Here's something I noticed.

Remember, the last confrontation between Naruto and Sasuke. I just noticed that Sakura AND Karin know the whole ordeal between them. This gives me a thought. We don't know when and where Karin is going to, but I feel like Kishi is truly setting up the final battle between them. Like all the buildup will be big. If Karin is going to Sasuke, then I can see them talking to each other one last time before the final battle. Sakura will be covering for Naruto, which most likely be a bigger conversation. It's a prediction of course, but I can see it happening. Karin and Sakura are the only kunoichis that knows about the clash between them. Not to mention, Sasuke is getting his team back. Well, not his doing, but they come to him. Also, the Uzumaki really put her above the rest of the team, excluding Sasuke. If you noticed, Karin seems to be the only getting the development out of all the team. So yeah, thought?

It's hard for me to see that because Sakura did somewhat save her life from Sasuke, but we shall see.

She did save Karin's life, but the fact that Karin is heading back to Sasuke will be a conflicting issues. Sasuke, right now, is at the calm moment, so it's a good time for her to lash on him. Kishi saves her last to meet up with Sasuke. It only creates suspense to see how she will react with Sasuke. Also, Sasuke now knows that Karin is an Uzumaki, which shook him in a surprise. Kabuto was taunting him about him having a good team and now they're gone. Now, everyone is coming back together. The team can provide one part of the answer for Sasuke: bonds. Right now, his team doesn't want to admit that they actually care for each other as friends, but the Killerbee battle clearly show that they all cared. Even Suigitsu was like "I can't believe I'm doing this" when he defended the bijuu blast. Sasuke is slowly transferring his old bonds to the new team.

As of now, I don't see Team Taka getting killed off at all. Kishi has many times to do so, but now, it doesn't look like it at all. They sure advertised his team a lot in merchandise and even have its own cover. Btw, funny thought, but I didn't know Sasuke smile during his time with Suigitsu when they're at the Great Naruto Bridge. Weird.

There's your suspense. Kishi did his job. Now we just have to wait. It will be a drama piece of them, that's for sure. The interesting part is how she feels about Sasuke right now. Does it mean it has to start over for them to be friends again? Time will tell.

If Karin still loves Sasuke than I can see SasuKarin becoming canon (If Sasuke does not die at the end).

I think that Karin might actually be planning some sort of revenge against Sasuke. She might join up with Taka again, but only in order to get closer to Sasuke. Then, when the time is right, she betrays and stabs him just like he betrayed and stabbed her.

But then she realizes that she still has some romantic feelings left for him and then Sasuke survives (somehow) and as it turns out, he's so impressed with Karin for daring to backstab him that he suddenly falls in love with her.

yea.....its surprising that sasuke didnt leave karin when the black fire(cant spell it) got her and Bee.
even jugo told him to leave her, but he still went out of his way to try and rescue her.

.....i mean sure he did the same for sakura (to a lower extent) but this is when he was semi-crazy!

I felt like this question would never be answered, but then I remember the flashback where Karin developed her crush for Sasuke when they were younger even though there were no hints whatsoever that that happened back then.

Wouldn't it be interesting if someday, Kishi, the King of Flashbacks, has a small rewind of when Naruto fell for Sakura? It had to be when they were younger, before the original introduction of the manga. And we know they kinda all went to school together and whatnot. I just wonder how they first met and what was it like. Maybe it was before Sakura turned into a Sasuke fanboy?

Then again, when I write it out, it makes it seem more unlikely that this can ever come to be, so I guess it'll always be left to fanfiction. *sigh*


Also, I just wanted to say, could everyone use something other than mangareader when referencing manga pages? I can never see anything. It's a hassle to go to a manga reading website and look for the exact page, especially if the exact page is never specified, so the debate is lost to me.

unfortunately it is probably the fastest and easiest Batoto (my aggregate site of choice) groups the early chapters in volume so you have hundreds of pages to look through to find one specific page.

Why does this seem less likely than the other flashbacks we've been given? Like you said, Kishi loves to use flashbacks in his stories, he has used them MANY, MANY times throughout his story. Especially in the war arc, even when they didn't seem necessary. We been given a flashback of how Karin got a crush on Sasuke, how Naruto and Sasuke first met, how Sakura and Ino became friends and later rivals, etc....

So far we haven't seen how Naruto first developed his crush on Sakura, all this time we just assume is because he thought she was pretty. That's probably true, but was there any other factors that played into it, was there something else he saw in her that he like? The same could be said about Sakura's crush on Sasuke, but that's safer to assume that it was purely for shallow reasons.

I see a flashback like that happening either when they have a mutual moment together, recollecting their time together (nothing too romantic, of course, it's still Naruto), or when Naruto confesses to her, and tells her how he originally felt about her. Neither may not happen though, and, like you said, a flashback between the two may never happen. But I don't think it is as unlikely as you say it is, because if any of us really expect them to get together, then it's not that far off to assume they will have moment together, and seeing flashbacks are quite common in the series, it doesn't seem that far off either to assume that a flashback of them first meeting may happen.

you know it's kind of ironic that back when the thread about "what if hinata was a yandere" was posted almost everyone thought it wouldn't happen yet it happened in the form of AU hinata lol. and i can't believe how epic that movie is gonna be with all the narusaku moments and with sakura being all shannaro!! i really want to see that movie.

is there anything we havent discussed yet? if you think of something then post it. for now im wondering, just how much sasukarin develoupment has there been? from what ive seen the only thing he`s done was treat her like a comrade for a short period of time. isnt that exactly what happened with sakura? im finding it difficult for them to be lovers after the whole incident with danzo and the fact that he wasnt planning on only killing danzo but karin as well. if saasuke had intended to save her after that incident then id take this alot more seriously

I myself am going to recap and see what I think about it.

Edit: Crazy thought. Uzumaki clan was slaughtered or not? If so, wow, I wonder if they can talk about that. That is one way for Sasuke to learn about Uzumaki, let alone Karin and Naruto.

I seriously don't have anything against murder attempts when it comes to fiction.

There's a lot of stories where someone tries to kill another but in the end they become friends, it's really kind of standard in many stories. If I said that Sakura shouldn't care about Sasuke because he tried to kill her, then I should be saying that Naruto shouldn't care about him either.

Even before Sasuke turned evil Sakura's love for him wasn't portrayed as good as Naruto's love was for her. Naruto's number one priority is to see how he can make Sakura happy, seeing her smile is all that he cares about even if it meant that she didn't like him back. Sakura's love for Sasuke, on the other hand, is all about how it makes her feel. It never takes into account for Sakura wanting Sasuke to be happy, what she always worries about is how Sasuke's situation affects her personally.

Sakura isn't thinking "Sasuke is evil, he most be suffering", she's thinking "Sasuke is evil, that makes me feel sad". There's a big difference between those.

karin/sakura was betrayed and almost murdered by sasuke. even though sasuke considered karin/sakura to be a comrade for a while he ultimitely had no feelings for her. i think kishi is sending a message that sasuke simply cannot be romantic while hes on the path of evil
