I can see that the hair pulling scene is another rip-off of Sakura's moment in Part 1.

SP, when are you going to stop copying everything that Sakura has and pasting it on Hinata? This is seriously pathetic. Hinata can't and won't be Sakura no matter what you do.

Yeah This fight is actually one of the few reasons why I didn't sell my copy of Storm 3 because I can go back and re-experience what i enjoyed. The fact that it was the classic part 1 hand to hand combat with basic jutsu was what always drives me to play this game again, and it's crazy because I was probably watching it about 3 or 4 times after I shared it. Even when this game came out I was like if things go down this way in the manga then clearly Kishi knows what he's doing. Of course he managed to prove me wrong about that. 

 

When it comes to the manga part of me just feels Tobi shouldn't have declared war and had a head on fight with Kakashi at the summit and maybe Sakura backing him up to. Wishful thinking yes, but it would've made things a lot more interesting with the manga, but oh well a guy could dream I guess. Yeah had the manga went out OVA style, which I was assuming during the five chapter countdown, then I'd be like it's a good ending however there were things that could've been improved upon. It's been said a million times, but 698 is truly the ending to the real team 7 and everything else that happened throughout the manga.

 

 

Your gonna get a kick out of this, but when Storm 3 first came out last year, Kishi said this "The author shouldn’t be saying this, but this is more exciting than the manga!" 

 

At first I thought he was joking, but now that I'm thinking about it after the sh*tty ending we got to the manga I'm just thinking to myself like could he have been serious when he said that? 

 

 

 

So why Narutos games were having resolution that the manga didn't?

I don't want to tempt fate, but it seems like the scoring as gone back down to 2.84. 

 

Well, no matter what that is still a pretty bad reception to have from audiences. Besides the film has already caused a lot of controversy, so even if it suddenly magically gets better reviews (which is unlikely) that controversy will stick with them. No matter that they do, this film will be remember for the negativity it brought.

O_O That idiot really said this?! He already spouted such unprofessional nonsense back then... I'm looking at the release date of the game, and it was about one and half yrs ago... Also the rating is extremly high. How well is the game received generally among the fans? So to think that this statement is not that old... He must have already envisioned the fight in the manga to be exactly the way it's been portrayed.

We'll see what Ultimate Storm 4 will be like (will you buy it?)...

 

Well the OVA seemed to be a good ending for me before 698 came out. I honestly believed that the ova was some kind of forshadowing. When 698 came out, I knew the ova was pure fanservice. But hey, 698 was awesome, and Kishi outdid himself one last time before he walked down the path of blasphemy and stupidity. I've never seen an author before who goes an up and down in terms of quality like a freaking jojo.

It appears to be that way with the Japanese audience. Pierrot must have anticipated a lukewarm reception ahead of time so they hoodwinked the consumer market by planting false advertisements of favourable characters and through closing off any potential loss of profit with the nonrefundable ticket policy after the pre-purchases were already made. They must be dedicated to their Hinata-centric fanaticism to create a film utterly dedicated to her wish-fulfillment that risks the possibility of becoming a financial and critical failure for the studio. 

 

What I'm concerned about now is the potential reception of The Last in other countries. Sure, we claim that the West gathers much of its anime/manga through piracy, but a legitimate market still exists where fans purchase the DVDs, merchandise, and tickets in support of the studio. And with a multinational release looming on the horizon, Pierrot is bound to garner more in revenue in the future. Releasing the film in enough countries with fandoms more receptive to its premise might be enough to compensate for the shortcomings with fans in Japan. Maybe that's the final objective of the studio.

Why should we care? The Dragonball Budokai Tenkaichi series included characters and plot concepts from GT, but does that make it look any more legitimate in the eyes of fans? No.

Ugh, that Hinata hair pull scene. God, SP really can't give Hinata kitten, without copying Sakura. I mean, they even gave her short hair! Why? For what kittening purpose did Hinata have short hair, other than to prove she's trying, and failing, to become Sakura?

 

I think this is what infuriates me more. The fact that they're trying to turn Hinata into the heroine and push away Sakura, but they're pretty much just copying and pasting Sakura's characteristics and special scenes on her. For kittens sake, they couldn't even come up with an original storyline for this movie, it's just an exact replica of Shion's.

 

I have never seen such a disgrace to animation as SP and I hope people start blacklisting their asses, while Mangaka's refuse to sign contracts with them, so that their manga isn't ruined by SP.
