Atheck, if you remember, Katsuyu withstood Pein's full shinra tensei with no problem, while Gamabunta had all his bones ruptured.  Not to mention resisting Naruto's corrosive chakra up to 8 tails + chibaku tensei. And that was only a small part of it.

Both of those features could be attributed to Katsuyu's regenerative abilities. Not only that, her form appears to have a spongelike composition to itself. Or in other words, it's flexible and able to be adjusted in accordance to whenever Katsuyu wishes to reconfigure herself. Are we even aware of how Katsuyu managed to survive once Naruto entered 6TK/8TK? Keep in mind that the chakra cloak causes the jinchuuriki to enter a perpetual cycle of physical corrosion and regeneration. How do we not know that the cloak may have had the same effect on Katsuyu's segment that was in Naruto's pocket?

So I'd say out of all 3 of them, Katsuyu is the most resistible one.

Resistible != Durable

I already explained my reasoning for Katsuyu's aptitude to endure physical trauma. Much like Tsunade she has regenerative properties and can divide her body into thousands of smaller parts at will. These qualities would give anyone a higher level of "resistance" in combat situations.

And that is a normal Katsuyu, not a supposed Sage one.

Since when was the possibility of Katsuyu entering SM confirmed? It's not even plausible that she'll reveal one since her role is to act as a group healer.

As for the other stuff...
I didn't say nothing about crows and other stuff. THat was purely made.

Yes, but just like with the Kaguya Clan allegation it was used as a means to trivialise the connection that the slugs have to Shikkotsu Forest and by extension Sakura's relevance.

That's why out of all those theories only this part is what attracted my interest. We know nothing about Kaguya's clan whereabouts/places etc.

We also know little of the Yuki Clan but does that mean that Haku or his Hyoton element are somehow distantly related to the Kage line just because many of them have been depicted as possessing elemental combination techniques due to their bloodline? No, that's because the Yuki Clan was apparently composed of a bunch of dispersed peasants living in the Land of Water countryside. Just like the Kaguya Clan they were wiped out. That doesn't suggest that there is anything significant to them besides the information we have been given and neither should it be required that they are important.

Any trace of their respective KG perished when Haku and Kimimaro died; excluding the modifications Kabuto made to his body but Orochimaru had likely taken samples of Kimimaro's DNA in the past.

But if you think about, only from this point of view there is a little connection.

There is absolutely no connection at all to Shikkotsu Forest until Kishi establishes one in the manga.

What if Sakura could do/gain high durability like in the case of Kimmimaro with his Shikkotsumyaku kekke genkai as in create an armor of dense bones or something like that. Thus, according to that, her bones would be harder than steel.

Not only would that contradict the whole "normal girl" persona that Sakura has if she were to display KG-esque abilities but it doesn't even correlate to the nature of the slugs which Kishi established. They rely on anatomical dispersal and restorative abilities to survive. In a combat situation they can emit a corrosive solution that is capable of immediately dissolving solid earth. Where exactly do you infer from the above that Katsuyu and as a result her sage mode, if she has one, as having greater than average durability? There is already a SM whose emphasis was on durability, it was the frog variant. The reader witnessed this first-hand when Naruto fell atop a collection of spiked rock protrusions, forcing them to collapse, then picking himself up whilst making a remark about how he was undamaged and didn't feel anything at all.

If you think about it, this high durability, only from this point of view and the names, is kinda connected.

No, I already addressed this several responces above.

Both Shikkotsurin and Shikkotsumyaku kekke genkai refer to a bones/durability as shown by Slugs and Kimmimaro.

Shikkotsurin presumably refers to the geography of the environment that Katsuyu resides in, not of her abilities. If we assigned this same literal interpretation of a place's name to Naruto then why isn't he sprouting a Mokuton covered eminence from his back? Because the name of the location which he acquired his Sage Mode has no relation in that context to the abilities themselves that he receives.

Aokigahara (青木ヶ原?), also known as the Sea of Trees (樹海 Jukai?)

Haha, Jukai...

At the base of the mount..

Hmm, I was thinking what IF the forest would be at the base of Mount Myobokuzan, lol.

@Atheck, I was just theoretizing here, I am not saying it is something true. It is a mere possibility, that is all.

But anyway, to each his own.

Why are Japanese so suicidal?........ I wonder.

Still a fantasy bone forest sounds great.... :fu:

EDIT: Hey, so Katsuyu is the only slug resident of that forest? Like, she has no children or siblings... etc? Does this mean that she's immortal? Frogs and Snakes have lived for ages... and Katsuyu is the only giant slug there is?

Living in japan isn't so easy... By social pressure and live failures, japanese are pretty suicidal for these reasons...

By the looks of it, yes, she is the only inhabitant of Shikkotsurin which means she is immortal and is as old as all the generations of frogs/snakes. As in, as old as Gamma Sennin and Hakuja Sennin.

Yeah I heard about that.. Sounds sad. I really adore this country and its people.....

Something should be done about it! :comfort:

Well that makes her unique... and if there's a SSM, it probably has something to do with Katsuyu's unique features.. like immortality.  :plots:

anyway, by reading Chatte's theory about the fact that Sasuke has intention to killing Naruto, I still remember those words from Kurama to Sasuke during the first meeting between Naruto and Sasuke in shippuden.

Yeah, I agree. I see Sasuke wanting to kill Naruto, but only if he gets in his way which Naruto will. Not like I just want to kill him.

Anyone that gets in Sasuke's way, he wants to finish him/her.

Reasons why Katsuyu would say Sakura "chan" would be due to Sakura being very young and/or them being close to each other. Since it is manga it usually isn't applied ^^.

I'm sure by Orochimaru that there is one huge slug that decides into smaller slugs (summoning power).

Exactly. Katsuyu is known for her power of splitting, so to speak. So one Katsuyu that has the ability to split would be like an entire generation of Slugs...gah, dunno how to put it.

As in she is one while the frogs/snake are like a whole population... gah dunno how express it properly.

I originally thought it's because Kurama would be revived over time...but that doesn't make sense at any point in time. I might have to think about this one :/

You know the funny thing is that if Kuruma does get released because of Naruto's death he will only go after Sasuke since they're now bros. so yeah, Sasuke better not kill Naruto one way or another. Granted the Sharingan may help, but that would only make him look more evil than him. So yeah. Still, wouldn't Kuruma be stuck within Naruto's body? So why warn him? I'm really confused.

because it's like that prediction, Sasuke kills Naruto becomes hokage, ends up with Sakura and has a son called Naruto.

For some reason i didnt forget this prediction when Sasuke comes back that was the first thing that come into my head.

What I remember is if the host dies with the Bijuu still inside, they both die. It's only a temporary death for the Bijuu though because it's living chakra, thus it takes time to fully revive. So back when Kurama first made threat, it didn't make much sense and still doesn't make much even with Naruto's new friendship, as Kurama will die with him

So what's there to regret? Actually, didn't Rin died with a Bijuu? It feels like if the host dies, Bijuu is forever sleep until a process happens but I don't know. One way or another, Sasuke will fight Naruto. It seem like killing Bijuus is his way and Naruto and from the look of it, Hashirama, disapprove this. So yeah, the seed is planted for their final battle.
