A little while ago, Isayame stated that he would conclude the series with 20 volumes... I doubt this will happen. He originally wanted to kill everyone off, but now he changed that due to the popularity of the anime. Nevertheless, it's good to know that this series won't go on forever.

That is true, and also from Isayama said in a recent interview this current arc is suppose to be the most important arc in the story. So with the way how things are shaping up now, I can see what he's talking about.

Sorry got some bad news guys

While losing its first place to the live-action adaptation film of Io Sakisaka's popular shoujo manga Ao Haru Ride this past weekend, the 10th Naruto film The Last -Naruto The Movie- has topped the one billion yen (about US$8.5 million) mark at the Japanese box office only nine days after its opening. In comparison, the last feature film Road to Ninja released in July 2012 spent 17 days to reach the mark. Considering the current momentum, there is no doubt that The Last will be the top-grossing Naruto film, expected to earn around two billion yen in its entire run.

Seems the movie isn't doing as bad as hoped.

Oh, the bomb guy again ...

"We live in a world that is so quick to convince us to ignore our feelings. Feeling stressed? Get a massage. Feeling angry? Go to the bar with your friends and blow off steam. Feeling lonely? Meet someone in cyberspace and have a conversation on the computer. Depressed? Take a pill. Anxiety? Take 2 pills. Feeling happy? Well, by George, don’t talk about that because no one likes a bragger. Same with being sad, no one likes a Debbie Downer. But, heaven FORBID, that you actually TALK about your feelings and process them in a healthy way."

This was to be expected after the presales fiasco and misleading advertisements. What I would do to challenge that figure is inquire on how much of that revenue was a product of nonrefundable tickets. Subtract that and the number of disgruntled viewers who watched the film based on misleading information, then you will have an accurate figure as to how well it is doing.

thanks to the fraud and false advertising !  :zaru:

personally, I don't really care about all the money SP can earn with this movie. The fact that most of japanese fans (who are the most targeted fans ) are disappointed and all is more important than that !  :fu:

The money isn't what matters. Sure, they can sucker people out of their Yen, but it doesn't make the movie good.

Wouldn't that only account for the opening weekend. Not refunding tickets doesn't explain the consistent earnings for the rest of the week.

1- Pre-sales weren't only for the opening weekend

2- and also there are the casuals to think about ( people who sometime in their lives watched naruto but never were part of the active fandom) and want closure by watching the last film
