Does anybody else think that Kurama may be Madara's trump card. He can control the kyuubi. Could be why Kishi has been holding back BM.

That makes a lot of sense. Probably.

 

I got so excited when Tobirama said, "I'll return this back to you." That was such a badass movement! I always wanted to see Tobirama's full potential. I know he's not Hokage just because he's the little brother of Hashirama. And this chapter just proved that Tobirama is a strong Hokage in his own right. 

 

Also, this chapter showed that Sasuke is indeed more skilled than Naruto. I assume it takes great skills to match one's chakra level to another. Although, when it comes to power, Naruto is definitely stronger. Naruto is a power fighter while Sasuke is a skilled fighter. 

 

Liked the Shikamaru talk. I also believe he's a great Hokage candidate too. And if changing people's hearts are the basic condition of being a Kage, Sakura fits the criteria as well. When people lost all hope, it was her speech that brought hope and led to Shika's doton wall strategy. 

 

One part I didn't like about this chapter is Minato's "You're the main star." Here we have all these alliance shinobis sacrificing their lives for his son, fighting to death against the Bijuu clones, and he calls his own son "the main star"? There should be no such thing as a main star when everybody is equally fighting to death to protect his own son in this deadly battlefield. He shouldn't be claiming his son as the most important, when everybody else is sacrificing their lives to defeat any threat no matter how small it is. If it wasn't for Shikamaru's speech, Minato's words would've done nothing but encouraged the exhausted alliance members that they really are worthless/useless.

My favourite post in this thread. You said a lot of the same things I mentioned in my post, and then some. I like how you mentioned that, because changing people's hearts is a condition of being a Kage, Sakura also fits the criteria. I didn't even think of that! You know... Sakura has a lot of qualities that could make her like, a perfect Hokage. I <3 this girl.

 

I very much agree with you on Minato's words (which I spoke on in my post). I love Minato, but that was kind of a rude thing to say. Imagine if he had said it out loud, and there were others around to hear it. So many people would feel awful. I wouldn't be surprised if someone were like, "Welp, guess I'm not needed here. You guys can handle this, I'm just going to go chill with my family." Lol.

 

Regardless, I liked Shikamaru's speech, too. Very uplifting, and like Atheck mentioned in the beginning of the thread, it's almost as if Kishi is directly speaking to the readers who think most of the Alliance is useless. It may also indicate that they're going to be more involved in the fight very soon, and I really hope so. I want everyone to work together (and yes, I want Sakura to be involved, too, much more than she is now).

I was reading through some of my favorite chapters and I noticed a difference in Obito's so6p cloak and the actual so6p.

It should be obvious that the two are not identical. I'm not sure if this has any real significance or if it shows Obito is a corrupt(?) version of the sage. Any thoughts?   

 

I also noticed it looked like Saskue used susando (Or however you spell it) to protect Naruto. Thats awfully sweet of him. HAHA.

He does has but he wants to destroy it with his own hands, he broke his bonds with Sakura and the others but not with Naruto.

Yeah, Sasuke has it deep in his heart. I think when he looses to Naruto at the end, he'll show how he likes his bond with Naruto and stuff, and with Sakura and Kakashi also.

Naruto is the only bond that Sasuke hasn't truly ended. Everyone else he couldn't care as much. Remember how his communications went in the last arc. When Naruto stepped in, he took the courtesy to speak to him and hears his thoughts. It's obvious that he sees him as a brother, like a new Itachi in his life. That all said he doesn't accept the bond he has with Naruto, so the final solution is to kill him, which he is going to do. When you think about it, his last talk ended Team 7 bond, so one left standing is Naruto. It's like he had Sakura and Kakashi ended, until Naruto who is stubborn to let it end.

 

Pretty much, Sasuke's bonds with Naruto is the only bond he cares about now since Itachi is dead. Sasuke has been largely focusing on him ever since his return, including them watching their attacks. Also, it's not satisfying for a person who wants to end the bond by having another to do the work. It's like you want to take your own action since it's very personal. Pretty much, Sasuke will protect Naruto but for the selfish reason.

Well that clarifies it. Madara's trump card is linked to hashirama and more than likely his DNA.

As for Naruto's line......damn those that sound better in japanese cause uncle with Nidaime's face sound funky in english.

 

It's not strange imo. first time they combined the rasenshuriken with amaterasu it was all Naruto's doing. He targeted he concentrated the chakra Sasuke just shot the arrow, this time he wanted to do the chakra ratio.

Well I read the raw...I understand both translations. I think they both work... yours of course has a more ominous tone to it.

In the original it seemb that Madara's plan is that to give something from Hashirama (probabily his DNA). Probably Mangapanda and Mangastream would have misunderstand it for a question of time...

It seems that "get a litte bit of Hashirama " is the infamous trump card...

It seems that his trump card has something to do with Hashirama. Interesting trump card he has there. Possibly, he wants something from his power to add to his own power. Let's see what Madara will say next about his trump card.

I agree with you, the literal translation would be "I'll have a little more of you" to Hashi. Maybe they changed it on their translation because it sounds a bit "rough"?

You're right, I just thought that their translation has the implication that Mada is getting "a bit more" of Hashi, but that is a lot clearer to me after reading the raw haha.

A made up word that I made. Lol. Basically, it's a shield that only reserve for one pairing (NS) as others get none, not safe from death. Think as plot shield but for pairing.

aha well he gave his approval for NS but another pairing is hoping that might change. So if he would leave the story then only NS had to gain. There's also obirin that again Minato supports but still brings of NS. Also the same can be said of Sai only that Sai knows them better.
