Sasuke explained it. Those were Itachi's wishes, not Sasuke's. Maybe you would try to do what someone you love wanted, but you can't expect that from anyone. If the wishes of that person harmed them, would you EASILY keep trying to do it? Sasuke explained it. He couldn't stand that Konoha's happiness was because Itachi's sacrifice. Itachi sufered because of them. And do you want Sasuke to protect them? Hearing how they call him traitor and garbage? Can you tell me that that's easy? You can judge about how he went against Itachi's wishes, but you are expecting him react like Naruto.
God, even Naruto wanted to kill Nagato first. When he decided to not do it, he understood Sasuke's suffering and desire of revenge.
Then again, I won't excuse him for use everyone as sacrifice. Morally, we can 'agree' that that's is not the way. But we neither can ignore facts.

ItaSaku, SasuSaku and KakaSaku are TERRIBLE. I don't care. They are horrendous. The first and the latter has no sense at all. And SasuSaku is killing fest when not in bed.

So they've also been saying that this screwed over NS because of that "confirmation", if anything this completely screwed over NH.
I'm pretty sure Naruto has already made the connection by now. Minato was aware that Sakura was like Kushina no more than 10 seconds after meeting her, so why wouldn't Naruto know this by now?

If he's saying that he's been doing his best at trying to look for someone like his mother, why wouldn't it be Sakura when that is the only girl he has ever pursued? He would be lying to his dad if he didn't make the connection by now.

There is no possibly that he has been chasing another girl, so it's obviously Sakura that he is referring to when he says he's been doing his best.

It's never been mentioned that Naruto connected Kushina to Sakura... But in terms of the girl he likes that would be Sakura.
I guess it could be a possibility that he figured it out. It's still a mystery.
Why do people NOT ship these two? I just don't get it.
Probably cause they hate Sakura. When she's probably the most developed female character in the whole show.
I respect Hinata, but Sakura deserves some too.
