After reading all the info we got in the past and these recent interviews it's clear that SP was the main factor in destroying the romance part, which also affected non-romantic plots of the manga. They started destroying the canon stories with their bias for oppai secondary character in those fillers AND canon anime 166 was it?

It seems to me like the success of the series is thanks to that first editor of naruto manga. When the guy left the story started to degrade until it turned to utter bullsh**. It's clear when your read these recent interviews that hiretsu-kun is quite an incompetent writer. The dude doesn't know kitten what he writes about. And if it wasn't for that editor and assistant who wrote that novel about Gutsy Ninja / Blood Prison (and other editors/people he mentioned helped him with some ideas) I don't think this series would be as successful as it is.

Just look at the retcon that is the last! If what hiretsu-kun says is true and he was rewriting parts of script and supervising it then it just shows what a terrible writer he is! Don't give this guy too much credit.

I totally agree, after all the interviews and everything else, I firmly believe that Kishimoto is just a mediocre writer and it's all thanks to his first editors that the serie became such a success.

 

It's clear now when you think back when Kishimoto even admit that he didn't know how to defeat Madara, that show just how much he doesn't even know how to write at all.

 

so thank you first editor for making Naruto a real story, too bad that you didn't stay but I understand why you left, considering that you had to work with such incompetence.

Sometime ago someone on this forum made a psychological post about Kishi being easily influenced by others due to starting his sentances in public with "I think".

 

Even in this interview he speaks about his editors. And it seams they always won the argument against Kishi. Remember his line "You say Hinata Hinata, I say she is not Hinata"? It seams his editors/assitants were always pro Hinata. The story was very good up untill Pein. Because the old editor was still there. But that just shows even more how Kishi is a weak person. His current editors/assistants could have easily lied to Kishi about popolarity. Because what Kishi said in this interview makes no sense (we have sources from Japan confirming this). 

 

If Kishi had any self confidence and a backbone. Imo the story would be much different! He could have folloed the example from old editor with twists here and there. But the story would be much better. Something happened behind closed doors when we got that info about Naruto ending in 5 chapters!

Up untill the Pein we had the old editor. Who actualy knew what he was doing! Then he left and new ones took his place. And story was worse and worse untill it culminated in 699/700!

 

Kishi is a weak person in the end!

Dunno the real reason, wish I knew but in my head it's because he was tired of Kishi's incompetence and he was tired of working and giving his hard work to this kitten writer.

 

That's a good enough reason for me anyway.
