I love the artwork in Nnt. Even when I get mad at the series the artwork makes it so worth it. I love the anime/cartoon mix it has. And the characters are always so well drawn. But really, I'm only interested about the fairy forest because- King. Couldn't care less about the Demons.

The art of Nanatsu no Taizai is consistent and well drawn. I guess it just doesn't stick out to me that much, but then again, I'm not an arts major XD

One-Punch Man arts makes me cry T_T My brother read it yesterday, and he said he loved it.

Read the oneshot. It was interesting, but I didn't think I don't think it was necessarily enticing (but then again, the first chapter of the manga itself wasn't that interesting.) I don't like Meliodas in that one shot either. He was too boring to me. But I wish the Elizabeth we've seen in that oneshot would have been in the manga. What I care about girls the most is not how skillful in fighting they are, but their personality. And I dislike Elizabeth's personality in the manga. Her "Meliodas-sama" is so annoying in the anime that I still haven't touched it.
Am I a fan of MeliodasxElizabeth. No, not at all. Never have been, and never will be, unless Elizabeth changes.
Do I hate Meliodas's perverted side? Yes, I do, but what I hate even more is Elizabeth's reactions. She embarrasses me as a girl to be honest, not being able to react appropriately when she is molested. So far, her only purpose was to be sexy eyecandy to the readers. That's it. We'll see what she has to offer as the story goes on.
I read the manga for its story, that's it.

Imao, don't say that. That's just one of a few reasons XD I'm interested in her not only b/c Meliodas has a hard time molesting her

I just think in general that their dynamic was more intriguing to me in that short flashback than b/w MeliodasxElizabeth. Liz seems to have been slowly warming up to Meliodas (which is understandable since he was sort of her enemy to begin with, but it still is more acceptable to me than Elizabeth's crush )...I have the feeling that their relationship develop in a more natural pace.

Asking for a good romance isn't too much at all. I think the excuse of "well it's a shounen" is absurd. Just because it's meant for boys doesn't mean it's supposed to have bad writing in it. If anything, it upsets me that such a thing like Melodias molesting Elizabeth is in a story like this. What does that teach impressionable boys?  

 

Think Sun Ken Rock here. Ken and Yumin have a really good dynamic and relationship. Ken doesn't live solely for Yumin and Yumin doesn't live solely for Ken. And that's in a seinen manga. 

 

I've read lots and lots of manga. I've seen really good ones and really bad ones. And I can honestly say that Nanatsu No Taizai can do a way better job with romance than what they're doing now. But it just doesn't stop at romance.    There's also the issue of no dying characters, shounen cliches, etc.  I could write an essay about that too. 

 

And yeah. NH is ME. Elizabeth is literally NnT's version of Hinata. And she's hopelessly in love with a guy that doesn't treat her correctly.

It's not double standards at all. We're talking morals here, not environments. Ken has good morals: he fights to protect the people he loves. He never backs down, and he's dedicated to helping Yumin. I'd say even Yumin is a powerful role model. She doesn't need saving, she takes up for herself, and she's determine to beat her abusive father. Also he would never touch Yumin like that 

 

But the way Melodias treats Elizabeth does come off as if he's trying to take advantage of her. There's no deep connection coming from his interactions. All he does is grope while she cries about him not noticing her enough. Of course he has his moments but they're very, very overshadowed.   

 

And yes, Kazuya Mishima to the extreme!

I'm a King fan, but that chapter was... useless in my eyes. Didn't add anything to the story.
