Seems like they're trying to downplay the -chan meaning.
They are doing everything in their power to destroy NS the thing is the manga is always there for people to go back and use it.

This on the other hand has nothing but stupidity written all over it. It brakes logic, sense, the manga, the characters, the lore, the messages, the morals, development, bonds, writing, common sense, it insults our intelligence and our memories.
All of one insignificant side character because some jackasses love her and want to see her succeed in ending up with someone that never loved her or had any interest in her. But hey the side character is more important than the main character so of course she wins.
God I wish I could meet whoever thought this would be a great idea so I can punch him as hard as I can.
