The Naruto and Sakura we fans shipped would never have put up with this BS. Naruto would have encouraged Sakura to be active at the hospital and as a ninja. Sakura would have pushed and challenged Naruto for being a lax parent.
 
These two characters are parodies. That's all I can think anymore. The Naruto from the last isn't the Naruto from 698. I don't understand how Kishi could make a manga about bonds and then destroy most of them in a freaking pairing movie.

Pairings aside, they shouldnt have made that the focus anyway. They should have focused on HOW naruto became Hokage, on HOW things wound up how they did in that epilouge. Orochimaru and the others' whereabouts should have been explained in the manga, but failing that should have appeared in the LAST, as opposed to this Tony guy who wanted to spirit Hinata away for moonsex just so Naruto could get jelly.

I'd have much rather had a movie about Oro trying to pull one last scheme as opposed to some NH movie focused solely on romance.

I know right? Even the villain's plan in this movie has to do with romance. I don't know what they were thinking but it seems if your last name is Otsutsuki you're guaranteed to suck as a villain.

I agree. I think there are so many more appealing ways to conclude such a great manga than a freaking advertisement based around showing us how everyone paired up and popped out kids. It's insulting.

nh has a lot of blood on its hand, dating back to to naruto's blood oath during the chunin exams. it's also pretty disturbing how hinata is always so eager to throw her life away for naruto. but of course nh fans will see that as hinata showing her heroic love. kittening gross.

I think someone already said this, but it's pretty unfortunate that like 90% of Neji's manga moments seem to be plot devices to advance NH. Guess that destiny stuff IS pretty important after all.

I've been comparing Part 1 to Part 2 a lot ever since Naruto ended, and I will always believe that Part 1 is better overall. Even the Naruto vs Sasuke fight in Part 1 overtrumps the in Part 2 in pretty much every aspect. Do you guys have any idea how long I've been waiting for this fight?! It was one of the main reasons why I got into Part 2.-But Kishi failed. He failed so badly. The fight we got was only 4-5 kittening chapters long, and incredibly rushed. Ch.697/8 was wonderful, but two good chapter are not enough for me. I can't believe that a fight b/w two twelve year old kids was better than one b/w two seventeen year old teenagers.

Somebody who interviews Kishi the next time, should do this to him:

 

 

I so agree, I've been rereading the first fight between Naruto and Sasuke in Part 2 and compared it to their fight in Part 2 which is one of the reasons why I continued reading Naruto when starting Part 2. I mean 5 chapters for the fight would've been fine, but what Kishi could've done was make those 5 chapters at least 30-40 pages each.  Then I would've been like okay it's five chapters, but they are pretty long. Instead it was just incredibly rushed.
