Can anyone translate this 5 star review? A short summary is ok. I relly want to know what there is to praise this movie for in that much text!

ナルトとヒナタの恋愛物語、ぶっちゃけ今回の映画はそれ。
話の6～7割は大戦から二年後の大事変を舞台とした二人の気持ちと関係の移り変わりを焦点としたものになっており、テーマに「愛」とあるように恋愛の占める割合がかなり多く含まれる。
反面、ナルト、ヒナタ、シカマル、サクラ、サイを除いた面子については彼らに比べ出番が極端に少ない（下手をすると登場するも喋らず等）。
そ のため、これまでの映画のようなわかりやすい冒険活劇やラストムービーだから登場人物勢揃いの活躍を～などと期待した人、またナルトの相手はサクラじゃな いと駄目な人やヒナタが嫌いな人、むしろカップリング自体ＮＧな方には受けない内容だろう。小さい子供だと退屈で話についていけないかもしれない。

個人的にはナルトとヒナタのカップリング自体は原作最終話にてあのような事になっているので、まったく問題なく受け入れ済。むしろ二人の関係の補完となる作品ということで非常に興味深くみることができた。
ただ、ヒナタの長年の想いが報われるのは結構だが、想定よりもラブ度が高いのでラブラブが苦手な人は注意が必要かもしれない。
人によってはナルトの心情の変化が急すぎるのでは？と思われるかもしれないが、このあたりについては受け取り方にもよるだろう（作中の幻術空間での回想が元々あったナルトの心情を自覚させるという作用をもたらした事を考えると納得のいく話ともとれる）。
説明不足な部分も多々あるが、その辺ナルトの心情や不自然な部分（ハナビ奪還に敢えてヒナタを加える等）は脚本小説でかなり補完できるので「映画は楽しめたけれどよくわからんところがある」人は小説をあたるのも良いかもしれない。
舞台設定も原作において投げっぱなしだった六道仙人の弟ハムラ絡みの設定を生かしたもので、妄想が膨らむ。

視聴の動機は原作完結とナルト最後の映画って事で。
今までずっと一人で家族がいなかったナルトが、少年から青年に成長して伴侶を得、ついには家族を得る事ができて、ほんとよかった。エンドロールから先最後はマジ泣きした。
視聴は２回。
ブルーレイで円盤購入予定。

Is there any merit to what people on Tumblr have been discussing about a movie being set in the alternate universe where Hinata's spawn sees Naruto and Sakura together?

Sounds like wish fulfillment and hopeful people. Who knows what may happen of course... I just don't want to see more disappointed people again on our side. I think we should be happy as a fandom working on our own things together right now, but that's just me.

True... but as popular and persistent as this fandom is(especially since the couple made sense and was massively developed), they could make an alternate route for fans of other pairings.

Oh no doubt they could.... I just doubt that they will.

 

Anything is possible I suppose. I said weeks ago now (time has flown by since the great disappointment really) that the only way NS will be "canon" now is if Kishimoto makes an alternate universe and just tells his fans to pick whichever one they want to be canon.... but I don't really believe that is what will happen. Who knows though.

Well from a marketing standpoint, Pierrot must realise how much disapproval and outcry their film is incurring. So many of us didn't particularly enjoy the subject matter nor the fact that it butchered established characterisations just to accommodate the self-centred desires of an oppai caricature. It's no coincidence that Road to Ninja, a movie that's largely viewed as being the greatest in the Naruto anime franchise, is being aired shortly after the release of The Last in January. They're trying to hold onto as many fans as they can. If that means appeasing their wants by throwing a sizable, juicy bone with a movie dedicated to them then it's possible that they'll seize on the opportunity. Mind you, I'm only spouting off the logic that would realistically be used to justify these talks. It's doubtful at best that such a film has any basis in Pierrot's reality.

no offense but why would you want that ? What was interesting with NS was their journey and the final resolution, I wanted to see how everything that happened beforehand would play out like the foreshadowed Naruto confession, the forehead kiss, the bench scene , we never got any of that so them just being together would have little to no value. Besides I don't want anything from Kishi and SP they kittened up and it's too late to reverse the damage done especially with cheap fanservice.

Unless you have seen the novel that came out and Hinata calling Sakura Sakura chan ugh!  Then Nope unfortunately  we are still waiting for the Kikitten kitten XD  .

 

Oh and there was some article about Naruto the manga not being even in top 50's  for most popular manga this year  .
