I'm just annoyed at how much credit Hinata was given in 615. It's irksome to think about all of the other characters that have stuck beside Naruto while Hinata is the only one thanked for it. I would have liked to see him thank at least the rest of the K9. As Neji said, there are a lot of people that would sacrifice themselves for Naruto. Not just Hinata. It feels unfair.

Anyway, pairing wise, I feel just fine. Naruto hasn't confirmed having feelings for Hinata, so there's really nothing to be worried about for now. The only reason I'm nervous is because I don't want another bomb dropped on me this week. We dealt with two really big blows. I don't want to deal with another.

Blow number one: Neji's death. That was a blow to the entire fandom. Seriously, who expected Neji to die?
Blow number two: 615. Although the initial reaction was much more severe than it should have been, it was still a blow to NaruSaku.

I would really appreciate not having another hurricane run through the fandom.

You know, I really dislike fan translations because of things like this.
Unfortunately, I have no way of telling if something is mistranslated or not. Unless someone here has access to the RAWs of 615, knows how to translate Japanese to English, and will do so in a non-bias way, I'll have to stick with what the fan translations say. That is, until the official translation is released.

Well, Viz's translators are pretty dependable to say the least. Keep in mind Viz is also Jump Alpha's company. So, if you want a "better" translation, it would be Viz's. Not only that, they're also going to shell out the mangas the same day it hits shelves in Japan starting next week.

A good example of their translation quality would probably be Kushina's infamous speech.

They slightly changed the translation into a more pairing-neutral tone. And that's fine by me. Honestly, as much I would like more points for NS, I think I would rather see more neutral scenes.

So now, we can't say "Hey, Neji and Hinata are the same," which means Hinata can shine. That said yeah let's hope for the best to see something progress. Btw I saw a montage pic from other thread and man, Kishi will look incredibly stupid to kill NS. For the record, I believe there's more, but god, we will be there all day.

I still don't see any possible way of Naruto falling for Hinata. He's just being a comrade.
But, I agree - I hope Kishi manages to save NS.

Well it's not that I'm saying that he has made Naruto fallen in love with Hinata. It's just that one small hint of any NS related will do it all. Pretty much the ball is on Naruto for this moment.

YES. You remembered back in chapter 450? I remember read a so called fan preferred spoiler where They said Naruto rejected Sakura when he came back to the village cause she threw herself on him, walked up to Hinata and gave her the paper bouquet from Konan, and said he will return for her since he has to train somewhere in secret because of oncoming threats, and all the while Hinata was blushing.

I agree, pairings can wait.

If she actually breaks out of her Naruto only based character then I will be impressed. I'm not bashing her character here, but she has not proven otherwise that Naruto is not the very foundation AND only thought process of her mentality, the way I see it. Getting stronger? Because Of Naruto. working harder? Because of Naruto. None of her progression, as I see it has ever not been because of Naruto. Now is this normal and understandable, especially for someone with self esteem issues? Yes. Am I saying she's useless? No. Am I against her character? Not really, since I do like her. It's only that it makes her character bland and linear, so that really blocks me from liking her more.

Too bad I don't have the raw file to ask a friend of mine who knows Japanese to say to me if it was a plural you or a you used only for that specific moment.

If it is like the Pain arc, it will set the freeze the romance for a bit. Wait about ten chapters, I'll sure our time will come when the Juubi is defeated. :3 But Kishi knows both how to rush it, and drag things out, so who knows when it'll be over.
