... Ok, maybe ShinKagu, but just for fun b/c I know they only see each other as family. And maybe b/c of the latest movie (I didn't see it yet, just the trailer and tumblr, lol). I wonder if Shinpaichi, Kagura, Okita (god he was hot in that movie) will look like that later.

I get why but if you see more episodes, Shinpachi and Kagura has more of bro and sis vibe, I love them I love the relationships of everyone, this anime is more about familial and friendship that its hard to decide xD I want them too but I doubt it..

Exactly! I love this focus on familia relationships and friendships. One of my favorite relationships in the series is Gintoki and Kagura's. I'm not sure if Kagura views Gintoki as some sort of father, but at least I'm getting this father-daughter vibe (especially after episode 153 XD) I love how Kagura sometimes plays the fool alongside Gintoki and copies him sometimes. I'm starting to think that Gintama is a "secret" hidden jewel in the shounen jump magazine. It's a shame how Gintama is relatively unknown in the west. It didn't even get a dub to begin with... Do you think they'd still dub an anime that started getting released in 2006?

They can dub it but I don't want Funimation dubbing it....I feel those who did Inuyasha and Gundam (Ocean Dub) should dub it since I haven't heard them in a while Dx Yes!! I love the father/daughter feel!! He gets overprotective when she gets a boyfriend xD

I.Don't.Like.Funimation. Yato's voice in Noragami sucks. Tokyo Ghoul dub is horrid.

I mean, disney movies always get the voice acting done fine. Cartoon shows are generally good, too. But animes... uhuh.

Imao, Inuyasha's voice actors were good though.

I wonder why it has never been dubbed... Dunno if I'll get the manga in the future. Maybe when I catch up, I'll get the latest ones they have so far.

Actually... now that I think about it... Gintama is most likely not dubbed in other countries b/c of two reasons:

1) The Japanese references- Of course, more than half of the time I have zero idea what TV shows or historical figures/idol stars Gintama is parodying, but it doesn't bug me that much. But dubbing these Japanese notions would be hard as the western audience would fail to comprehend what the jokes are about (unless you have something as obvious with "One Park" and "Believe It" XD).

2) Misunderstaning/ Wrong Impression- I think everyone who is getting into this anime will wonder if Gintama even has a main plot line or if it is mainly an episodic and comedic anime (which it is not). People are impatient. When after 30 episodes it doesn't look like anything major has happened, they tend to drop it.

Yeah... I don't think Gintama will ever get dubbed. Too bad.

Inuyasha isn't dub by Funimation lol Funimation did Space Dandy, DBZ, FMA, Soul Eater, and Deadman Wonderland really good! Those were great dubs, I just hate the massive reuse of VA and new VAs that aren't good, so that's kinda why I don't want Funimation because I'll just be hearing the same people or new people in Gintama and I won't like it, I feel like they're trying too hard

Hm? We were going off topic, it's still about Gintama but I guess since I didn't put something of Gintama in the last post, I guess you could say its off topic but it was more giving examples on the Gintama dub, sorry I'll fix it xD

Mmmm that Dragon Ball discussion lol Besides we weren't even off topic..we were just saying how we wanted and expect how a Gintama dub would turn out, we just didn't add Gintama in the post because it wasn't needed xD
