Yes, it was never off the air in Japan as far as I know. What are you talking about Toonami? If yes. Context. Context. The fact that it is back on the air means it likely one of the anime that was on ended so it been put back on to fill that spot. If something popular comes out it will probably be replaced again.

First time for Boruto I believe, but yeah the anime really can't think up original ideas. Kishimoto should of just made the wood style more common

The problem is that Wood Release is one of the three great powers one can have in Naruto: being a demon container, Eye Powers Sharingan-Rinnegan for the manga Byakugan for the anime, and Wood Release. Of course this is because they are the three powers of the main cast....well two; Sakura never got her's.

 

That and Kishimoto not really developing more abilities*; like I said awhile ago eventually during the war arc every new ability shown just became magnet release based powers. Leads to their being only a few powers in Naruto and most of them bring something you are born with or gain young. Their are only nine demons that are all accounted for so they can't use those; though I would say they tried with the Nue in the first arc. The uchiha are all dead save one and Obito and Danzo used up all the dead ones' eyes. kishimoto did give someone else a byakugan but the anime will never harm the perfect being that are the hyuuga...except for the last. So, that leaves Wood Release, which is why it is so overused; despite the fact that orichimaru's experiments shows that it deadly to try and grant this to other people. 

 

*There's really only Elemental Release, seals, demon sealing, genjutsu, taijutsu, healing ninjutsu, few clan special ninjutsu, and kekkei genaki.

Anyone knows why Pierrot hasn't announced a new Black Clover's movie I mean MHA already has 2 or 3 but we don't have news about Black Clover and Boruto. The second one I can find out why but don't get why the second one.

Probably because the animation team is trying to keep pace with the manga while keeping filler to a minimum. Plus, do you honestly want a Black Clover movie from Pierrot, given their record?
