I think the fact that Naruto is in aweeeee by Sakura  for everything she does and blushes while seeing her and smiling constantly at her  so I don't see Hinata in this picture at all since for Naruto Sakura is the amazing one there is no such statements or actions  from Naruto to Hinata so I would say putting Hinata in here is overreaching she just doesn't fit by Naruto's views  . Besides that isn't it kind of a DB for trowing out all the similarities between Kushina and Sakura  even without those Naruto loves Sakura for who she is  and Sakura has been truly a good person from the bottom of her hart there is nothing in this manga that points otherwise but on the contrary it only reinforces it , bc we have seen her care and protectiveness of others and compassion she's like Naruto in here so I don't see anything that would make Naruto rethink of changing his feeling for Sakura base on this in fact it would reinforce it .    

 

But I would say this should be enough to trow Hinata out .

631 is more proof of that when he gives her that peaceful smile of his he was like "That's the Sakura Chan I love" you know , and he loves that side of Sakura he's proud of her for that and loves her for that really Hinata just doesn't feet in here at all .

Savannah101@ I never said anything about killing Hinata off. He won't kill anyone from the rookies as a way of showing the next generation. I meant he can leave her with a crush on Naruto even when he has gotten together with Sakura. She's not important to the story he can make an epilogue showing the important characters (team 7) and leave the rest out because they don't matter.

What I meant was, if NH was officially dead, Hinata would've died instead of Neji. Kishimoto kept Hinata alive to drag on the pairing wars. As long as Hinata is still alive, NH has a chance. Of course Naruto could just flat out reject her though.

I might be one of the few NS shippers out there who like SS a lot too. Not USED TO like. I like it right now. Because it is complicated and emotional. I started as a SS shippper, but reoriented at NS when the latter ship got more interesting developments in the very end of the part 1. My choice became solid after the timeskip. But I actually thought that SS was way more meaningful and complex in part 1. NS captured my heart because of Sakura and Naruto's awesome synergy. It is hard for me to imagine Sasuke interacting with Sakura on a daily romantic\family basis. They are just so different in temper and outlook on the world. I don't even know what they would talk about, though talking isn't considered important in a relationship in the Japanese culture. I also don't want to see Sakura turn into a baby factory for the sake of ressurection of Sasuke's clan. Sasuke definitely needs a harem for that. Or at least several consecutive wives.

 

What I am saying is that I do actually enjoy SS moments. At least I could.

I would actually love to see Sakura hug Sasuke like she did in part 1. I like their bond and I would like them to remain close forever. I like that she means more to him than any other girl he ever met. I would love to see that he might have some feelings towards her, but just chooses not to act upon them. But I can only accept and enjoy this if it doesn't change Sakura's movement towards Naruto, her falling in love with him. Because Naruto is just better for her and they understand each other much more. I am very dissapointed that Kishi never gave us solid hints that Sakura has strong feelings for Naruto and sees him as a potential lover. Such hints could more or less secure NS in the canon and I could enjoy SS scenes with a relaxed heart. But now it always feels like a survival game. Every new SS moment is an argument against my favorite pairing and a step away from it becoming canon. And this is not inevitable, it's Kishi's writing. I just can't enjoy SS scenes any more, because it feels like a real threat. I mean, we have like 10 chapters till the end of the manga and we still technically have Sakura more or less hung up on Sasuke, even if it is VERY shaky. Every little moment they share may singnal that her feelings are rekindling. And I don't want that.

 

 And I do think that we all could enjoy SS a lot if only Kishi didn't drag the uncertainty of Team 7 love triangle out so much. It is good to have some tension and uncertainty, but all I see now is that the most probable and developed pairing (NS) is the least declared (no confessions and solid romantic interactions).
