Still no one cares, if Naruto call Obito the coolest guy even after killing his parents, Nagato, Jiraiya, Konan, manipulated Akatsuki and killed Neji to force Naruto to accept his way.Anything can happen.Just wait for Madara to join the bandwagon and to complete the mess already.

naruto never called obito as the coolest guy... that's just a minstralation... naruto says that at his eyes the obito who tried to become hokage is cool.... not the evil obito who killed his parents and friends. Good lord, he even forgave Nagato who has killed the person who was a father for him..that's naruto.

Ugh, tears are being jerked every which way. 

 

I think this was a very heartfelt chapter. Definitely loved where Obito officially passed the dream to Naruto and Naruto reaffirms that yes, he WILL be the best goddamned Hokage. Not Sasuke.

 

But damn, when Naruto more or less promised that he WILL be Hokage with them tears in his eyes and Kakashi's face. Abundance of feels. Then by the end of the chapter, the feelings are a little mixed (because of everything Obito has done), but still, overwhelming feels. Good for him.

 

Hopefully next chapter we'll get some Naruto kicking-ass action and some plot development. Also, hope Sakura gets more involved too, she's been sidelined ever since they came back (granted its only been like 2-3 chapters, but still). But, as a side note, Sakura seems to be getting prettier in every chapter. 

 

Lastly, I'm cool with Naruto defending Obito's memory and all, but iono bout that "coolest guy" line tho. No matter how mislead he was, he was still the one that had the heart to basically cause the death of his teacher and his wife and countless people from his very own village; and instigating the war for Madara. I mean I sympathize with him, but there's still gotta be a line somewhere with these kinds of things. But I guess that just means I'm not Jesus like Naruto.

 

But damn lol, Obito didn't say what we all wanted him to say about Naruto and Sakura.

Though you are right in here....but aren't Uzumaki's blessed with long life? So technically any normal jinchuuriki dies immediately when a bijuu is removed but Kushina survived that....so if it hadn't been for their sacrifice...Kushina and Minato both would have been alive today. Not absolving Obito of his crime...but that's a point as well...

She said she was gonna die regardless, she just didn't happen to die instantly like normal Jinchuuriki. This where the whole plot hax of Naruto surviving by having the tailed beast put back in him would save his life thing...because in Kushina's flashback to Naruto, she told Minato to reseal Kurama inside her so she could take him out with her. Of coarse Tail Beast don't die, they regenerate of a certain period of time

Well if he did you can olmost say NS is canon, doubt kishi wanted that already.

Ahh!!!! So it works this way . Thanks a lot Mangareader . Since Minato said, "Only You as his mother can teach him certain things and I am mo match for you", I thought she'd stay alive but in a very frail condition...regardless...now I know that's not the case

I don't know but every time I read the part with Rin saying "I've been.. watching you" it leaves me the impression that it could also relate to Rin's fondness and love for Obito

 

It's just the caring way in which she said it that left me that impression. But don't mind me I'm just rambling a little given that this is the last time we'll surely see those two.

We did get a parallel. but it was team 7 with team Minato

I feel like people keep forgetting that naruto is about both hero and villain and why they do what they do. It makes me pull my hair out when purple are constantly just asking for more action our more romance.

Kishi said himself (i read in an interview a while back) that his manga didn't necessarily focus on the combat, but the intentions behind their actions.

I feel like people forget that a lot. To me, the reason why naruto is my favorite manga is because kishi takes his time to explain things (hence the flashbacks everyone always whines about). He may not do a very good job with it sometimes, but i enjoy every friend ship and relationship that is given to us.

I honestly feel that if i was able to write the series, id only be finishing up part 1 or be entering the gaara arc in pt 2. It can get that deep.

To be fair you can't really blame him for Jiraiya's death or Sasuke's parents, also I think naruto was more or less referring to kid Obito, the one that was like him not necessarily the psychopath but its sort of impossible to give the guy credit when all he's done is ruin your life.

As for the chapter I thought it was ok. Admittedly I was dissapointed by the lack of NS parallel and the lack of ObiRin becoming canon. Hopefully Kishi does something about BZ where he does something other than push peoples buttons from a distance. Whats with his face? He looks like Chain Chomp from Mario.

Its ok though because Sasuke will get all the credit therefore it evens out

in other words naruto will break susano with 1 finger when their fight comes

The only thing which prevents him from ravaging Sasuke are his bond and his emotions for him. Let them vanish and let Sasuke be a villain like Kaguya or Madara and Naruto would ravage him like anything especially considering the fact that he gave so much pain to Sakura chan!

I wonder if this is the time where Naruto will play with all of the Bijuu's so far he has done it with Shukaku , Son Goku , Kokuo and Kurama that's 4 out of 9 Bijuu's only 5 remains so maybe now is the time to do it with the rest of them ? Also can he pull the full BM with all the Bijuu's  like he did with Kurama or combine all of them , I wonder how that's gonna look like .
