I like Sakura's character a lot.

If I base her off of what Kishi has done with other characters her age and gender, then I'd say Sakura is the strongest out out all of them and can easily take on any of the K11 (well, minus Naruto, but I can't even imagine her getting into a serious fight with him)

But, if I look at her in general, I think Kishi could have done a lot more with her character overall to really make her stand out. Compared to the other girls her age, she is definitely the heroine. Compared to other similar mangas, I don't really think she compares a lot of the time. If we consider what she has done overall in the span of hundreds of chapters, again, she is definitely the heroine. But as I said before, I don't think Kishi evenly divides character growth in his manga, particularly part 2.

He hinted she would become a great ninja in part 1, developed her a heck of a lot in part 2, but about midway through, it seems that he forgot her character in the mix of Naruto and Sasuke. I feel like there were so many opportunities to make her character even better (for example, did we need to see a battle between Sasuke and Deidara? Why couldn't we see Sakura training or learning something new for once?)

That's really the biggest issue I have in the series regarding Sakura. She's one of the more dynamic characters in the series. Rather obviously, too; she's not the same girl she was at the beginning of the series. She even kept the short hair! That's one of the greatest symbol of her development. It's why I like her and why I'm confused that it's said Kishi doesn't know how to write her when he did it so well from Part 1 to the beginning of Part 2.

Heck, I bet if he puts her in a leadership position, like he briefly did during the Pein Invasion Arc, she would shine quite well.

This is the problem of Naruto and Sakura, kishi give Sakura problems about herself like her bad view about herself, wont make sense if she fights alongside Naruto and think that she did nothing for him, this is cant understand.

That is what I want, not just mere combat focus. Sakura's entire character arc basically halted after her attempt to kill Sasuke.

I feel that she was dropping off the map way before she tried to kill Sasuke. Even before then, we got random arcs about Sasuke, some important arcs about Naruto, but hardly anything meaningful for Sakura. By meaningful, I mean anything on the level of focus Naruto and Sasuke gets.

Sasuke is still the biggest problem NaruSaku faces. He has become the embodiment of fear to Naruto and Sakura. Something they don't want to face, but they know they have to.

The only insecurity Sakura faces now is helping Naruto defeat Sasuke and even then I think it is because she is afraid of him as much as Naruto is. She has no other insecurities about herself or about her abilities. She once did, but now all she is afraid of is the fear of losing the two things she cared about the most. She is afraid to lose Naruto and Sasuke, but now she faces a choice where she has to choose between one of them. It is quite possibly the hardest choice for anyone, but I think Sakura has chosen to stick by Naruto. Again, people see 573 as something insignificant, but I see it as something more. I have always seen people talk about Hinata in that chapter and how "good" she is because she thinks so highly of Naruto. Try brushing it off and I find people saying "You have to understand where Hinata is coming from." I see Sakura the same way. Given what we know about her, what she has done throughout the manga leading to this point, she has made a statement saying "No matter what you say, I am going to be with you." That is not something you can just brush off given what we know.

I don't know why people want to brush Sakura off this chapter. I don't know why people see it as nothing, but I see as her making a choice. This is especially true given that just before we saw Sakura think about Sasuke in a negative light which again is something people see as significant yet ignore the development of chapter 573.

I have a funny feeling that Sakura is going to fight Sasuke along side of Naruto. I have a feeling that she isn't going to let Naruto fight the battle alone and in doing this she will not only conquer her fear of Sasuke, but Naruto's as well. They will have more of a connection than Naruto and Hinata are doing now and Sakura will no longer fill the weight of her previous burdens.

This could even cause Sasuke to feel something from it and maybe have him second guessing himself. He did say he was looking for the meaning of a clan and I think that is where he going to find it, in NaruSaku. It's not bloodlines, powers, or some sense of identity, but rather the people who are around you. Who care about you and who would do anything for you. Possibly also remind him of Itachi.

and all this to parallel how Minato and Kushina were when they first met. How he loved her and she inspired him.

At least, if I were Kishimoto, that is how I would end this manga.

I agree with you and I hope that your feeling about Sakura possibly fighting alongside Naruto against Sasuke will become true, that would be interesting and who don't want that anyway XD
But, there's Team Taka in the turn too who will be with Sasuke, unless they have something else to be busy about, which Sakura will probably take care of them or her, Sai, and Kakashi will fight against each one of them. That would be great to see Sakura fighting again against powerful enemies cause sure she won't be staying in Konoha while Naruto is out there fighting Sasuke, and her drinking tea, neither I see her watching them fighting cause that really would be ridiculous.

And it's shown on a lot of chapters, and as i said when it comes to Naruto she wants to do her best but after she always say "i cant do anything". i dont understand.

Most of her "I can't do anything" emotions come not from lacking abilities (not exactly), it comes from feeling inadequate when it comes to helping Naruto in particular. She's never seen doubting herself in battle like she used to at all, the only doubt she has now is fighting Sasuke seriously or being able to help Naruto when he needs it most.

As she explained to Yamato, she feels like all the things she does for Naruto are small and insignificant, not that she isn't strong enough in a fight or she doesn't have enough experience to defend herself. Maybe this is why Kishi hasn't shown any Sakura training or anything, he's made it so that isn't one of her worries anymore and doesn't feel the need to make her stronger. (But come on, now a days it feels like she needs a powerup)

As for fighting Sasuke with Naruto, maybe she does, but in a different way. If Sasuke does find what he's looking for in Naruto and Sakura (caring for one another or in general, sticking together and keeping their bonds), then maybe he will also find that in Team Taka. A battle between Team Taka and Teak Kakashi would be awesome, but at the same time, so would Sakura & Naruto vs Sasuke.

One might say it's unfair to fight him 2 on 1, but if they really want Sasuke to come back, it's stupid to fight him 1 on 1 when you don't have to. I really want Sakura to be there fighting too, but Naruto's "I'm the only one who can do it" attitude really pisses me off and I wish he would get over it. It would be great development for him to to actually go to Sakura and ask for her help. When have we every really seen Naruto ask her for anything serious? I know he doesn't want to impose on her, but he needs to learn that he doesn't need to do everything himself. Maybe he'll learn that in this war.

You said you felt that she still has insecurities about her abilities, I said she does not. I'm not talking about the insecurities with herself, I'm talking her strength and fighting abilities.

You do not see Sakura questioning whether she can handle enemies anymore other than Sasuke. You don't see part 1 Sakura begging for Tsunade to train her to be a medic nin. The Sakura of today does not have insecurities about her strength or battle abilities.

She does occasionally feel insecure about what she can do for Naruto, not in terms of strength, more like support in general. She feels like she isn't doing enough, or at least she felt that way a while ago. The Sakura now is slowly getting rid of that insecurity, boldly stating they would be fighting together next time, she would be his support and his partner.

So again, I'm not talking about the insecurities about herself, that's murky water. I talking about her fighting skills, which I do not recall seeing her question in part 2.

If Kishi would think about this for Sakura, I can see too that Sakura talk to him that he's not in this alone and he should let others help him and such.

This, so much. Shikamaru is being built up as a war hero alongside Naruto by Kishi so far, so he needs one fight that will completely cement that status of his. But I get the feeling that Madara will be saved for him.

Shikamaru, along with the rest of the 11, will be the one to take down Madara. So far, the good guys have simply been trying to match him in strength, but there are other ways to win, of course. Shikamaru is going to show him power isn't everything in a battle.

The way I see it, the upcoming fights will be:

- Kakashi vs Obito
- The Jinchuuriki vs Juubi
- K-11 vs Madara (and maybe some alliance fodders)
