Oh I rememer this one alright everybody hype for Minato... not happening   what's curious though, is that it seems that Sakura appeared more times in this trailer than in others were she was actually relevant for the story

Ahhh my favourite movie and favourite troll trailer   NH/SS hype lol, Sakura appearing as much in this trailer as she appeared in the previous 2   you know where she was clearly as relevant and important as in this one lel

Oh noes Sakura appeared as much in this trailer as she did in the pevious 3, but as it seems in 2 out of 3 she did not appear at all during the movie, so we should believe it'll happen exactly like that in this one

Wut? Hinata appearing a lot? She's definitly gonna be really relevant, she'll be the heroine of the movie, right Minato (Movie 4) and Sauce (Movie 2)?

Nah... giving a resolution to pairings wars and then focusing on Hinata's efforts to get her feelings to Naruto is a reason why they would go see the film. It adds drama and conflict to the love plot, even if there already is a canon couple. Have you watched the movie Obsessed? While it's not the same situation, the girl tries her best to get with a guy that's already in a loving relationship. Her presence added conflict to the plot and got in-between the couple's relationship. She wasn't a threat to the guy or girl, but her actions made people believe that the guy would give up, leave his wife, and be in a relationship with her. 
 
It brings the possibility of NH still happening in their minds if Hinata's feelings reached him and he realized something. Look at what we have so far, a lot of Naruto and Hinata interaction/Hinata trying to reach him through this scarf. This scarf is being promoted like no tomorrow. We don't even have any Naruto and Sakura interaction in this trailer, and I doubt we'll get it even if they are canon in the manga. Someone here posted that the it's likely the manga will end with NS, but this movie will feature more NH and Hinata's feelings as payback for the fans. Seems like that's the case so far. 

I see. Okay, while...I do agree with the second paragraph of your post I still have a hard time accepting the first point you put up. There is nothing but one question in my mind- Why would fans watch the movie if they know NS is canon? While you did illustrate your point by giving an example of the movie 'Obsession' I still have a hard time believing that, especially when SP can mint in more money by increasing the hype. And personally its my opinion that....chasing Naruto after him being with Sakura would worsen Hinata's character even more.

I genuinely hope, I turn out to be wrong and it turns out as you all say. I'd be happy to be proven wrong then

Probably best to avoid this thread then, like was said.

 

If you ask me, we're still at an advantage with the manga pointing NS and having several hints in that direction. (Agan, Kishi didn't do that for no reason.) I'm not going to be swayed by marketing. As far as I'm concerned, it's not time to panic until we start seeing NH in canon.

Isn't Kishimoto writing that? Wasn't his authorship of RtN the fig leaf used to justify that being canon? I've seen than floated more than once.

I think a better judge would be seeing how the manga ends. If, as has been speculated, the manga ends as an open lead into the movie then it's probably meant to be canon. If the manga is conclusive then probably not.

I think the manga will end and the movie is a "where are they now" type of thing... not a continuation into it.

Definitely to Hinata, it's a movie about Hinata getting captured in the end. What, is it Sakura? She's not even in danger. Hanabi? WTF would that mean, there's no denying it

It's probably from a flashback. Current Naruto can't say that to anyone period, it literally makes zero sense. He fought he whole war not knowing who to protect? He helped crush the Akatsuki without knowing who to protect? No.
