This will be the first time the sand siblings appear in a movie wouldn't it?
Anyway, I hopeShikammaru's outfit is an updated version, because his looks better than the plain outfits Kakashi'sgeneration was wearing.

I meant because the sand and leaf village are like several days worth of travel apart from each other and neither of them can leave their posts.

That would be one a change in the shinobi world ambassadors in each village.
