I do admire your ideas on many possibilities, but it's just best to wait if anything does goes to your favor or not.
There's a substantial amount of evidence to argue that these predictions may come true. Furthermore, I don't recall theorisation being prohibited in the chapter discussion thread. If you don't agree with the ides presented then either give your reasons for being in contention or just don't acknowledge the post.
Sometimes, you just have to follow what Kishi is telling.
And what is Kishi telling? That the viability of the Curse Seal making a return in this fight is fan made?
I do agree with you about this battle is crucial, but lately, I get the feeling this fight is stalled to the next volume, which could very well be the last one.
Of course it will continue for some time. The greatest amount of plot progression happening at the end of this volume is the Jubi entering into ultimate form and the battle arriving at the climax.
The Kages need a chapter themselves,
What's to prevent their arrival occurring during the same chapter as the battle? It only took several pages for the Edo Hokages to gather at the battlefield and begin assisting with their barrier jutsu. Surely the Kages wouldn't require much else for the time being.
a resolution,
Probably will not happen until the end of the war.
if Obito were to lose here, needs to happen, and so many more, and with 5 chapters left in a volume, it's not possible.
Nothing is impossible. Depending on the content of the current situation, a chapter can either expand events very quickly or hinder it to a crawl like what #640 did (for the most part).
Only solution is to rush but that will be a bad idea.
Five chapters is a considerable amount of time for the story to progress where Sasuke acquires the Curse Seal. Hell, with #618, we saw a plethora of new developments happened. Sasuke and Orochimaru finally arrived at Konoha after being gone for years. It was discovered that the Uzumaki were the creators of the Shiki Fujin jutsu and that it has a weakness. Orochimaru's arms were restored to life and he acquired a new body with the cells of Senju Hashirama (a development which is bound to have repercussions in the future). And then most importantly, the Hokages were all revived.
All of that in the span of one chapter. Yes, progress can be slow but it can also be quick. Too quick at times actually.
The next chapter, which according to the preview, it suggests that Dark Kyuubi is going to interact.
The bottom sentence of the final page seems to be implying that senjutsu would be the prominent focus of the next chapter.
"What happens now that Naruto found a strategy that's effective?!"
So doing that will be one chapter down, four to go. I think we are going to stretch this fight to next volume.
As it was explained, that many chapters is adequate panel time for Sasuke to receive a new Curse Seal and reenter the fray after having his main character status reaffirmed. What may happen at the end of this volume is Tobi finally reaching his ultimate state of power.
Oh and the "trump" card from Madara. So yeah, you never know. Personally, I did wish Sasuke to fight Madara but oh well. Then again...Ah, who knows.
I doubt his trump card has any relevance to Sasuke. If it did then why is Madara fighting Hashirama? Whatever he has in mind it appears to be related to Hashirama's DNA. The stream's translation, which was confirmed to be the most authentic by a Japanese interpreter on this forum, strongly suggests this.
Seems possible. Though it would be like, "That's convenient" but who knows.
I thought the shinigami having a weakness that was never previously foreshadowed just so the Hokages could be revived to assist in the war was convenient. Didn't prevent it from happening and making a significant impression on events. Without them, Naruto and his friends would all be dead right now.
Funny how the topic seems to be about how to make Sasuke relevant in the current stage.Don't know why we are so fixated on him.
Well yes, he is a main character and Kishi seemed to find it necessary that this fact be restated. It's not unreasonable to expect consistency in those words.
