You know, the whole top 50 manga this year does speak volume to me. I guess it's one of those utopia where we once not knowing what's going on outside or not acknowledging the flaw within. I know my experience here there were good amount of people that really don't like this series before the finale. There were points that I couldn't find a reason to argue back because apparently the writer keep doing something more of a wtf especially Kakashi's EMS. So I guess it takes the ending to do it.

It's a shame that it has to be this way, but what can you do...

it'll probably show up in the top million list.

Just did. Gonna see his reply tomorrow prolly. I kinda knew the first time he posted that he was the typical NHtard but pissed me off how he was kittening about NH and attacking people in a NS fanart in dA, I couldn't take it any longer and replied.

Was the criteria used to analyse the placement of those 50 manga related to the ending and its reception? For all we know the reason for Naruto's shortcomings this time around have to do with the general public moving on since the series is technically completed.

2. Sasuke's fangirl scene => *fanfic canon* The Last

3. The Last => ??? years after The Last

4. ??? years after The Last => ??? years after story in 700

And Boruto in his movie looks younger then in 700.

So, yeah, totally twisted timeline.

 

Yes while nice it would take much space and time  but I'm sure we all know them by now you can do it though for the ignorant *cough*NH/SS*cough* people XD

I especially shocked like people who saw Naruto's beggining, like Ebisu and that torture-master who heard his declaration of becoming Hokage even from genin status where nowhere to found in the end... oh wait, did we know how Naruto became hokage, or what is his rank on the ending of manga?

Ok, I'm just gonna try to analyze the time skips b/c Finals are over and I have nothing better to do anyways:

1. I am assuming that it is less than three months. The next page after the war scene immediately shows Neji's funeral. Naruto still looks very bruised and injured in here, so I am assuming that it has been less than a week since the war (We all know that funerals are inducted immediately). The next page already has Kakashi's face on the wall... How long does it take to build a face on a mountain with the technology they had in Naruto's world at the current time? Sakura's hair looks longer. Tsunade is working on Sasuke's and Naruto's artificial arms, and that seems to take quite a while.
Oh gosh, what if Sasuke and Sakura actually grew closer during the time period ? We all don't know after all what happened b/c it was so incredibly rushed.

2. The first trailer to the Last said that the movie takes place "two yrs after Naruto's and Sasuke's fight", meaning that it took place a little bit less than two yrs after Sasuke left Konoha.

3. I read somewhere (but I cannot confirm) that Naruto and Hinata married about one and a half yrs after the events in the Last. Ch. 700 takes place about 10 yrs after the Last, making everyone 29 or 30 in the epilogue. We can see from the epilogue in the Last that Naruto's face is not on the mountain yet, so I assume that he did not become Hokage until after the epilogue. Also, Hinata's hair is short, she must have grown it out after the epilogue of the movie (good choice my dear, b/c you looked sh*tty with that haircut).

4. Ch. 700 must have been about five to six yrs after the epilogue (I'm just guessing)... Naruto is now Hokage b/c Kakashi decided to retire and step down... Gigantic technological advancement and modernization in just ten yrs... what BS is this (even The Legend of Korra needed 70 yrs to introduce some prototype cars and the use of electricity, just saying)

 

To make it short: The entire timeline doesn't make sense. Good Job Kishi.

That top 50 list was awesome. Professional critics are able to distinguish mangas with quality from mangas with flaws; popularity does not equate to quality, but the NH and SS fans choose to look over that fact.

EDIT: Glad to hear that after 17 yrs or so Eichiro Oda still can satisfy his fans to the fullest.

Well, last year was pretty slow, but this year he is finally doing what he does best. Last year, he was focusing on too many buildups and too many new characters that we probably forget in the long run. Now, we got the right focus, the right tension, and the right villain for all of this. It's mixed in with canon story as in the whole story and the story for this arc. The flashback as always is really good and it feels like we're in a right direction. Looking forward to the conclusion.

Nope to that, they already did that kitten in the Last, galograms and modern time-like machines on hands, that shows how close moon to earth or smth like that. I trully don't belive that this kitten ending we got - was planned for 2 years straight, movie itself looks like pure fanfiction from NH fandom, chapter 700 just has so much inconsistencies and ooc characters, that I can literally ram into the wall any of logical excuses that people try to appeal with. Looks like Kishimoto did this on purpose, trying to say something... but who knows? Maybe in future we will see something. And yeah... interaction between "those two" in that period, oh God, you musn't told that...

Good question I'd give it about 3 to 5 weeks if we're speculating. 

 

 

Now about Sakura's hair in 699 (when Sasuke left) that gave me an automatic hint that something was wrong. She didn't have the short hair that made her look great, and my initial thoughts were cutting your hair is a symbol of growth for japanese culture I believe (some one correct me if I'm wrong). So seeing her hair longer gave me that fear of OH NO!! Quite honestly I've never liked Sakura's hair long. That's just my opinion. After that I came to my conclusion this is not the Sakura I came to respect.

oh, I was just saying. I haven't read One Piece in like forever, but I will catch up with it sometime next year. Even so, from what I heard Eiichiro Oda seems to be generally doing a pretty good job with his series.

I'll admit btw, that AoT was very slow since Ch.51, but it's going up hill again lately.

You know it's sad when Part 3 (as they're calling it) has to fill up the holes the movie promised it would fill... from a marketing standpoint I can understand, but with how poorly contrived the ending and the movie were, that's just another F*** You to the fanbase who doesn't care anymore. We're left with an Ultimatum, either ignore the rest of this crap forever despite the holes or continue reading for the inevitability of those stories also being underwhelming
