He seems to be the masked guy in the movie. From the looks of it, it looks like he's the one named Menma in this world. Not only that, he also has the same whisker marks as Naruto. Looks like he's the one who has dark Kyuubi/Kurama. I think this Menma guy is the AU!Naruto.

If there's an AU!Naruto, then that means there must be an AU!Sakura as well. I'm guessing AU!Sakura is the one of the Sennin that was previously posted.

Yeah, I notice they haven't shown that Naruto has feelings for Sakura in any of the promotion stuff too (not including the picture of Team 7 eating at the ramen place). In fact they haven't stated Naruto's crush on Sakura for a long time in the manga either, makes me wonder if It will ever be brought up again.

I know what you mean, it almost fell like he wants us to forget about Naruto loving Sakura, but it took more than a 100 chapters for Hinata feelings to pop up again same thing with Sakura. So I would not worry about Naruto feelings for Sakura in the manga.

I mostly think they are holding something big for NS, since her behaviors towards Naruto has changed so much that she has complete faith in him and wants to be at his side.
Sakura is not saying that she wants to be there for him, just like he has always been there for her in a way to re-pay him back for all the things he has done for her, is more as a we will be together, something that has a lot more meaning that wanting to be there for him to re-pay him.

You're right on that.

If I'm honest I never really believed NH had any chance whatsoever given Naruto's nature of never giving up, that's just my opinion of course. Either Naruto gets Sakura in the end or he lives the rest of his life watching from a distance as Sakura builds a life with Sasuke.

Has anyone else seen the Road to Sakura trailer? Looks like her dad might be making an appearance! Not sure if Naruto will be though, as he states "I wonder if there's a chance for me to make an appearance in this one?" in the preview. I think there's a chance that Ino will play a bigger role in this episode than he will.

Truth. But do you honestly believe Kishi will keep his love and make him move on? I don't know what will happen but given the fact that Naruto is the main character, if NaruSaku doesn't happen something I really doubt, it will not be because Naruto accepted to move on, it will be because Sakura stated that she wants to be with him but Naruto tells her that he doesn't want to force her to be with him something I really doubt.

You see from the moment Sai told her how much Naruto loves her and she decided to confess to him, the only non possible NS scenario I can see are, Sakura becoming a Villain (unlikely), Sakura being related to Naruto (unlikely) Sakura dying to save Naruto's life or Naruto dying are the only scenarios I can see happening, well there is still the chance as an open ending.

If Sasuke was a loving person with her and promise her that after he finished his mess with Itachi he would make it up to her in some way, because if he choose to have a relationship with her it may not work due to the fact that he hates his brother for so long they might hurt each other in the long run.
That could be the only way I could see Kishi setting up a scenario for Naruto to let go of his feelings for her. But the fact that Sasuke keeps her down and bring the worse in her character, it setting her up to move on, she will receive her closure with Sasuke and leg go those feelings that only gives her pain, so she could give her heart to the one and only person that truly loves her and would protect her all his life.

Naruto was never a jerk with Sakura, he is a deamenr and always wish the best for his friends, I cannot see him still loving Sakura and not winning her heart, and could be the main reason why the don't keep showing his feelings like the girls, his feelings has a lot more weight since the story is about him overcoming all the task that seemed impossible when the story stated.

I've seen them complain that liking a different Sasuke makes her look shallow, and you know what, they're right. But this might be actually a good thing since it would prove that when if comes to Sasuke the romantic feelings Sakura has for him don't go beyond superficiality. I'm not saying she doesn't care for normal Sasuke, she really does, but this might be the definite proof that she's confusing caring for him with loving him because of the superficial attraction she has for him.

Are you a user in NF, because the people who I heard saying that were from that forum, and to be honest even I commented about SS not caring that Sakura could actually fall for this fake Sasuke, but so far it seems that they don't care same goes for NH what happen with the patience love and the sweet Hinata. I am now starting to believe that many of those fans don't care about the character they only care about the pairing itself. How can someone say that Hinata needs to end up with Naruto or her character will be a waste or I think if Hinata doesn't end up with Naruto she might kill herself, How in the hell can you think that way about the character you love.
I even read a comment from a SS fan saying that she loves all the Sasuke, the nice one, the arrogant one, even the psycho one from summit implying that she was ok with Sasuke trying to kill his friends, but still ship the SS pairing.

I remember reading a comment once in one of the forums, that was asking why is Naruto trying to get with a girl who is obviously not into him. I never respond to other forums, but if I did responded to that comment, I would said something like this,

Why is Naruto trying to save a friend who obviously doesn't want to be saved? Because he doesn't give up, he is stubborn. Don't you find it to be a little bit coincidental that out of all the seemingly impossible tasks he has (and had), the two he still has are the ones that involve his teammates (Sasuke and Sakura)? Isn't it also a little bit to coincidental that those two tasks are the same as the ones that Jariaya(?) had stated he failed to achieve right before he die (get the girl, save his friend)?

I check NF sometimes to get news about Road to Ninja but I'm not a user there. That's where I heard some people comment that Sakura liking a different Sasuke makes her feelings for him shallow. It's the same situation we get in harem animes, the guy has an attraction for many of the different girls but in the end he only loves one. Maybe because Sakura is a girl it is more difficult to accept that even if she is attracted to one guy (Sasuke) she truly loves another (Naruto).

You seem to be right that some people just care about the paring itself and completely disregard the character development.

Yeah it's an interesting trailer and I hope Naruto isn't in the episode. Give Sakura a chance to show some development on her own with lots of focus on the Ino-Sakura relationship.

ANS fans really hates all parallels because they point towards Naruto and Sakura, they also hates Sai and Yamato.

But the question is why Kishi put them there and point them To Naruto, Sakura and Sasuke?
And them said the new generation will always surpast the previous one.

No, it isn't a coincidence at all. That's precisely Kishimoto's plan.

I'll tell you what also isn't a coincidence, Obito's regrets in death. As his life was slipping away he regrets not having more time to strengthen his relationship with Kakashi and also feels sad that he never got the chance to confess his love for Rin. Obito's dreams and personality are a parallel to Naruto's. The big difference is that Obito's aspirations ended in tragedy thanks to his untimely death.

Naruto is meant to overcome the obstacles that both Jiraiya and Obito failed to do. The point of the story if to have Naruto surpass them and conquer the impossible odds that are ahead of him. Those include reestablishing the relationship you had with your rival and winning over the girl you like.

What was the point of making Obito and Jiraiya (who are obvious parallels of Naruto) regret their unfulfilled love if not to show that Naruto can break that tragic cycle by making Sakura fall in love with him thanks to his determination?

If Naruto fails to eventually be with Sakura that's like saying that if you adopt Naruto's attitude and ideology, which Jiraiya and Obito also had, then you will still have no chance at getting a girl you fall in love with and forever suffer from unrequited love. That's not a nice message.
