The anime also made it look like Hinata could take on Pain singlehanded and added a scene that never even existed in the manga "Naruto saving Hinata as a child." That's not reliable at all.

 

As for Kakashi's statement you can't take that at face value. Karin was stabbed through the chest, said that she was done with Sasuke and forgave him at the drop of a dime and is still in love with him. Orochimaru was killed by him than resurrected and pledged to follow his lead.

As I recall,Sasuke had apologised to Karin immediately after she was stabbed by him and yet how he behaved with Karin was no where near as brutal as Sakura nor has he ever insulted Karin as he had Sakura

I know what you mean. I don't want to be like "I have friends and they are great!.......oh I got married too. Forgot to tell you that." At least do FMA because confession did happen and while no kiss, it's still satisfying. I strongly doubt Kishi would do the former route though. All will be concluded.

Unfortunately we have the scene later on when The messenger asks Sakura out, is rejected, and is told that it is because she likes someone else. Then we of course have that great dramatic (yet annoying) scene where Sakura guiltily thinks of Sasuke. The other point about the confession is that Sakura had a clear goal in what she did. Were her feelings sincere? Yes. Was she choosing Naruto over Sasuke? Seems like it. But two things are clear.
 
A. She still has romantic feelings for Sasuke. Loves him? No chance and imo She doesn't understand love yet. But definitely infatuation.
 
B. Sakura wanted Naruto to give up going after Sasuke.
 
The other thing to consider is that she gave up on trying to kill Sasuke and now believes that Naruto will reunite Team 7.
 
Be careful with Kakashi's statement. Kakashi well a super mega hyper ultra magnificient and a god among mere mortals, is NOT Sakura. He doesn't know her true feelings, affections, or what she thinks about Sasuke. Besides he has misjudged people before (Cough Cough Obito.) Ahem After all that has happened in the story and she still calls him Sasuke-kun plus the messenger guy, I'm not believing anything about her losing feelings for Sasuke until she herself admits it and Naruto confirms it.

Unfortunately for you, you have to read what the messenger said"he must be a great guy if you truly love him" and tie it up with how she thought of him
A)he's not a great guy, meaning she doesn't love him (romantically of course)
B)her expression and the way she thought of Sasuke tells it all
You can't just look at a picture and say "ah ha! I know what this is saying" without reading what it's about
I agree with Pepsi, it was a counter example

What does her still saying Sasuke-kun have anything to do with her feelings? In fact there's a reason why people use name"-kun" in the NV, and I'll get the scans later(I'm on a phone, )

Never use the anime as avendice(I'm talking to both you and Pepsi)

I fail to see how Karin and Oro have anythig to do with this but I'll counter I guess. When was the last time they have not agreed with Sasuke, when was the last time they called out Sasuke for down thing they don't agree with. Karin is like part 1 Sakura so what are you going to expect and Oro will never go against his precious Sasuke. But of course you can't take it as face value since we have to officially hear it from Sakura, but it's at least giving you a little insight on her feelings.

It isn't an open ending, but unless I missed it, that part didn't have a lead, like where's the confession. It just happens? I can't complain that much but a confession would have been nice. Oh well, there were naked women in the last 3 chapters, so whatever.

choco2@ it wasn't open ending the author gave enough hints who officially got together with Kenichi. 

-the bride in the picture has blond hair (which of the girls has blond hair?)

-in the panel of their daughter we see a hint of purple standing next to her (which of the girls wears purple spandex? Its not Ino lol).

 

Open ending is when the author doesn't give any hints at all. He leaves it like that with the purpose that the reader uses his imagination to figure out who got together with who. Its open for interpretation for everyone.

Well you worry so much about it.Relax.I'm sure he has some thoughts on his mind.I mean he has already made it clear NS is canon but maybe he can change his mind and make NH&SS canon.I don't know but we're still in the game right now there's nothing to worry about.And he didn't say Sakura because they are not official yet.Well Naruto hates the people who lie to themselves.If 631 moment is a joke,Naruto's lying to himself.Man  we know he never goes back on his word.He said she's my girlfriend more or less.Period!

The purpose of ch 631 is to show that naruto still love sakura.
It didn't make NS canon. And it show that NS is complicated.
Since sakura is more than friend and less than a lover.

I don't read kenichi. But it seem to use harem setting. I think the hero is clueless about love. So usually it will use "the first girl win".
