Seeing that it manage to survive to 88 chapters. Well past the point they would cancel it if it wasn't successful. I'd say Black clover is successful and moderately popular it just not "Big." Sort of like how Gintama is normally seen.
I think it has potential to become big.

I was just about to post that lol
I'm quite skeptical about it myself.. although I think it depends on which dvision of Studio Perriot is handling the Black Clover anime.. If it's the the division that did the anime for Bleach then i think it'll be alright.. However if it's Naruto then I worry alot.
Hold it just a preview clip for it
Okay by the looks of it seems that it might be the division that handled Bleach, but i guess we'll just have to wait and see.. THe only other thing that concerns me is how they're gonna adapt the manga because Tokyo Ghoul is prime example!

Well that's no surprise remember, other then a "bad discussion made by kishimoto allowing nH to happen." Naruto was a international success. So was Bleach for the most part "its failure was totally because Kubo would not listening to them and not any failing on their part." Tokyo Ghoul despite "a bad showing in the anime" is still successful manga. And Baby Step I assume was handled well. Did they do Beelzebub or was that someone else?
So why let some bad luck that was "totally on the fault of the mangaka" end a relationship between these two companies since at least the nineties? A business relationship that has given them some of their most successful anime adaptation besides probably those produce by toei?
Anyways Black Clover seems like a manga right up their alley. Since it is a spiritual successor to Naruto in a way. Also "What else can they adapt?" MadHouse has Hunter X Hunter and one punch man ( and are very picky on what they make). Bones has My hero academy. J.C Staff has Food Wars. Toei has super and one piece. So they have to give them something new to work on or they will just have to keep the Naruto franchise going in order to sustain themselves. Since other then that they have nothing other then what would normally be side projects.
Edit I don't feel like making a new post: 4life again it not what the Black Clover actually should have for it adaptation. To be honest it art style is very different from Naruto, and I'm not sure they could pull it off. Then again they could put the NS fans from Naruto team and the people that worked on Bleach. You know the ones with the actual talent and dignity while sticking the nH fans with Boruto. It might not be so bad.
But again it's not about what the adaptation team that Black Clover needs is, instead its: One) The Naruto franchise is dying one way or another. So SP need something new to keep its company going, Two) Black Clover is the only manga that been around long enough that hasn't had an anime adaptation yet, Three) they have already given other series to work on for "all" the other anime companies they work with, Four) they are not going to abandon a relationship that has lasted over twenty years because of a "simple mistake", Five) Black Clover is the closest manga they have that is similar to Naruto (other then my hero academy that was given to bones). So they are hoping the can make lighting strike twice.

I suppose, but since the series relies on flash, SP is the last place you want to handle it.

Heard that anime will be done by Pierrot, what can I say, changing famous quote:
Anime is dead, baby, anime is dead.

So anything that is related to Naruto rather if its spinoffs or rippoffs gets handed to SP on a whim. Next thing you know, the staff will create a non canon with Hinata's traits and and big jugs, voiced by Mizuki. And have Aster magically fall in love with her
