Oops, deleted. How does that happen?

But yeah, the cast is packing, but they don't seem to be doing much. I believe Oldman's character designs the Robocop unit, Jackson is a TV mogul (I'd buy that for a dollar!) and Haley is playing the person who re-trains Murphy after he becomes Robocop. They'll be great in their roles, but the are so small I wonder why they wouldn't just fill them with unknowns. Let's get some new blood in here. It'd make the budget much smaller for sure.

Oh man, that does seem kinda small, but it's not out yet, so we can't know for sure.

This is all really exciting news! As far as Ben Affleck directing Justice League, I liked The Town- never seen Gone Baby Gone- but the Town was definitely one of my favorites (probably my favorite heist-ish movie). As far as Fantastic Four goes- yes, they really need a redemption; the other two were...meh. I really liked the theme song though, so that's definitely a plus. I also wonder how they're going to do FF4, and if they'll use the same actors because 1. No offense to Jessica Alba, I mean she's got a pretty face but I don't personally like her on the big screen and 2. Chris Evans is Captain America now so that'd kind of be weird, at least for me, for him to be two characters. Anywho, that Robocop cast is really loaded, and I'm excited

This trailer has me super psyched for the movie. If Marvel could have, they should've opted to not have this play before Iron Man 3. Srsly.

Also, the theme is growing on me. I think it's the right sound for this Superman. John William's theme is awesome, but I don't think it would've worked for this Superman. Of note is that both themes have a very similar vibe to the beginning of "Fanfare for the Common Man" by Aaron Copland: a triumphant sound. I really like Hans Zimmer. He's one of my favorite film composers. Admittedly though, Hans' main themes in this new stage in his work is very formulaic in structure: repeated tune, layered build, and a climactic blare. But I think any mainstream composer runs into this in one form or another due to myriad exposure. I still really like his stuff. If it's the right sound, it's the right sound. Jaw's main theme was built from two notes repeated over and over again.

I'm not all that familiar with this film's source material in comic book form, so I don't quite know what to make of the plot other than Jane is in trouble, there's a love triangle between Thor, Jane, and Lady Sif (I choose Lady Sif). And there's a deformed 9th Doctor as a villain who's evil plot is so huge that Thor would call on his brother for help.

Yeah, I've been listening to it non-stop.

Thor... I'm just kind of lukewarm about at the moment.

Also, I can't remember where but I thought I read rumblings of Dr. Strange playing a role in Marvel Phase 3 along with Ant Man. Don't know how they'd do a D. Strange movie though.

Well, I'm glad that if they feel like the movie is to overloaded (which right now it looks that way) that they would move something to the next film. That, hopefully, means she played a bigger role, otherwise if this is simply because they want to play one less actor, then I'm annoyed.

It was amazing but

Somehow my brain kept playing porn music whenever the kryptonians were stripping off their armor or just walking around in only their skintight suits. I swear to drunk that Zod looked like he was doing the hottest form of stripteasing with that intense antigravity thing he was doing. Like seriously, where are all my singles. 

 

Not to mention the whole floating obvious phallic imagery going on. I was the only one in the theatre laughing when the banishment to the phantom zone thing happen. Am I the only one who found that flipping hilarious?
