How is Sarada not tied to Sasuke's goal of rebuilding the clan. Wouldn't part of that goal be creating more Uchiha babies?

 

There is no acknowledgement that this is one of Sasuke's goals. In fact, the last goal he had was to be Kage. The whole 'rebuilding his clan' thing had fallen away a long time ago. Yes, it basically meant through honor, but even in the literal sense it hasn't been something he's mentioned or focused on in ages. 

 

So in the epilogue, when he could have been shown living in the village, participating with his family and literally "rebuilding his clan" through teaching his child/children the Uchiha legacy and working with them to fine-tune their techniques and maybe even about the sharingan...none of that is happening. Sasuke is traveling for an unknown reason (to atone for his sins, whatever that means), and is apparently so much out-of-the-house that little Salad feels the same resentment as Bolt.

 

So no, even though that whole rebulding the clan thing was a goal from long ago, I don't see it as being the reason for having children. We aren't actually even given a reason for any of his decisions in the future. Not for choosing Sakura, not for having kids and not for deciding to be a wanderer. 

 

Kishimoto didn't even try to tie that goal into Sasuke's future. It's just left up to the reader to connect it or not. And whether you do or not, it doesn't change your understanding of the storyline one bit. That, to me, says it's no longer important.

I'm barely hearing the news about Sydney! OMG. I'm so glad you're ok! But the people that are held hostage..hope they're ok! :cry: so scary, breaks my heart hearing stuff happening like this!

I really like Toei animation, they seem like a very nice studio


I prefer them more than SP. But when it comes to visuals A-1 animation is the best.

Nothing as complicated or ridiculous as NH or SS. All we did was take a chance on a ship called True Love and sailed.

I still don't understand... did Sasuke find Sakura hot? Why did he choose to be with her? SS was one of the most one sided unrequited loves in all of anime--even Sasuke himself mocked the idea of Sakura's "fantasy of true love". So why the hell did he fulfill it?
SS was never explained from Sasuke's side. What a sh*tty romance.

A-1 is really good. They did Anohana (great anime, you will cry your eyeballs out for sure)

But ufotable is the best in my eyes. That's the studio animating Fate/Stay Night - UBW.

I think it's rather funny that the non existent build up is the good thing about this pairing. After all it looks great when you compare it to the positive showing of spousal violence.

SS explanation :  It wasn't the real him ok  he was misleaded and mentally ill  he was angry didn't knew what he was doing  all this things he did and say to Sakura he was just pretending , but its ok now bc Sasuke is back to his 5 year old  sweet kid  its not like people change I mean OMG you haters learn to read :roll: .

Naruto lucked out on getting Studio Pierrot--a animation team notorious for fanservice who liked exploiting characters' popularity and were unfortunately huge naruhina fans. I bet if another studio animated Naruto the sh*tty ending would've turned out differently (because they would've worked on getting the heroine Sakura popular and not influenced Kishimoto on canonizing a couple that came from their bias for a character)

At least Sasuke's never home. I feel kinda bad saying this because Sarada should have her dad around, but I don't want to see Sakura interacting with him at all. That was probably the only good thing that came out of chapter 700 concerning those two :hm:
