Sorry for all the trouble we gave. I joined here because I saw a very respectful forum with great understanding and mature. I like when people understand each other, including me. I was a little upset to see a huge argument in a thread that's not even related to it. So, our apology to you guys.

Ok I just read all the Kages post and totally agree with them.

I also agree with Alexander, I'm guilty myself for creating storms, but if people get 3 days banned for 1st offenses 15 for 2nd offense, 30 days for 3rd offense, 3 months for 4th offense and banned from the site for is 5th offense people will get the message. Moderators don't go around banning all the member, but when they ban 3 persons and the problem still continue they close the thread. And trust me when a person notice that a user got banned they try to stay on topic to avoid themselves from being banned as well.

I have never had anything to say back to a moderator rules are rules and as a supervisor myself I get very annoyed when an agent does not fallow the company policy and still talk back to me, but this time this is my sincere opinion.

We're not banning anyone from this situation. We only ever ban members if they are just spammers or if the mods are in agreement of banning them. We have a list that the mods go by when warning members and it has worked very well in the past. The problem was that the mods had been very lenient with the members and had given plenty of unofficial warnings in place of actual warnings. This is what we mean by being stricter. We're giving everyone a heads up on our new policy and reinforcing it so that everyone knows we're serious.

The mods are right in their wishes to be stricter, and even if some don't agree you have to remember that this is their site so we have to abide by their rules. If we ever grow discontent with how thing are handled around here then we should find another site in which to post.

If people really want to get more information about the movie then you can visit Naruto Forums. I'm sure that most of the info that was posted here actually came from people who posted on that site. So while the Road to Ninja thread remains closed here we can go there. As the mods said, it won't be a permanent closure. Besides, it's only been a day, I'm sure we can handle some days without talking about it.

This is an NS thread, not SasuKarin. I don't see how this couple has anything to do with our pairing at all. Some people may consider it as a sisterpairing. ._.

First of all, I just want to say that I am very very sorry. I wasn't trying to derail any threads, neither the movie thread nor the debate thread. The reason why I moved the discussion to the debate thread was simply because I felt that it was a more appropriate place. I wasn’t trying to sidestep the closure or anything like that. In fact, I moved the discussion to the debate thread before the movie thread was even closed.

Second of all, I certainly wasn't trying to create an unfriendly atmosphere either. To me, It was just a regular discussion, no different from any other discussion here on H&E. There was no ill will on my part against any of the other members, so to anyone who found my behaviour hostile or unfriendly, I deeply apologize.

I really really like this forum. One of the reasons why I decided to join, other than it being an NS forum, was precisely because of the friendly atmosphere. A lot of other forums don’t have that, at least not to my experience. As such, it is something I greatly value about H&E.

The thing is that I have a very bad habit of getting caught up in a discussion to the point where I will almost completely disregard anything else. This is especially true it it’s a subject that I feel very strongly about, such as this recent incident. It’s a bad habit that I’ve been trying to get rid off for quite time now, partially by not seeking out places where I know such a discussion might arise but also by simply controlling myself better when it comes to discussing things. Sometimes I succeed and other times I fail. This was one of those times where I failed.

With regards to the enforcement of a stricter policy, if that’s what the staff deems necessary, then that’s how it’s going to be. I wasn't aware that this problem was so rampant here. To my knowledge, the only two instances where a thread had to be closed was in April with the debate thread and now with the movie thread. However, if the problem is this severe, then I totally understand where the staff is coming from.

Once again, I’m sorry for any inconveniences I have caused.

well you kind of answered you own question there. sasukarin eliminates sasusaku and thus paves a way for narusaku.
it's the same reason we have to discuss naruhina.

I cannot support SasuKarin. It would make me hypocritical since my point onto why SasuSaku won't happen is because Sasuke doesn't care about her and tried to kill her. If Karin goes back to Sasuke, I will lose all my respect for her just like if Sakura would go back to Sasuke.

Thanks guys, for all you do. The fandom is fortunate to have you as this is a wonderfully fair and well-moderated site. Even with the recent uncharacteristic flare ups. That fact that you are willing to take down threads to address issues and realign our little community is just proof of how much you care. So many, many thanks for your hard work, friends.

And definitely with the site changes in the works, perhaps it's not a bad time to address these community changes as well. After all, there will only be more new members in the future, not less, as the series heats up with the climax and finale. So it's good to get these wrinkles ironed out before the influx, not during. And a new look will help reinforce these changes. *no pressure smiter - lol*

If you guys are open to discuss SasuKarin here, then fine by me. Cuz it might as well help us move on from these issues. XD

Let's say my heart does not support SK, but my mind does, if that makes any sense. If feel like the pairing don't need the depth that SS does, as both characters of the pairing are main characters. Sasuke's only sane goal is to reunite his clan, and I predict that by the end of the series, we'll see everyone's dreams come true. After all those tragic stories(Konan, Yahiko, Nagato, Obito), we must just once get a happy ending. I didn't think twice about SK before I found out she was an Uzumaki, she kind of became a "suitable mate" for Sasuke. I just don't want her to be a "baby producer". And I can never imagine him as a loving father, or that "family guy", but I'm fine with family issues. That's my first prediction of Sasuke's future, second - travelling around the world with Taka. Third - dying. Some of you may but I'll be , dunno why.

Not a sasukar shipper but the vibe I'm getting from the narrative has a Kenshin-like feel when it comes to Sasuke ending story- we're even getting Taka coming back together now with Karin somewhere on the way to them...
