once again. Even if Karin still loved Sasuke I think she'll respect herself enough not to act as if nothing happened. I think Karin is gonna give Sasuke a hard to for trying to kill her.
Also, you're right about the parallels. Maybe Kishi worried that people might've though that it was a simple coincidence in the manga. Therefore, he included them again in the movie, and more blatantly I might add, so that people understand that he was truly making that parallel on purpose.

on an unrelated note can somebody please point me to the direction of the naruto forums pairing debate thread or something similar? It's nice to discuss things with NS fans but I want to know what fans of other pairings think before I speak anymore of them.

Hard to get, meaning that Sasuke will have to work hard and win Karin's trust again.

Really, I can put up with nearly two weeks of jumping through loop holes from NH and SS fanbases (from the pairing wars) when they can't even read and discern the manga, look beneath the underneath, and don't judge a book by its cover (the RtN NH/SS big time trolling). I know you must have a keener eye than the rest of those shippers to see how much Itachi has changed Sasuke in the short period of time. But i'm not saying he's completelly redeemed from darkness. Try to look at things from a different and more positive POV with Sasuke's character, because there is at least 95% of NS fans want to see him die (according to everyone I know). However I'm one of those five want to see him live. Not for Sakura to get over Sasuke, but to see him actual have a sister he never had.
It sure will bring back the old memories that Sakura had to actually scold both Naruto and Sasuke for having a food eating contest in Nami no Kuni. I'm sure with Karin in the picture, everything will be balanced out. Both Naruto and Sasuke have a gal that's a time bomb, raging Tsundere, while they have either a cousin or a sister like Tsundere to keep them in line, because i know once those two will countinue to compete against each other in almost every as a comical role.
I hopping it pays off, because it will be the end of SS.

It will be great for
Well I'm a bit more on guard with Sasuke changing as a person then I was before. After all, Sasuke has been an emotional rollercoaster for a while now. He's either a bloodthirsty maniac or a emotionally scarred kid most of the time. Until I see him prove he's changed then I'm not making any assumptions. I thought Sasuke changed and what does Kishi have him do?

I'm just not sure if Itachi's revival is the final loop in Sasuke's emotional roller-coaster, especially considering the inevitably Naruto vs Sasuke fight.

Well let's be honest, I wasn't the only one in that argument. There were a few others saying the same thing as me. Please don't single me out, thank you.
Again, same thing can be said about SasuSaku. Sasuke also warmed up to Sakura in Part 1.

Can't the same thing be said about SasuSaku? Plus it doesn't look like he hesitated to finish her off. In fact, it's worse than the case of SasuSaku since Sakura was trying to kill Sasuke too plus Sakura was apart of Konoha so of course Sasuke wants to kill her while Karin was on the floor unable to do anything.
Again, same thing can be said about SasuSaku. Sasuke also warmed up to Sakura in Part 1.
The incident with Karin was only more signficant because he actually succeeded in landing an attack on her.
Also Sasuke (at one point) treated Karin alot better then he treated Sakura.

I disagree on this one. He treated both girls like disposable garbage.
And I think Sasuke treated Sakura a lot better than he treated Karin, the reason being that he wasn't in the dark side yet when he was in team 7 along side Sakura.
Imo, he is incapable to love a girl. There is just no place for a girl in his heart. And I think he is much better without one. Some characters are better off as single. Hidan wouldn't have the appeal if he had a girlfriend would he? Kakashi wouldn't have the appeal if he had a girlfriend too. I don't want Naruto manga to become like the drama Gossip girl or Beverly Hills where everybody has to be with somebody in one way or another.

Sasuke, when having heard Sakura pour her heart out trying to support him in any way she could, said only "Your annoying". This happened twice.
Yes, in both cases Karin and Sakura were betrayed by Sasuke, but in her short time on team Taka Karin was treated quite nicely.

I don't think he would have been any different were it Karin that poured her heart out when he is trying to set out on some goal.
Also, he showed was grateful to Sakura by saying "Thank you" in the end and laid her down on the bench where he could have left her on the ground. He never showed his gratitude or said thanks to anybody else in the manga.
That's big for him.
And also, he never tried to comfort Karin like he did to Sakura when she was feeling down in the chuunin exams.
He never did that to anyone else in the manga I think.
So no, I don't think Karin was treated any better than Sakura. In fact I think, she was treated much worse having him converse to her only when necessary.

THIS is proof enough to me that not even close to 95% of ns fans want Sasuke to die.

Do you realize how many NS fans there are out there? lol only 5 people voted. 5 people don't count as 95% of our fanbase.

6 right now, and all of them vote no. so that's enough for me.
let me explain, if 3 had voted no and 3 had voted yes then I wouldn't be so sure. However, 100% have voted live so far so based on that I can assume that most NS fans dont want him to die.
