So I was overhearing a conversation while I was walking out of class about IchiRuki and Ichiheme not only would really care, atleast until I heard this "IchiRuki is disgusting and they have no chemistry" and "Ichigo cares so much for Orhimes and she does the same for him plus she's got huge kittens so why wouldn't he.."


Okay look I ship IchiRuki and I'm proud to say that.. I'm never going to say Ichiheme is a pile of kitten compared to IchiRuki cause I can somewhat see it.. The only thing that would make me despise Is if it comes down to a love story being like The Last was for NH!!

Second: Ichigo should get with Orhime because she's got huge kittens "ugh what?? We're stooping that low!! That's the same thing I heard about Hinata and that's what got really frustrating when peeps brought that up in arguments".

Plus (wow I sound like my cousin now). Orhime has feelings for Ichigo that is true.. But what about Ichigo he doesn't think of her in that context.. Let's take a look at the Arrancar Arc when he was heading to save Orhime what happened when he sensed Rukia's spiritual pressure getting dropped.. What exactly did he do?? He went to straight to Rukia.. not to mention that Ichigo has stated Rukia was the one that stopped the Rain for Ichigo! And Orhime even stated in the Arrancar arc that "to Ichigo Rukia is more than just a friend"


Sorry for any Ichiheme fans that's reading my post I just need to get this off my chest cause it really annoyed me once I heard that Ichigo should be with Orihime because she has big kittens, and Ichigo cares about her so much than any other character!"


That aside, what do you think Ichigo's new Bankai will look like??

IchiRuki is a perfectly valid pairing and no less than IchiHime so I don't know what they are talking about. They both have genuine development in one way or another so It is a very pitiful double standard to bash one and praise the other

and like I said before, I can see either one being canon it's not gonna affect me all that much just as long as we don't get The Last treatment!  I have alot of faith that Kubo won't pull some BS like that with either IchiRuki or Ichiheme for the inevitable canon pairing whenever that happens!!

I've already mentioned it in my live reaction, but I wanted to kinda expand upon my little theory if I wasn't very clear on it there: 

 

This might've happened in the Substitute Arc and Soul Society, I can't remember at the top of my head.. However I know when it comes to the Arrancar Arc when Ichigo was dealing with his inner Hollow despair was thriving upon him because he couldn't protect his friends Chad and Orihime.. However then we get the chapter were Rukia completely snaps Ichigo out of his depression like so:

Again I'm not just looking at this as the perspective of a shipper, but as a reoccurring incident and just based on these I know for a fact Rukia will get him on his feet once more just like she's always done in the past. I know there are still a few more, but i wanted to bring up the more important ones in conjunction with this chapter.

 

 

If I stated in my live reaction, then I'll probably say it again  I could see Rukia showing up soon give or take sometime within the next few chapters or when we hit the big 200 chapter milestone for this arc on Chapter 680.

Sorry for coming into the scene after being gone for so looooooooooong but I figured I join the forums again for the fun of it 😋 And plus while I am currently into the bleach story again. Lol

So just wanted to get these off my chest and head for awhile now but I've had two theories building up from the story progression that I wanted to share with you guys and get your thoughts on them....

1: Ywach bringing back Ichigo's mother to drive him into deeper despair and make her finish ichigo instead of Ywach doing the job himself just to enjoy it.

2: Rukia saving ichigo from despair and face Ywach herself to give ichigo his determination back while orihime fixes ichigo's bankai

I don't think 2 is feasible. Rukia will most definitely show up and fight, but with this chapter, Orihime has lost any semblance of relevancy in this fight. Her barrier is useless. It's not like It would have stopped Ywach in the first place if he was approaching it seriously. He could easily break it. Instead, he doesn't even need to try to break it, because to him it doesn't exist. He got around it by changing the future, her power doesn't exist in his world. Second, she can't restore his bankai without reforging the blade. If she could, then Ichigo would have never had to go to the palace in the first place.

Alright.......but what if Rukia had something that could help her contend with Ywach? Something a long time ago was planned to use to help destroy the soul King himself? Something that she herself had a "connection" to in the beginning of bleach because of urahara....

I  completely agree with you there when it comes to Orihime because like you said if you could restore Ichigo's Bankai then not only would Ichigo go to the Soul Palace, but it would've made that entire part of the arc completely pointless. 

 

 

It is gonna be interesting to see how Ichigo gets his zanpakto reforged once more.. 

 

 

Also I've seen alot of people get pissed when it comes to this chapter because Kubo trolled everyone, and I think it was a good thing that Kubo did what he did in this chapter because it shows that Ichigo is still not ready to take out the Soul King plus he stated that he hasn't mastered any of his new skills yet so thats something I could see happening when it comes to Ishin and since Ryuken is there to I believe he'll train Uruyu to get stronger as well.  The other benefit in having this outcome is to close out some plot points in the story like Ginjou and the other FullBringers it's been literally a 160 chapters since they made their appearance (minus Riruka and Yukio). Actually I also see Ichigo and Uruyu training their possibily the deminsion they were in when Riruka and Yukio first showed up in this arc. But first thing is first Rukia is about to make her way to Ichigo now whether thats next chapter or chapter after is something we're gonna have to wait and see. One thing is for sure though whatever Rukia has to say to Ichigo coming up it's gonna be a big one since she always lifts his spirit and gets rid of his despair.

Yeah but what if this time Rukia takes action to lift his despair instead of giving him words to encourage him up. We've only been shown Rukia lifting ichigo's spirits by mere words alone but never with a pure action such as defending him or showing him that "If she can do it, so can he" type of scenario.

Only reason why I'm obsessed with idea of Rukia fighting Ywach to help and save ichigo from his despair is because of this page

Why mention Rukia's name with ichigo when it came to the fight against Ywach? We the readers know of Rukia's capabilities and know that it's not a match against Ywach at the moment, but urahara has always been "the man with a plan" and wouldn't just say out Rukia's name unless for a reason?

So the big question is "How can she stand up against Ywach along side ichigo?"

Well, perhaps that Bankai of hers could go full power since it was hinted that it was only in early start when used the first time. I know it will be an asspull to get it done already but it's Bleach, so why the hell not.

Honestly the bankai design reminds me too much of his original Shikai giant cleaver sword, and plus it's hard for me to believe that kubo would get rid of Ichigo's bankai design (Black long coat/black katana) for just this...

Also I kind of had a feeling this would happen but I expected Ywach to steal the bankai, rather then breaking it lol
