Yeah, that probably before the game release. The best you can get is well, I guess Naruto thanking Hinata to recruit help though I believe it was Kiba pretty much said they would still help him regardless of the case. But if anything, it's just Mecha doing the "moment" which btw he saw her first and just shift love, rather than programmed to love her because that's what Naruto would do. Nope. So yeah...I bet they didn't think Sakura would get jealous of Hinata to be with Naruto would happen.

Well I was only describing the game part. They have a scene where Naruto was swapped with Mecha and Sakura doesn't know what's going on along with all others. Hinata only knew because she was with Mecha and Naruto before many stuff happened, so Sakura didn't like the fact she was with Naruto all this time, she got jealous and Naruto didn't understand what's going on. Ino caught on and before she says it, Sakura stopped her.

Yeah, Sakura won't like that at all. Nobody takes away her Naruto. This is how she will react...

This post seems to suggest that you really like Sakura and really dislike Sasuke. The addition of smileys is somewhat unsettling however.

 

Regardless, I think it would be insulting to the fight if it ended up being decided by some new force entering the fray.

Well, I've watched the game (Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution) walkthrough and it is pretty much all NH in the mecha-story, but it was very clearly a portion of fanservice. They never crossed any lines balancing on the same territory of Naruto 'just caring and being friendly", but adding some spice by putting Hinata almost in the center of the plot and Mecha-naruto being totally into Hinata (Naruto never expressed jealousy though). It is funny, because Naruto actually acted like Hinata was annoying and slow in couple of moments in the begining (like her explaining a mission or giving out dolls), while Mecha-Naruto was very happy to hear everything she said. It only underlined the difference between Naruto and Mecha. It was also mostly forced interaction like Naruto insisting on following Hinata on a boring delivery mission for no reason. NH would say that Naruto did this because he wanted to spend some time with his new crush, but we've never seen anything like this in the manga and it felt very forced and unnatural. I mean, they could at least have given them a good common cause to end up together in Mecha-Naruto's landing spot. 

It was very clear that NH was specifically put in the center, because of the last scene where they were shown interacting while everyone smiled at them. The last picture was of Naruto and Hinata in the center of the screen, while the rest of the team was going ahead.

I would actually feel worse about this game if NH was implanted subtly into it, meaningfully. But it was planted plainly and obviously in the center like one of the main (or main) reasons for this game mode to even exist. We were forcefully handed "a bunch of NH interactions", no matter realistic or not. That made it look very much like a bad filler episode with no real ambitions, but sole fanservice purposes. There was not much deep in NH interactions, Hinata plainly got all wise and understanding lines. They underlined that she knows Naruto's character very well, being able to predict every thought and wish of his. Too bad this doesn't really show in the manga (lol). At the same time they didn't go far enough to put Hinata's character on top of Sakura's as the latter also got quite a few subtle moments, where she accepted Naruto's choices and recognized him as well. I'd say that Sakura looked as the heroine, who observes a little sidestory from the sidelines and doesn't feel threatened one bit, because the focus will return at her in no time. In the end Sakura was the one to get to Naruto's awakening body first with Hinata strangely running with the main group in the back (there was no reason why Hinata couldn't reach Naruto first) and they shared a couple of sweet "happy ending" lines and glances before the final scene with Hinata took place. Nothing obviously romantic with Sakura, of course, just as with Hinata. It was also fun to see that NH got such a big part in such a ridiculous plot.

Overall the plot was just crazy and boring (maybe also one of the reasons a pairing is so emphasized - to make it at least somewhat worth playing).

This line - "Until I was slapped in the face with the truth". Because this is how love dawns on you. Your great friend dies and you get slapped. That's when you understand how real love feels - like a slap apparently. Now lets propose a date as arrogantly as possible!
Great job to make a tragic and inspirational moment into a "love realization". Because not much material to pick from.

Not to mention the "kun" suffix is actually used to address someone you don't know much or arent confortable being it.Naruto always uses "chan" suffix on Sakura which in Japanese culture is used to descrive lovers.Sakura also NEVER calls Naruto using "kun" .Ironically Hinata also addresses Naruto using "kun"

 

I find it highly suspicious that Kishi goes through so much trouble that Naruto and Sakura always use the chan suffix and Naruto never uses it on Hinata

I love it when in NH fanart/fanfic Naruto calls Hinata "Hinata-chan." Pretty much admitting that the "chan" suffix means something and is special. Yet they claim Naruto doesn't have any feelings for Sakura...

It has already been explained in the manga by Kishi himself that it has no meaning or romantic undertones in fact it was explained that it has the opposite effect  , by using that suffix on that person means that you are emotionally distant from that said person in short that you are not that close with that said person . While the Chan suffix or using no suffix at all  has the opposite effect which means you are free around that person and feel him as very close in some cases more so with the Chan bc it's a sign of endearment. We have literary beaten this horse to the death so I don't know what's the problem  .

As far as I have understand Chan can also be used for lovers or someone you love romantically but that's not the point . But either way the importance of the suffix in the manga has been already explained  by Kishimoto himself  and if you have read it then I'm not sure why are you bothered with the Kun stuff  when by Kishimoto's words it means Sasuke is emotionally distant to her and as long as the Kun remains that emotional barrier will remain in the end what is said in the manga is what matters the most when it comes to this things .
