Haha, Kishi... we're all waiting for you. I can see a repetition in all the discussions here nowadays, cause we lack some new stuff. The letter thing was new but it doesn't give us a lot to talk about. Just enabling us to decide who it is based on past information... so yeah, nothing new. Like Darth Krypt said, just gotta be patient now. I'd be kinda pissed to wait another year or so tho for something profound to happen haha. But for this couple, I'll be patient and bare through it :]

I am a little worried. We all know about sakura in the last chapter and about the love letter. And as much as i hope she meant naruto, i can't help hut worry if she didn't say it was sasuke due to how it would make her allies look down on her for loving their enemy.

That was Sakura in Part I, not being able to admit that she liked the class loser.

Already in chapter 4, we see the contradiction between Sakura's outward reaction to Naruto, and what she really feels.

There were no allies around when she tried to kill Sasuke in chapter 483 instead of joining him. (The fact that she couldn't says more about her not being a cold-blooded killer, rather than any feelings beyond loyalty to a former friend, teammate and first crush.)

Honestly I get the feeling that Sakura is over sasuke, maybe its just because you guys are so convincing, the thing that worries me the most is Naruto dying. He could die in his fight with sasuke I mean it was alluded to already. Theirs also the possibility that Naruto's feeling might wavier to someone else or nobody at all.

It's funny cause at first glance you would think it's typical and a perfect fit for Naruto and Sakura to end up together, but for some reason its not.

If Naruto were to live, I'm pretty sure he'll get SOMEONE. Cause a certain aspect of his life that he's never fully experienced or had was love. He's the heroine and I'm pretty sure this story won't turn tragic, save for the character deaths. Kishi would have to fulfill Naruto by giving him someone who'll fill that void that he's had in his life for a while. If anyone, he deserves a girl the most. Then again, Kishi can just leave that question unanswered to us and have him single forever O.O but... the story wouldn't feel or be as complete so I have some confidence that he'll earn a partner in the end.

Uhhh yeah I agree. Naruto will have to end up with someone, and the onlllyyy person that would make sense would be Sakura, of course. All of that pursuing from both of them would go to waste, and we don't want that

I've said it before, but after all the NaruSaku hints (subtle and otherwise) it would be silly of Kishi to not have them get together

I'm guessing Kishi would do a timeskip epilogue showing the near future with all the couples with their children. Then we'll see who gets paired with who.

Yea don't get me wrong Naruto is the first person that deserves that special someone, but I do see him leaving an open ending which would suck.

What happened in ep 212 was Pierot's way of giving the last bit SS fan service because we know dead the pairing is in the manga. They just squeezed as much as they could from that pairing just like ep 166 if we remeber Hinata's Mary Sue episode.

Really? I thought it was a NaruSaku episode because she admitted her feelings for Sasuke were superficial and did not try to understand him so it was anti SS to me and yeah it isn't canon but you couldn't say its not an EXTENTION of the canon in those scenes

Oh My God, now I don't know if what I am about to say is canon, filler, or different in the manga ( I'm 99.9 percent sure it is canon), but in the last episode of the anime(eng dub) Sakura stood up for Naruto. I am referring to when Sai uses reverse psychology on Sakura to re kindle Sakura's faith in Naruto. Sai bad mouths Naruto and Sakura gets pissed and I mean pissed (she partially breaks a tree) she tells him to (lack of better words) shut the f up or I'm going to knock you the f out. She states that Naruto has saved their lives more times then she can count and that whenever people doubt it he always proves them wrong. She says that's what makes him Naruto Uzumaki. Then when Sai reveals his intention to put faith back in Naruto (she blushes for the entire scene might I add). Also the fact that she has been watching him train everyday even in the rain, with no regard for her health, her duties elsewhere and she is still bringing him food pills.

these are all the english dubbed episodes of Naruto

got to say I don't like it anymore, the first time I watched Naruto it was all english dubbed except for the last filler arc in part I.
Now I really hate it, however it's easier to live yourself in the story if you don't have to rely on subtitles. And is Hidan voiced by the one that voices Shrek?

Secondly WOW nice that sounds sweet. She has to mean Naruto...right? I hope so.
Btw what do you mean it hasn't happened yet? I thought Naruto saved Sakura from sasuke already?

Also I watched the confession scene and I started to have some doubts again, of course the onslaught of Nh pushers and NS haters really gave me a hard time.
After seeing this thing about the letter, I feel more confident.

That was actually a filler. The whole Hidan/Kakuzu arc had NS filler moments, basically to show what Kishi has already been implying, that Sakura's feelings for Naruto are evolving. I think in the manga they sort of imply that Sakura is watching Naruto train, but it doesn't have Sakura cooking soldier pills, crying over Naruto, defending Naruto, etc.
It sort of bugs me when they add filler scenes during the canon; it makes it hard for non-manga readers to understand whether what's going on is a filler or not. It's sort of like that lame Hinata backstory or Sakura's LONG flashback in the last episode. Heck, I remember watching Hinata's fight against Pein, and how epic they made it look. In the manga, it was LITERALLY a one page fight. Basically just: POWER UP! SHINRA TENSEI! STAB! Dead.
But in retrospect, it's probably better those scenes were filler. In the filler, they make Hinata a great cook, while making Sakura a terrible one. Considering how Kushina is a good cook, and her last words to Naruto, this could sort of bite us on the bum if it was canon.
But I remember liking that scene with Sakura defending Naruto though .
