Every time I see this picture, Naruto and Hinata's expressions really creep me out for some reason.   *Shudders* They look really weird.

 

I swear, Hinata looks like Ursula when she was disguised as a princess to steal Eric from Ariel in The Little Mermaid. That's all I can think of when I see that pic!

Hinata in that pic reminds me the RTN-Hinata ! even her expression ! 

 

Anyway, I just watched the confession scene ....Hinata looked ...sad.Even before Toneri came to "take" her with him. Naruto was SO OOC...God ! I'm laughing at this and at the same time, it makes me sad to see Naruto treated like this :sigh:

Q .How would you sum up this movie in a sentence?
A .A romantic movie of Naruto and childhood friend Hinata's love adventures


Q .There seems to be little battle scenes?
A . It's fine as long as there are battles, the animation is top notch.


Q .The characters roles doesn't seem to be active?
A . The mission will have 5 people, each of them will have good scenes. even if sasuke have little scenes his character is not treated poorly.


Q .We hear Naruto learnt to love hinata through genjutsu, can you elaborate on that?
A . In the mission he was trapped by the enemy and Naruto reminisces about the past three times
1st time：Naruto's own memories
2nd time：After he wore hinata's scarve he experience hinata's memory
3rd time: when hinata woke up and the scarve was recovered, the memories were recalled once again 


Q .the use of a scarve symbol is quite old
A .in this work the scarve is a symbol of love, even when it is torn or burnt, it will be reborn again, it's the same as naruto's parents. the scarve represents the red thread of fate. also, a handmade scarve is a cherished memory of kishimoto sensei and his wife. 

Q . why did toneri come for hinata?
A . hinata's power is needed. in the novel it was revealed that toneri went to earth when he was young, and he had laid eyes on hinata when he watched the hyuga household. he vowed to marry hinata ten years from then on

LOL his feelings come out of nowhere, literally. It seems more like the Genjutsu GAVE him feelings that weren't there to begin with rather then just "opened his eyes"

Definitely. Naruto especially looks totally different. I thought he'd look happier marrying the woman he "loves", but his expression is so forced. And I don't know what's going on with Hinata.

He got put on a guilt trip that's why he married her. It's sad that they thought it would be a good idea to put the feelings of a side character's over the god damn title character's.

I read somewhere that Naruto and Hinata married about one and a half years after the events in the Last. Is that true?

No kittening way Kishi is a sellout. He's either suffering from mental illness or he may have lost some rights to Naruto, which means he does not have complete control over the story. Him continuing a new series without the money of his fans is nearly suicidal.

NH fans don't care about these interviews. they only care about Hinata fullfiled her dream. No matter how is crappy the plot of the movie.

Tell me about it. I posted my ending in the viz forum and the first comment I got was from a NH fan but you know the typical NH fan that doesn't even bother to actually form a proper response.

As long as their pitiful ship is canon they don't care.

Kishi is most likely beeing manipulated (well, that might be too harsh, let's say influenced) by SP and a select few editors of Shueisha. Combine that with Kishimoto's mentality (weakwilledness, social awkwardness, lack of human/social interaction, most likely shyness, etc.) and it seems like he lives in a dreamworld.

 

I mean he says that Hinata is more popular while Sakura is not, which might be true for non-Japanese countries but not in his main market...

That's what I'm thinking too. Just how much rights to the manga did Kishi lose behind close door and he was force to keep his mouth shut so he would not lose the rest? I bet this all ties up with the Pain Arc interview that he wanted to end the manga at that point to spend time with his family but was urged or forced to continue the series.
