I'm not talking about that. I know that, but look at how different the drawing style is! It's been 16 yrs, so it's expected for the characters to look different, but not this drastically. The irises of these characters are so strangely small... I do not know anything about the process of drawing anime characters, but to me they just seem so different... I'm pretty sure that I'll get used to these new character designs though (hopefully).
Btw, does anyone know whether it is the same anime studio from back then that is know animating the reboot?


No I heard TOEI Animation were busy with something else. Their animation was more bright and child-like.
Maybe it's the uniforms that make the Digidestined look kinda boring. They lose their individuality/fashion with them. Though I do agree their faces look weird...like they used the same model and just added different hair.

It's gonna be weird to watch this anime in Japanese b/c when I grew up, I always listened to it in German.

Yeah, this is more or less a sequel to Season 2.
 
 
I've been hearing this for a while now, but why would Tai and Sora get together in here? Do you guys believe that this takes place in an alternative timeline?


I dunno. Old shipping hope? XD. It will probably only be possible if the new anime studio are hardcore Taiora fans.
All I ask is that Tai doesn't have a new love interest. That will really kitten things up. Romance kittens everything up.

I did find it funny how Gatomon went from a cat, to a woman, then back to a cat again :P
And yeah, hopefully with all of these new anime coming out, I can forget about this big mess :hm:

All I can say is I hope that Tri does fix some of the hiccups Digimon Adventure 02 had, but also will give us Davis, Yolei, Cody, and Ken besides the original 8 Tamers/DigiDestined.

I think I just found the ultimate excuse for Sasuke's crimes/actions and SS  it wasn't the real him that was doing this it was the other Sasuke ugh!  :facepalm: .

Yeah I grew up watching Digimon in English on FoxKids. Such memories... <3.
I heard Tai's old dub VA expressed interest in voicing him again. He's probably old as heck already. XD. If the series turns out to be good I hope North America releases it on DVD.
