Can anyone remind what does Suigitsu mean about Karin did something Sasuke long time ago? I don't know if that was addressed yet. Wow, we talking about something different. I promise to post something related to the thread.

I seriously don't have anything against murder attempts when it comes to fiction.

There's a lot of stories where someone tries to kill another but in the end they become friends, it's really kind of standard in many stories. If I said that Sakura shouldn't care about Sasuke because he tried to kill her, then I should be saying that Naruto shouldn't care about him either.

Even before Sasuke turned evil Sakura's love for him wasn't portrayed as good as Naruto's love was for her. Naruto's number one priority is to see how he can make Sakura happy, seeing her smile is all that he cares about even if it meant that she didn't like him back. Sakura's love for Sasuke, on the other hand, is all about how it makes her feel. It never takes into account for Sakura wanting Sasuke to be happy, what she always worries about is how Sasuke's situation affects her personally.

Sakura isn't thinking "Sasuke is evil, he most be suffering", she's thinking "Sasuke is evil, that makes me feel sad". There's a big difference between those.

Friendship sure, but romance? No. Like I said, that would be hypocritical of me if I shipped SasuKarin when he tried to kill both of them in cold blood. I can't excuse that. At least not for a romantic relationship.

It doesn't matter if it's friendship or romance, the redemption of a characters still holds. Don't think of it in terms of realism, in real life no one would forgive Sasuke's actions and he'd probably have to stand trial.

If Sakura decided that she didn't want to be with a redeemed Sasuke just because he was previously evil, then people would say that if he had remained good that Sakura would've never even considered Naruto as a romantic option. Therefore saying Naruto was always the silver medal.

The fact that he tried to kill her shouldn't even be taken into account in Sakura's reasons to reject her love for Sasuke. The reason her confession with Naruto went so wrong was because she kept stating how Sasuke pushed her away. No one wants to hear a confession where the reason they choose you is because another person pushed them away, you'll always have that "What if they weren't pushed away? Would they still love me?" hanging in your head.

Just because Sasuke tried to kill the girls I won't dismiss their desires of love, just the same way I won't dismiss Naruto's desire for friendship. Love is not above friendship when it comes to the difficulty of forgiveness, they are equally accepting.

I believed Kishi has staged this as the final outcome to sever all ties with SS. For him to try and kill Karin, and later being portrayed as a guy who seemed to suddenly take interest in Karins heritage is what I have predicted a long time ago. This is for all or nothing. Will Sasuke actually opened up to Karin because she's an Uzumaki? Because i looks like Karin's out to kill him. Maybe a role reversal where it's Sasuke's turn to play hard to get

Huh? All we've seen just the opposite from Karin. Karin still has romantic feelings for Sasuke and the last we saw of her true feelings (the fangirling to escape was an act, but if her feelings had been the complete opposite the overblown act wouldn't have worked at all) she was begging Sasuke not to try to kill Sakura, to not go even further into the darkness, then wondering why she was still trying to stop him, and wondering if she should give up on him. That's walking away, not trying to kill him) I'm curious where the idea Karin is out to kill Sasuke is from- there was one other person here that said that but it's not in the manga, Kishimoto's interviews or even the anime adaption. Do you remember where you heard it? I'm just curious.

I'm wondering why they are speculating that though... there's nothing that points to that, just the opposite actually from what has been in the manga. Got distracted by the Olympics coverage last night and stayed up too late, haven't looked at those sentences yet. But I will today. Movie thread got closed and it looks like they don't want us to open another one on it. I'm hesitant to post anything connected to that topic, because all it seems to do is trigger arguments...

That thread is closed. Do Not attempt to resurrect it anywhere else on the board for any reason. Do not compund the problem by attempting to side step that closure. The Team has limited patience right now, and if I see a similar argument break out somewhere else on the board over RtN, I'm banning the offenders.

We are all aware of that. I tried to prevent the argument, I really do, but it was hard to do it alone. I was hoping they would cool for a bit, but it was too late.

I'm new to this "Closed Topic", But I do think we should have another try, because there were people that was talking about the movie. We just have a new video and we were talking about that. We were going to display more information on the movie, but since it's closed and we can't make another topic, it is sad for a lot of us who still cares about the movie. I am for one do care about the movie. This situation is like if one trouble happen, the whole group goes down. Like a bully student in a 20 students classroom, he/she caused trouble, everyone within the class are in detention. Basically, innocents are victimized and they shouldn't receive this punishment.

I can't tell to do you job, but all we asking is another chance and we will maintain control. This is a lesson for all of us. Now, we can be in our best.

I'm aware of she still haves feelings for Sasuke and all you stated. But what I meant she's out to kill Sasuke is something Sakura has been doing to Naruto since the beginning of the manga because of the comical role. I expect Karin's to be a little more drama than humor. After all, she's a true Tsundere just like Sakura

What madness has happen here since i was out debating on a pairing gainst the NH and SS fanbases Still, I don't see how NS shippers could be fighting among themselves.

You're both wrong.

We have been closing a thread about once a week all summer because people can't quit fighting. We are sick of it. That is not the first time that thread blew up over that same damn issue.

We would like time to finish putting out the current fire before another starts. By venturing into a topic that has had multiple blowups since it's creation, I would have, to, on some level, trust the members not get into a fight again.

Right now, I don't.

The topic is not forever banned, but I think it a bit absurd that we would allow continued discussion of a topic that had a major thread closure after seven pages of fighting in another thread less than 24 hours later, especially when some of the people involved in the previous argument are posting on the subject now.

Is it really too much to ask that you guys refrain from that topic until we are dealing with the mess that it just helped create?

Do you think this is one single incident? Do you think this is just a 'select few' people? Do you think we don't already warn and ban members who continue to disrupt the threads?

This disruptive behaviour has been going on for weeks now. It was bad enough when it was just one or two people. But as the weeks have progressed and more topics exploded, more 'innocent people' jumped in and piled onto the drama and antagonistic posts. We aren't a day school here. We shouldn't have to constantly be monitoring every little thing every person says. You all should be more than grown up that when you see a situation escalating, you either alert a mod to come step in...after all that's what the Report button is there for...or you step back from the situation and not get involved in the ensuing drama.

But that is not what has been happening. One person says something that is unnecessary, someone else responds in kind, then 5 others jump in and the whole thread goes to hell in a hand basket. If it happened once or twice we wouldn't have started to move so swiftly to close threads once the meltdown has started. But it has been happening over...and over...and over again, and we are quite frankly beyond sick and tired of the childish, rude, unnecessary behavior of quite a number of members on this forum. Some members who have been here for years and should know better.

We have been incredibly lenient for quite a while now. Years in fact. So much so it seems unfortunately that many of you, including the same older members who really should know better, have become increasingly spoiled. Many other forums would probably have outright banned many of the thread-derailment offenders, and be done with it. But we here at H&E tried to give you all many many chances to show us that you didn't need to be treated like children, who constantly needed to be monitored. And for many years it has worked as a fairly decent system.

Not anymore.

With this past year a seed of thought seems to have taken root and grown almost overnight, where many of you believe that it's 'okay' to act up, misbehave, and take entire threads down with you because the Mods will just 'let it happen'. Sorry, that's not how things work around here. We don't outright ban some of you, though a number of you really would have been banned looong ago on another forum. We're still trying to work with many of you and give you a chance, and part of that is having to close a thread when it has been derailed as badly as the Road to Ninja thread was.

The thread won't remain closed forever. We know and understand that it's the current most popular thread. But there were 7, count that seven, pages of back-and-forth b*tching and arguing, and the Kages and Mods need time to sort through all the mess, so we know who needs to be disciplined and who was involved but not in the worst way.

Is it not possible for you all to be patient during this time? To give us a little bit of patience while we work hard for your benefit to clear up this latest mess, and make sure that the troublemakers don't cause something like this to happen again? Is this such an arduous and impossible task to ask of you all?

Okay, I understand. I have no grudge with anyone, even the one that started the incident. We're sorry for giving you guys a hard time. I know I am. I can wait. I just hope when the time comes, none of us will break any rules.

Yes, the past few weeks have been extremely trying on the mod team. We've had to shut down several topics because of arguments getting out of hand, and of course we all meet up to decide what action should be taken, if any.

We moderators are all human beings with full time jobs, and we mod here in our spare time simply because we're huge fans of Naruto and NaruSaku. We just want people to enjoy posting here and get excited about all things Naruto/NaruSaku, and the arguing just spoils the atmosphere. It IS possible to debate without resorting to insults, disrespectful comments, or memes. I used to debate for NaruSaku on the NarutoFan forums, and I had many debates with SasuSaku and NaruHina fans - and the debate was almost always respectful and interesting!

If I could debate with rival fandoms without anyone resorting to disrespectful behaviour, surely NaruSaku fans can have clean and interesting debates with each other?

So, it has been very draining to see all the recent problems here, and the moderators are having to juggle full time jobs, family, AND dealing with arguments here. We're human, and this cannot last. We've decided that we will be stricter on moderating, and I will post an announcement very soon to detail what will be happening. We're not looking to punish the community, we just want to help improve the atmosphere and help people feel good about posting here on H&E!

We have exciting things coming soon for H&E, but they can only do so much. What we really need is for every single one of you here to help make H&E feel like a great place to post and relax in.
