what it's bothering me isn't the cover, it's fhe fact that seeing my NS felllows are pretty down and now it's like that only the faith can make NS canon. it's making me a bit nervous...  685 or 686 doesn't change anything, we're still near to the end of the manga. And there's a crucial clue that kishi has never showed: Naruto has NEVER confessed his love. NEVER.

 

And you know that all this means if Sasuke will come back to the village? It will be as Naruto is free from all burdnes that he has hold for years... And he will start a new life... Kushina "Someday you will want a girlfriend..."

I'm not upset because I'm worried about NS not becoming canon, I just think this is inconistent writing. I don't like the moment regardless of what happens tomorrow. If SS does become canon then 'ew', but that's another problem.

Why are people having such hissy fits over this. The cover doesn't impact what's going on in the actual manga. As inferno said its just artwork, and its nice artwork. There hasn't been a single moment where Sakura has thought of sasuke in a romantic way ever since he came to the battlefield. We even got kakashis in take on her feelings stating her feelings have changed since then. Even this chapter and last chapter there was nothing more than platonic. They weren't even in narutos reality/world.The cover doesn't prove anything, kishimoto can put whatever he wants on it.

Before leaving... at least I think I just want to make an analysis of this art, and I hope people will listen to me...

 

THIS is a TEAM7 art. It's representing the team7 dynamic. It's the same as this old art with Sakura clinging on Sasuke on an eagle.

///Sakura is clinging to Sasuke in both arts. (that's what we're supposed to believe about her, and that's what she was doing during almost all the manga)

///Kakashi is behind them in both arts. (because he's their sensei, he's pushing them forward)

 

It's symbolizing the BASIC team7 dynamic, and Kishimoto would NEVER reveal his ending on that kind of art. Just think 5seconds from his position. Would you reveal the ending ? He's just representing the characters with what we know as a basis about them.

Just imagine if Sakura would be all lovey dovey on Naruto ? BAM the ending is ruined.

Sakura is not alone because her character is known for clinging on Sasuke (in a very basic view of course, I'm not talking about all the subtle links between her and Naruto and I don't think Kishimoto wants to show this on that kind of art).

 

Kishimoto is just representing the basic team7 dynamic. As I said.

Kishimoto's purpose is to ENTERTAIN his fans, his purpose is to make us happy.

This art is totally out of the canon story. No need to talk about Sakura evolution here because it's not supposed to be shown in this art.

I can't take Kishi seriously if he can't be bother to show Sakura actually progressing with her feelings. If Kishi is incapable of putting his words into action then I won't let myself have any expectations about the future from now on.

 

Kishi can allude with parallels, foreshadowing and comments all he wants, but it's not going to have much worth if he just makes Sakura go the opposite way of it.

I would also like to point out one thing... It isn't that the epilogue, that is gonna be in the LAST MOVIE, is a clue of the manga's end within a few months... This epilogue of the movie could be simply narrated in 10-15 years later, who knows.... Now we don't come to conclusions. The page don't talk about any conclusion of the manga within a short time, also because I noticed that there's a strange and secret project that will stat in 2015.

The problem with that is that shes blushing (i dont even think she was blushing last time)

We all know NS is endgame its bot the fact that shes holding onto Sasuke thats discouraging its the fact that Kishi is making continiously hard to accept that Naruto isnt a silver medal and that NS becoming canon is all thanks to Sasuke turning into a psychopath for a couple of days
