Either that or they just really hate Sakura enough to not want her to be with anyone. Heck I remember one of the N***H***'s in the pairing debate stating that they thought Sakura didn't deserve any better than Sasuke.

Meh, the NH word and the SS word are dead and rotting. I mean, COME ON. No chance in HELL. And, there will be that nice little timeskip in which Sakura will be away from Sasuke for three years...hmm, I wonder what'll happen during that time?? XD XD XD

I'm personally hoping there will be no Hinata in the next chapter because I know if she appears for ONE panel, the NaruHina fans will be "OMG, Hinata is a MAIN CHARATER!! we told ya so! LOL WTF!"

If she DOES appear, then as long as Naruto and Sakura get the limelight, I'll still be OK.

I do agree, how can some people be so close-minded? I came to love NaruSaku after reading the manga and watching the anime as a NEUTRAL. I noticed how Sakura wilts around Sasuke (hiding behind a mask, trying to please him all the time, not letting herself grow) so SasuSaku was the first relationship I disliked. Sasuke is a pretty-boy jerk. There. Said it.

Then I noticed how Naruto made her feel stronger and happier. I saw how he was EARNING her respect and admiration, and being selfless. That is far better reading than a "default" relationship which just starts off and has little depth.

NaruSaku is quite a deep friendship at the moment, and it is only going to get deeper. SasuSaku has been one-sided. Sasuke basically REJECTED Sakura at Chapter 181! He knows she's had that crush on him for ages, but he's done nothing. If he had one iota of feeling deeper than family for her, he would have thought something - he had all the time in the world. Sasuke and Sakura also have NOTHING in common.

NaruHina is a nice relationship in a way, but it has nowhere near the depth of NaruSaku. All they've had is the Chuunin Exam arc, and Naruto's feelings for Sakura only increased.

I think some people are just way too shallow when they read the manga. From what I read, first impressions and looks count for a lot for those people, they never seem to consider that the characters have depth and can change. A lot of people (read idiots) don't see past Sakura's crush on Sasuke and just think she'll never change and will always treat Naruto badly. They've been wrong since, ooh, the Chuunin Exam.

A few people have said that the love triangle (Girl is in love with cool guy, nice guy loves girl but girl doesn't give him time of day, girl has problems with cool guy and finds nice guy is the one she really loves) is predictable, but I feel it plays out a hell of a lot better than a simple straight line (girl with cool guy, nice guy with shy girl).

Why? Because there's tension, there's conflict. We also want the good guy to win the girl's heart as well.

Personally, I'm hoping that Sakura is shown thinking that she has stronger feelings for Naruto, that she thinks he is BETTER than Sasuke - to blow away any accusations that she's chosen Naruto as a replacement. I'd even be for their dragging Sasuke back to Konoha so he's right there, and Sakura proves she's changed and has opened her eyes.

I began as a NaruSaku fan from the start. (I always love an underdog) but I will admit that I went through a S***S*** (*barfs*) stage. It only lasted for like 2 weeks and was brought on by the only thing that makes Sakura and Sasuke look remotely good together: fanart.

I have since reconverted. Sasuke's too much of an ass to be even remotely likable.

If Sasuke was nicer to Sakura AND she was herself around him, I would like SasuSaku a bit. But as it stands, it sends a horrible shiver down my spine. Sakura deserves better than that jerk.

Kishi's a smart storyteller, and really good. I'm sure he designed Sasuke and Sakura to be like that together so we would hate SasuSaku. I'm sure he must be wondering why on earth some people like it... (If I remember correctly, SasuSaku FC is by far the SMALLEST main pairing club with a handful of members)

I can understand some people see the romance in Sakura making Sasuke a better guy, but she doesn't act as herself and becomes too passive without Naruto around. I can't help but feel that even if she got Sasuke, she would be pretty miserable inside because she would very likely be continuing to act around him. Whereas Naruto loves Sakura for who she really is deep inside.

Naruto is a far cooler guy than Sasuke, of course. When he returns from that training trip, I can see some Sasuke fangirls (in real life, not the manga) converting to Naruto. See the light!

I hated Sasuke right from the start. That hate has never diminished. I even yelled 'YES!' when Haku ALMOST got rid of him... then groaning when he came back.

ahha soritia...sas/sak fanart almost converted me too!!!! but i didnt succumb, theres one site...it had SUCH pretty fanart. but none of it compared to the ultimate naru/sak fanart...who drew that picture anyways 0___0...such...talleennttt.

I was never converted to S***S***. I never liked it, not for one second. Felt like a minority for a while. . . Same with N***H***, even though I tried to, I really did. I never got into it.

I was never converted to SasuSaku since I didn't like the relationship at all. Interaction first, cuteness second. Sasuke's just eye-candy for the fangirls and the idol for the guys who want to be "cool".

He's just a jerk to me. I sympathise with him, but he's still a jerk. He seems to be getting darker in the latest chapter as well.

Don't worry Aethos - it was the same as before for the NaruHinas. Just Hinata stalking Naruto.

I was disappointed with 238 though. I mean, skipped three months and made a chapter that was mostly NOT about Naruto leaving? What a disappointing way to end the first part... I find it hard to believe that Naruto would just leave without any words to Sakura - they probably did meet during the three months and will be shown in a flashback, but it could have been featured in 238...

Oh well.

As long as Kishi keeps building up NaruSaku, I'll be OK. If he suddenly goes NaruHina and SasuSaku, I'll book a ticket to Japan and shout at him for ruining what was a great build-up. Still, he may make mistakes but he's smart - so I'll keep faith that everything will be all right!

My only sin is to have read NH stories because, back when I started reading them, 99% on ff.net were yaoi ns, and not the kind of ns I like! Thus I went with the flow of no pairing and the few N***H*** that came out. when I read my first NaruSaku I was so happy! It was badly written but I didn't care! It was NaruSaku (lemon to boot!)

I can't say I was converted but my mind is always on verdrive finding possible continuation to stories I read (sometimes I predict the author to an extent) and that's what got me into writing (My first piece was to wait for the fifth Harry Potter book) and made me write even mora and eventualy made me write a Naru/Saku fic.

I'm not a pioneer but I'm rather adaptative I must say! NH never had any sway over me but when you need to read, you need to read. (I read about 1000 pages of text within a full day of nonestop reading and then start on my next book or fic, I just read fast)

The first pair I was "interested" in seeing was Sasu/Saku (dammit, I can't believe I was!). It was because of some fanfic in a Sakura shrine that made it interesting, but I don't really think of it as 'realistic'. Sasuke changed almost instantly, and it wasn't really a good thing.

And then for a few days, I lost interest. I started to just stare at the google site, thinking of something to search. Hmm... why not try and like NaruSaku? So I did. This site made some really good points, and opened my eyes that Naruto and Sakura would be compatible. This site also taught me that SAKURA SHOULD *NOT* BE WITH SASUKE.

Hmm... maybe I'll be checking out some Naru/Hina sites and see what they have to say. Though I most likely will find the ever so popular 'der ceut 2gether n she lyke naruto n sakura s jus a b*tch.'
