Not in those sketches. Sakura looked okay on her debut sketch, but the rest of her are downright... uh... not good and wasn't pretty enough. Hell, Kishi drew her giving a boyish-like smirk. And her hair... it was suppose to be long (as in long, pass her shoulders, like from her anime debut). Here, it's short and weird looking.

But that goes for the rest of the cast and the manga in the early days.

Your telling me she's note cute? Come on look at all those pictures, she looks good. Also just a side note, but I hope you recognize and enjoy those pictures cause they are all Narusaku.

Again Viz did some odd things with their translation and made another omission (as well as adding a bit that wasn't there at all to replace their omission) too.

Point to remember, Kishimoto wrote this note around the time he would have been starting to write the first of the Chunin Exams chapters- he was pointing out how much Sakura's character had already changed before the Chunin Exams arc even started.

Sakura may not be pretty compared to other female characters but she is pretty enough. It only shows that she is a normal girl and not like those typical over the top cute with Z size boobs. I think this feature make her more realistic and natural. People would appreciate her character more.

Thats the anime though and those manga pics are in part II where Kishimoto's drawing style has become much better and its noticeable we're talking about early in the manga part one she didn't look bad but I find she is much prettier and cuter now. having her hair grow out again would be nice too, not that her short hair style is bad It really looks good honestly, just long hair has my preference thats just me and I also like her strong personality, making her like Hinata is just generic stereotyping and thats NOT cool, also boring and sexist

I just watched Naruto episodes 140 and 141 and even though they are filler ( I think) both episodes are filled with Narusaku moments.

Naruto blocks an attack saving Sakura's life, Sakura cries on top of Naruto when she thinks he's dead, Naruto take a giant claw sword to the back for her, Naruto pushed her out of the way of an attack, Naruto tells Sakura to not throw her life away, Naruto saves Sakura from falling rocks by jumping on top of her, Sakura says she had to rely on Naruto, Naruto tell her that without her he would have given up. Amen

It is filler, but it's arguably the best filler in the part 1 series (perhaps part 2 as well), because the characters are, for the most part, completely in character, not OOC or aspects of their personalities are over/downplayed (e.g Naruto made to look more like an idiot than usual, and Sakura's violent streak taken to new levels etc.) It follows right after the Sasuke fight at VotE, and it fit in well, unlike the other arcs where they were just killing time to give Kishimoto chance to progress further into the story so the anime didn't catch up.

Yea they fit in so perfectly, that's even the episode when Sakura ask tusande to train under her. Great two episodes.
Does anyone know the manga chapters when Naruto flies in to save Sakura from sasuke?

It hasn't reached that far yet be patient and as for that love letter scene in the new chapter i can't imagine Sakura meaning anyone else when she said she has some one else Sasuke is definitely out of the question Now for anyone that doesn't know what i'm talking about in the new chapter Sakura makes an admirer from from one of her patients during the war the guy gave her a love letter but she curtly turns him down saying " thank you... but there's someone else I..." much to his disappointment smiles widely* GET IT NOW? but hey I'm pretty sure that minor character should've been able to tell he's OUT of his league

First off, I have to give you props on the smile's you add, you fit them in perfect , I wish I had that skill lol.

Secondly WOW nice that sounds sweet. She has to mean Naruto...right? I hope so.
Btw what do you mean it hasn't happened yet? I thought Naruto saved Sakura from sasuke already?

Also I watched the confession scene and I started to have some doubts again, of course the onslaught of Nh pushers and NS haters really gave me a hard time.
After seeing this thing about the letter, I feel more confident.

So it's save not be worried about the confession and its "hidden meanings" cause let me tell you re watching that really hurt. I mean she kept mentioning sasuke, Naruto had to shake her off and say he hates liars (in a sense).

Also I want to had that I have never seen so many haters of a pairing that just seems so perfect, I mean they are the major characters and yet people hate on them so much, I really can't believe it.

Yeap I read some of the chapter 539 discussions on other forums and some of them instantly mentioned Sasuke. I guess people would think Sakura is still in love with Sasuke if they don't really give the whole situation much thought. Basically those people who don't give a damn about Sakura and took everything at face value. Hence they dont even think about Sakura's developing feelings and just having her as Sasuke's fangirl tattooed on their mind. Much like Naruto during her confession actually.
