Here's what I've been thinking. In the last chapter (692) we actually got a very strong Naruto's statement about his mother.

It seems that during his fight his perception of Kushina centered on the idea that she was a very good/kind person. Like a main attribute. That might actually undermine the rest attributes like being tsundere, beautiful and protective (etc). Could it be that this advanced perception was an actual reason (or one of the reasons) he acted like he did in chapter 691, when he didn't state the girls name. If his perception of his mother became more complex, his task to define "the one" might have also became a more complex one.
What I am trying to say is that Naruto could actually redefine the idea of an ideal woman to himself. And it is just natural that he would not make his decision based on overall similarity (that was mentioned many times between Kushina and Sakura based on their character).
So is Sakura percieved by Naruto as a truly kind person? Do we have such canon statements in the manga? Do we have any for Hinata? (Mecha Naruto was screaming how kind and truly good she was the whole Ninjastorm game but that is not canon).
I remember this one recent scene, though its Kakashi's POV.

P.S. I also remembered that Kishimoto's father has passed away not too long ago. 691 must have been a very emotional chapter for Kishimoto to draw. Since it is a farewell to a father,
